Objective To retrospectively analyze the correlation between the glucose variability and the recent prognosis of acute coronary syndrome.Methods Eight hundred and seventy-eight patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS)were enrolled in present study,of them 298 cases had history of diabetes mellitus and 580 patients had no history of diabetes mellitus.All ACS patients were divided into 4 groups according to glucose variability [blood glucose coefficient of variation(CV)as index] or mean blood glucose during hospitalization.The baseline data,such as characteristics,clinical features,outcome and adverse event,of all patients with ACS were collected,and the mean blood glucose and glucose variability were calculated.Other indices of blood glucose,such as maximum blood glucose concentration during hospitalization(GluMax)and blood glucose concentration on admission(GluAdm)were also collected.The correlations between these variables and hospital mortality were analyzed retrospectively.Results Eighty-two patients died during hospitalization.The incidence of myocardial infarction and cardiogenic shock as well as hospital mortality in the patients with ACS increased significantly along with the elevation of both mean blood glucose and glucose variability during hospitalization(P

Objective To analyze the clinical value of ultrasound-guided percutaneous Lauromacrogol Injection sclerotherapy in the treatment of simple renal cyst. Methods A total of eighty patients with simple renal cyst, who were divided into 40 groups according to the random number table, were divided into two groups from February 2016 to April 2017. The traditional group used traditional open renal cyst unroofing decompression. Ultrasound guided ultrasound guided percutaneous Lauromacrogol Injection sclerotherapy was performed in the ultrasound guided group. The therapeutic effect, operation time and the rate of successful puncture were compared between two groups of simple renal cysts. It needs to compare the volume of the cyst and the quality of life before and after the intervention. Results Ultrasound guided group simple renal cyst treatment effect was higher than the traditional group (P<0.05). The operation time of the ultrasound guided group was shorter than that of the traditional group, and the success rate of the one shot puncture was higher than that of the traditional group(P<0.05). Before the intervention, the volume and quality of life of the two groups were similar. In the ultrasound guided group, the volume and quality of life in the ultrasound guided group were better than those in the traditional group(P<0.05). Conclusion Ultrasound guided percutaneous Lauromacrogol Injection sclerotherapy is of high clinical value in the treatment of simple renal cysts. The utility model can improve the success rate of one puncture, shorten the operation time, and the exact effect can speed up the regression of symptoms and reduce the volume of the cyst. Therefore, this method can improve the quality of life of patients.

Objective To investigate the relationship between plasma Chemerin and diabetic nephropathy of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).Methods Totally 195 T2DM patients and 65 healthy controls were enrolled in this study.The T2DM patients were further divivded into three subgroups:normal albuminuria group (n =65),microalbuminuria group (n =65),and clinical albuminuria group (n =65).The plasma Chemerin level was determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Results The serum Chemerin level was (150.20 ±21.99) μg/L in diabetic patients,which was significantly higher than that in healthy controls (62.13 ± 18.90) μg/L) (P ＜0.01).Inside the T2DM group,the plasma Chemerin level was [(143.63 ± 22.33) μg/L] in the microalbuminuria group and [(173.21 ± 23.91) μg/L] in the clinical albuminuria group (P ＜ 0.001),and both were significantly higher than that in the normal albuminuria group [(100.35 ±20.11) μg/L] (both P ＜0.01).Multivariate regression analysis showed that the plasma Chemerin level was independently associated with glycosylated hemoglobin (β =0.216,P =0.038),total cholesterol (β =1.867,P =0.048),high-sensitivity c-reactive protein (β =12.330,P ＜ 0.001),and urine albumin (β =37.184,P ＜0.001) in T2DM patients.Conclusion Plasema Chemerin level increases in T2DM patients and therefore can be a reliable indicator for detecting early type 2 diabetic nephropathy.

Objective:To investigate the antitumor effect of Actinidia Chinensis Planch polysaccharide(ACPS)in B16-bearing C57BL/6 mice and approach its mechanism.Methods:The C57BL/6 mice model was established by B16 subcutaneous inoculation,giving the polysaccharides from vena caudalis injection,and flow cytometer(FCM)was used to detect the distribution of tumor-cell cycle,and electron microscope was used to survey morphologic transformation about apoptosis.Results:ACPS can inhibit the growth of B16,the high,middle dose groups obviously restrained the tumor with the rate of 48.67%,40.90%and the control group 24.13%,and classical apoptosis corpuscles had been found through electron microscope in ACPS groups.Compared with control group,the ACPS promoted the spleen-index of B16-bearing mice and cut down the proliferation index,and the G1/S phase was at growth-inhibitory concentrations judged by the distributing analysis on cell-cycle.Conclusion:ACPS had obvious effect of restraining B16 and promoting the spleen index of tumor-bearing mice,which maybe due to its function of regulating immunization and the distributing of cell-cycle.

