Stand-by training is an important step for a medical contingent to realize medical support in peacekeeping operations. In line with Draft MOU and General Guidelines for Peacekeeping OPNS,we need to shape a feasible standby training blueprint, and make the training plan for the medical contingent as a whole with consideration of tasks on our contingent and the actual situation of our army.

Objective To evaluated the correlations between MSCT features and expression of VEGF-C,lymphatic vessel density (LVD)in gastric carcinoma. Methods Both plain MSCT and triphasic dynamic contrast-enhanced scan were performed in 58 patients with gastric carcinoma. All patients underwent total/subtotal gastrectomy after MSCT scanning. All specimens were collected into liquid nitrogen or deep freeze refrigerator.Detection procedure for VEGF-C mRNA was performed using RT-PCR,and the LVD was detected with 5’-nucleotidase (5’-Nase)histochemistry.Results The VEGF-C positive rate and the LVD in tumor tissue were high-er than those in normal tissue (P < 0.05 ).In the tumors between diffused and intestinal groups and between non-metastasis and lymph node metastasis groups, the VEGF-C positive rate was 87.1% and 59.3%,87.8% and 41.2%,and the LVD was 8.04±4.58 and 4.08±2.44,8.50±4.70 and 3.64 ± 1.41,respectively,indicating statistically significant differences (P <0.05 ).Conclusion Over-expression of VEGF-C and higher LVD are closely correlated with the lymph node metastasis and Lauren types of MSCT fea-tures of gastric carcinoma.VEGF-C can promote the lymphangiogenesis in carcinoma and further lymph metastasis.

Objective To observe the prognostic factors of functional outcome of patients with cerebral infraction treated in stroke unit. Methods The data of patients with cerebral infractions treated in stroke unit in our hospital were prospectively collected from April 2004 to December 2005 continuously. All the patients They were fol lowed up either by their regular visits to our outpatient clinics or by phone interview. The modified Rankin scale(mRS)score was used as the index of primary outcome. The prognostic factors of the functional outcome were analyzed by monovariate and multivariate logistic regression. Results A total of 150 cases were collected,of whom 98 were with good outcome,52 cases with poor outcome. The multivariate logistic regression showed that the poor outcome was associated with aging, previous history of stroke, high NIHSS scores, complications, and time from onset of the disease to admission to stroke unit. Conclusion The results suggested that older age, having stroke history, higher NIHSS total scores, having complications and delayed hospitalized time were influence factors to functional outcome of cerebral infractions in stroke unit.

The curative efficacy of percutaneous transluminal angioplasty and stenting (PTAS) in the treatment of patients with ischemia cerebrovascular disease caused by artery stenosis was explored. The clinical data of 111 patients with ischemia cerebrovascular disease receiving PTAS in Guangdong Province General Hospital from Aug. 2007 to Nov. 2009 were retrospectively analyzed. In total 132 stents were implanted in the 111 patients. The mortality and rate of neural and non-neural complications were assessed perioperatively. Outcomes [including the frequency of transient ischemic attack (TIA), stroke, or death from vascular diseases) were assessed after operation. NIHSS rating was performed in all cases before and at first week, 6th month and 12th month after the operation. The PTAS success rate was 100%. The degree of stenosis was reduced after PTAS. The total complication rate during perioperative period was 15.3% (the rate of neural complications was 3.6%). Sixty-seven patients were followed up. Three patients (4.48%) developed cerebrovascular events within 1 month, containing one case of TIA, one case of ipsilateral mild stroke and one case of contralateral mild stroke. No severe stroke or death was observed. During a follow-up period of 12 months 7 patients had cerebrovascular events (10.44%), including 2 cases of ipsilateral TIA (2.99%), 2 cases of ipsilateral mild stroke and 2 cases of contralateral mild stroke (2.99%), one case of severe stroke (1.49%). In 13 patients receiving DSA re-examination one year after PTAS, 2 patients (15.38%) had in-stent restenosis. NIHSS scores were obviously decreased during a follow-up period as compared with those pre-operation (P<0.05). It was concluded that PTAS could significantly alleviate the neural function deficit of the patients with ischemia cerebrovascular disease. The success rate of PTAS was high, and the rate of complications was lower and the clinical outcomes were satisfactory. PTAS is a safe and effective therapeutic method, though the long-term outcomes need further study.

Opioid receptors μOR,δOR,κOR and NOPR are all G protein-coupled receptors(GPCRs),which mainly function through G protein and β-ar-restin.Recent studies have found that G protein mediates analgesia, while β-arrestin reduces anal-gesia and is related to the side effects of opioids.Oliceridine is the first biased μOR agonist approved for commerce. It mainly exerts analgesic effect by activating G protein. It has rapid onset of action and reliable analgesic effect.Due to its low activity on β-arrestin,the incidence of side effects is low, comparing to the classic opioid morphine.Oliceri-dine can be safely used in patients with liver or kid-ney insufficiency and its metabolite is inactive. This article summarizes the current progress of pharma-cological research and clinical application of oliceri-dine,aiming to provide reference for the clinical practice of oliceridine.

AIM: To investigate the absorption of helicid in different segments of intestine based on rat everted intestine sac model. METHODS: To establish a high-performance liquid chromatography method for simultaneous determination of helicid and its metabolite. Krebs-ringer solution containing helicid was added to everted intestine sacs of different segments (duodenum, Jejunum, ileum and colon). Drug concentration in sacs was determined at different time points (5, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 min). Adsorptions of helicid in four intestinal segments were compared. RESULTS: This high-performance liquid chromatography was successfully applied to the simultaneous determination of helicid and its metabolite. Absorption of helicid was rapid and time-dependent. The absorption and metabolism of helicid in duodenum segment were higher than these in other segments. CONCLUSION: The duodenum segment is the main site of segmental absorption and metabolism of helicid. This is the first report on intestinal segment metabolism of helicid.
