2.Progress of the intestinal microflora in human immune and allergic diseases in children
International Journal of Pediatrics 2013;(1):64-67
Microorganisms can affect the development of body immune system.Intestinal flora regulate immune function by promoting the intestinal immune system development, inducing T cell differentiation to avoid or reduce the incidence of immune-related diseases.Allergic diseases are related with the body's immune system hypoplasia and imperfect immune regulation mechanism. The immune system can be affected by intestinal flora, and the distribution of flora in the body between children with allergies and healthy children are significantly different, indicating that the occurrence of allergic diseases are associated with intestinal microflora.Studies have reported probiotic are helpful to the prevention and treatment of allergic disease, providing a new way for the prevention and treatment of allergic diseases.
3.Discussion on TCM strategies and skills of the treatment of refractory jaundice
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2011;33(4):328-330
Based on clinical features of refractory diseases and clinical practice experience for many years, the author expounded the therapeutic strategies from establishing individualized system of differentiation treatment, treatment strategies of refractory diseases, and the key for medication, and emphasized individual concerned therapy, separating primary and secondary treatment and grasping the physiological state to treat pathological changes. Thus complicated and changeable diseases can be treated clinically.

5.New insight into caloric restriction therapy
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2013;(4):269-272
Caloric restriction has been practiced over 500 years as a method for increasing both the length and quality of life.Experimental work confirming the success of this approac h in animals has accumulated in the last 100 years.Since 2000,emerging evidence in humans has shown that caloric restriction can delay the onset of age related diseases including reduced risk of obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and neurodegenerative disorders. The mechanisms and clinical applications have been extensively studied.
6.Efficacy and safety of multiple vitamin E, C, B facial mask for 117 patients with acne vulgaris
Chinese Journal of New Drugs and Clinical Remedies 2005;24(9):727-730
AIM: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of multiple vitamin E, C, B facial mask for the patients with acne vulgaris. METHODS: One hundred and seventeen patients aged over 13 a, with acnes mainly sited on the face and an acne severity rating above grade 2 were enrolled in this study. The mask treatment was used once a day with 8 wk as a course. The primary endpoint included the number and the degree of acne lesions including comedoes, papules, pustules and cysts. The secondary endpoint was the overall efficacy evaluation by the physicians. RESULTS:After 8 wk of treatment with multiple vitamin E, C, B facial mask, the mean number of acne lesions:comedoes, papules, pustules and cysts decreased 13 + s 13,10 ± 12, 5 + 7 and 3 + 3, respectively. These changes were statistically significant (P < 0.01 ). The results of overall efficacy evaluation showed that 7 patients '(6.0 % ) symptom was greatly improved, 44 patients '(37.6 % ) symptoms were moderately improved, 56patients'(47.9 % ) symptoms were slightly improved, and 10 patients' symptoms did not change. Among all 117 patients, 59 patients (50.4 % ) showed no adverse reactions, including swelling, redness, itching, burning or scaling. CONCLUSION: Multiple vitamin E, C, B facial mask is efficacious for the treatment of acne and more than half study subjects experienced in none adverse reaction. Multiple vitamin E, C, B facial mask possesses an alternate therapy in acne vulgaris.
7.Comparative study on two types of digestive reconstruction after total gastrectomy in patients with gastric carcinoma
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2008;15(10):1647-1648
Objective To compare two types of digestive reconstruction and postoperative complications after total gastrectomy in patients with gastric carcinoma. Methods Roux-en-Y esophagojejunostomy and P-type Roux-en-Y esophagojejunostomy were performed in 50 patients with gastric carcinoma after total gastrectomy. The operating time and postoperative complications were observed. Results The gastrointestinal symptoms for Roux-en-Y esophagojeju-nostomy and P-type Roux-en-Y esophagojejunostomy serve as : diarrhea ( 11.8% and 12.1% ), dumping syndrome (3.9% and 3.3% ) and reflux esophagitis(5.9% and 6.0% ) ,the incidence of the difference was not significant ( than,P>0.05 ). The postoperative complications in P-type Roux-en-Y esophagojejunostomy( 13.1% ) slightly higher that Roux-en-Y esophagojejunostomy( 11.1% ) ,but the difference was not significant( P>0.05 ). Roux-en-Y esoph-agojejunostomy average operative time(3.1±0.3)h was significantly reduced than P-type Roux-en-Y esophagojeju-nostomy(3.7±0.2)h(t=3.35,P<0.05). Conclusion Roux-en-Y esephagojejunostomy and P-type Roux-en-Y esophagojejunostomy is a suitable type after total gastrectomy for patients with gastric carcinoma, but the former opera-tive time was shorter.
8.Hashimoto's thyroiditis and papillary thyroid cancer: causality or contingency?
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2013;29(12):1006-1009
The link between Hashimoto's thyroiditis(HT) and papillary thyroid cancer(PTC) has long been a topic of controversy. Some authors suggested that these two disorders are positively correlated, whereas others reported no relationship. Here we summarized the studies made in investigating the correlation between HT and PTC,and analyzed the nature of the correlation between HT and PTC based on biomolecular mechanisms.
9.Roles of IL-23/IL-17 axis in pathogenesis and treatment of ankylosing spondylitis
Tianjin Medical Journal 2015;(10):1213-1216
The treatments for ankylosing spondylitis (AS) are still not effective, which partially due to its unclear patho?genesis. Interleukin (IL)-23/IL-17 axis is a significant immunologic pathway which has attracted much attention in the past few years. This article reviewed the role of IL-23/IL-17 axis in genetic and immunological pathogenesis of AS, and intro?duced the recent progresses in treatments of AS using anti-IL-23 or anti-IL-17 antibody. The important role of IL-23/IL-17 axis in the pathogenesis and treatment of AS indicates its potential use as a new therapeutic target.
10.The epidemiological study of the incidence in encephalopathy of prematurity
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2015;30(10):796-798
With the neonatal intensive care techniques developing, the survival rate of preterm infants has increased markedly. However, these survival preterm infants are extremely vulnerable to develop various diseases,of which brain injury is the most important cause of the disability in preterm infants. At present, encephalopathy of prematurity, the incidence of which is rarely reported in domestic and national reports, mainly refers to white matter injury (WMI).This article reviews the different domestic and national reports about the incidence of encephalopathy of prematurity.