AIM To study the antiinflammatory and immunomodulatory effects of actarit(Acta). METHODS To abserve the change of primary and secondary inflammation,immune function on adjuvant arthritis(AA) rats treated with Acta and to detect the effect of Acta on T cell subgroup in mice in vitro. RESULTS Acta(10,30,90 mg?kg -1 ) intragastric injection(ig) did not significantly inhibit primary reaction of AA in rats. But Acta(10,30,90 mg?kg -1 ?11 d) ig signifcantly inhibited secondary reaction (secondary inflammatory swelling、 multiple arthritis) of AA rats. The lowered response of ConA induced splenolytes and the decreased IL 2 synthesis were restored to normal in AA rats treated with Acta, while the elevated IL 1 released from peritoneal macrophate (PM?) was reduced. Acta(1～100 ?mol?L -1 ) could inhibit ConA induced T h cells and enhance ConA induced T s cells culture in vitro . CONCLUSION Acta do not show obvious antiinflammatory action. But Acta has therapeutic action on AA rats, which may be related to its immunomodulatory activities,mainly through modulate cell mediated immunity.

Objective To investigate the current status of type 2 diabetic patients who failed to achieve the glycemic control target, and provide theoretic evidences for making corresponding strategies. Methods The 2 diabetic patients who failed to reach the glycemic target were recruited from 181 hospitals in 26 cities and received a standard questionnaire, the conditions of their blood glucose level, lifestyle intervention, blood sugar monitoring, and drug therapy were recorded. Totally 3 861 questionnaires with complete information were collected. And the causes which account for glycemic control status were analyzed. Results Among these patients, the mean HbA1c was 7.9%, the mean fasting plasma glucose was 8.2 mmol/L, and the mean postprandial plasma glucose was 11.5 mmol/L. Only 25.6% of patients take their diet control strictly as prescribed and 44. 5% of patients have little exercise. 35. 8% and 47.8% of patients did not monitor their fasting and postprandial plasma glucose,respectively. Glycemic control in the patients aged ＞ 60 years was similar to the younger patients, but the hypoglycemia incidence in the elder group reached 35.5%, which was higher than those in the other 2 groups (20.8% and 21.4%, both P＜0. 05 ). The proportion of patients with mono-therapy and combination therapy was 46. 1% and 51.7%, while the proportion with combination therapy rose in the patients aged ＞60 years (58.7%;Compared with the other age-groups, all P＜0.05 ). 75 % of patients have adjusted their drug administration regimen since initial treatment. Conclusions Inadequate or inappropriate drug therapy regimen is a major cause responsible for this poor glycemic control status. In addition, the unhealthy life styles, insufficient blood sugar monitoring, and poor compliance were also important causes. Thus, for these patients, it is necessary to further enhance patients' education, to improve life style intervention, as well as to select more effective, safer, and compliant drug therapy regimens. Finally, the glycemic control target for the elder patients should be more flexible.

A descriptive study to investigate the situation of cross-cultural adaptation and health status among medical international students was carried out using cluster sampling method and self-designed questionnaire in Dalian Medical University.148 international students come from 24 countries.There are 5 religions belief among these students.Islam,Catholic,Hindu,Buddhism and Sikhism.The main obstacles of cross-cultural adaptation are language,accommodation and diet.Economic status and stress of interpersonal relationship are also the main causes affecting the physical and mental health of medical international students.

Aim To explore the effects of Nrf2-ARE signal path on levrtiracetam anti-epileptic and levrtiracetam on learning and memorizing ability.Methods Thirty-six SD rats were divided into normal saline group, levrtiracetam group, model group and treatment group.Each group recruited nine rats.Tests of Morries water maze were given to the rats to evaluate their learning and memorizing ability.The protein expression of nuclear factor (erythroid-derived2)-like2 (Nrf2), heme oxygenase 1(HO-1) and NAD(P)H quinone oxidoreductase(NQO1) were examined by Western blot.Results Compared with model group, levrtiracetam could shorten the plateau period in epileptic rats (P<0.05), and increase the expression of Nrf2 protein, HO-1 protein and NQO1 protein in hippocampus(P<0.05).Conclusions Levrtiracetam could improve the learning and memorizing ability in epileptic rats.Levrtiracetam may increase the expression of HO-1 protein and NQO1 protein through the Nrf2-ARE pathway and play a part in antiepileptic effects.
