International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2008;29(6):490-491
Objective To investigate the change of peripheral blood CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells (Tr) in patients with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), and to analyze its role in the pathogenesis of ITP.Methods Anticoagulated venous blood was collected from ITP patients (ITP group,n=35) and healthy controls (healthy control group,n=35). T lymphocytes were isolated and purified with human CD3+ T cell enrichment columm. The percentage of peripheral blood CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells was detected by immunofluorescence staining (PE-anti-CD4 monoclone antibody and FITC-CD25 monoclone antibody) and bicolor flow cytometry by CD25/CD4 gating. Results The number and constituent ratio of CD4+CD25+T cell were significantly lower in ITP group than those of healthy control group (P<0.05).Conclusion There is peripheral blood celluar immunological function disorder in ITP patients, and decrease of CD4+CD25+ T cell population may be involved in the pathogenesis of ITP.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2012;47(3):399-404
To study the effect of Cu2+ and Zn2+ on amyloid-beta peptides (Abeta) aggregation, the morphology, size and cell toxicity of Abeta40 aggregates formed with the metal ions have been observed by the methods including ultraviolet spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The results showed that Cu2+ and Zn2+ can accelerate Abeta40 aggregation, and both changed the morphology and size of Abeta40 aggregates. Zn2+ induced Abeta40 to form fibrous Abeta40 aggregates, while the amorphous and fibrous aggregates were produced by the interaction between Cu2+ and Abeta40. In addition, H2O2 was produced when Abeta40 reduced Cu2+. The relationship between metal ions and Abeta40 aggregates was analyzed, and the function of metal ions in Alzheimer's disease (AD) was illustrated in the research.

Objective To understand the drug tolerance of Augmentin for Escherichia coli , Klebsiella pneumoniae spp and other pathogens Methods The MIC, MBC and bactericidal curves of Augmentin of 135 clinically isolated pathogenic bacteria were assayed The anti bacterial activity and clinical effect between Augmentin, Cefurxine, Ceftriaxone, Amoxicillin and Cefazolin were compared by MIC 50 , MIC 90 , MBC 50 , MBC 90 and modal number MIC,MBC Results Augmentin was better than the same kind of antibiotic without ? lactamase inhibitor It had a good effect for anti bacteria activity of extend spectrum ? lactamase (ESBLs) Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae spp Conclusion Augmentin can be used for infection of ESBLs and other common pathogenic bacteria, since it has a good anti bacterial activity for most clinicaly isolated pathogenic bacteria and productive enzyme bacteria

Objective To investigate the correlation between apolipoprotein E gene polymorphism and car-dio-cerebrovascular diseases. Methods Gene chip method was used to determine ApoE genotypes in 1427 pa-tients with cardiovascular disease and 450 health controls. Levels of serum lipid were compared. Results The highest genotype frequency of ApoE was ε3/3 in the patient group and control group. The allele frequency of ApoE from high to low wasε3,ε2 andε4. The genotype ofε3/3 in patient group was significantly lower than that in con-trol group(χ2 = 12.562,P < 0.01),whileε3/4 was significantly higher than that in control group(χ2 = 36.112, P < 0.01). No significant differences were found between patient groups in genotype or allele frequency of ApoE. The level of TCH,TG,LDL-c and sdLDL in the patient group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and HDL-c was significantly lower than those in the control group(P>0.05). The level of TCH and LDL-c significantly decreased in patients with E2 genotype, and increased in patients with genotype E4(P < 0.05). No significant differences were found in other indexes(P>0.05). Positive relationship was found between ApoE geno-type and phenotype of ApoE and LDL-c. Conclusions ApoE gene polymorphism plays an important role in the oc-currence and development of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases.

Chinese Journal of Nephrology 1997;0(05):-
Objective To define the relationship between genes expression of 5 immune effector molecules and acute rejection of renal allografts. Methods The magnitude of intragraft Fas, Fas ligand (FasL), granzyme B(GB) , perforin(P) and T cell intracellular antigen-1 (TIA-1) mRNA were quantified by competitive PCR in 42 samples. Results were expressed as the ratio of picograms of target gene to picograms of ?-actin, and were compared with the histological diagnosis based upon Banff criteria. Results Of all 42 tissues, the transcripts were detectable in 41 for Fas, 11 for FasL, 19 for GB, 33 for P and 27 for TIA-1. Intragraft expression of FasL, GB, P and TIA-1 but not Fas was significantly elevated in acute rejection group as compared with chronic rejection group ( P

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(01):-
Objective Randomly sampling survey was performed among the troops stationed in the monitoring sites during the period of 2006-2007 for understanding and analyzing the incidence, distribution and the epidemiological features of military training related injuries(MTRI).Methods Troops stationed in 9 monitoring sites were randomly selected for the survey, and soldiers participated in military training during the period of 2006-2007 served as the objects. The data concerning the military training injuries were collected and analyzed according to the "Diagnostic Criteria and Treatment Principle on Military Training Related Injury".Results 6262 out of 71836 soldiers who participated in assorted military training during the period of 2006-2007 suffered from military training related injuries.Among them 2455 out of 35582 soldiers who participated in military training in 2006 suffered the injuries, with an incidence of 6.9%;while 3807 out of 36254 soldiers who participated in military training in 2007 suffered the injuries, with an incidence of 10.5%.A significant difference existed in the incidence of military training related injuries between the years of 2006 and 2007(P

Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation 1996;0(02):-
ObjectiveTo study the outcome of renal transplantation in polycystic kidney disease (PKD) and its influencing factors.MethodsFrom 1978 to 2002, 46 PKD patients undergoing renal transplantation (PKD group) and 46 cases of other diseases (non-diabetic nephropathy;control group) were retrospectively analyzed. Patient/renal survival rate (1, 3 and 5 years after re nal transplantation) and postoperative complications were evaluated.ResultsA comparable overall patient (1, 3 and 5 years: 95.7?% , 91.3?% , 91.3 ?% PKD vs 97.8?% , 95.7?% , 93.5?% controls) and transplant sur vival rate (1, 3 and 5 years: 93.5?% , 89.1?% , 87.0?% PKD vs 95 .7?% , 89.1?% , 87.0?% controls) was found in both groups. Infectious complications with the exception of urinary tract infections (UTIs: PKD 43.4 ?% vs 10.9?% ) were diagnosed in similar frequency in the graft recipien ts. PKD patients were significantly more affected by UTIs than the control group (P
