The clinical data of 21 cases of adrenal ganglioneuroma treated in our hospital from July 1988 to August 2008 were reviewed. The clinical manifestations were: lower back uncomfortableness (9 cases), paroxysmal dizziness (4 cases), central obesity ( 1 case) and 7 cases were discovered incidentally.Five cases were diagnosed pre-operationally and remaining 16 cases were diagnosed post-operationally by pathology. All patients completely recovered after surgery except one, who still had dizziness with high blood pressure. Ultrasonography, CT and MRI examinations are the main diagnostic methods for adrenal ganglioneuroma, and it is confirmed by histopathology, surgical removal of the tumor is the main therapy for the disease.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2011;10(8):583-585
Two hundred and five patients with a confirmed diagnosis of aldosterone-producing adenomas underwent retroperitoneal laparoscopic operation from January 1999 to December 2009 in our hospital. All cases had hypokalemia and hypertension preoperatively. Of all the cases, 80 received total adrenalectomy and 125 received partial adrenalectomy. Operations were successfully performed in all cases. The time of operation ranged from 15 to 150 min [mean(45 ±13) min] and the volume of bleeding during operation ranged from 10 to 200 ml [mean(25 ±10) ml]. The length of hospital stay ranged from 4 to 9 d [mean(6. 8 ± 1. 2) d]. All patients were followed up for 0. 5 - 2 years (mean 1. 2 years). After operations blood potassium levels returned to normal in all cases, blood pressure returned to normal in 168 cases (82.0% ) . Results indicated that partial or total adrenalectomy with retroperitoneal laparoscopy for aldosterone-producing adenomas was safe and feasible technique.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 1988;0(06):-
The existence of HBV-DNA in the mononuclear cells of peripheral blood and in the serum of 61 patients with HBV infection was determined with southern blot and dot blot hybridization, and that in the liver tissue of 31 patients out of the 61 with southern blot and in situ hybridization. The positive rate of HBV-DNA in the serum, mononuclear cells and hepatocytrs was 26.2% (16/61),24.6% (15/61) and 44.8% (13/31) respectively. There was no concordance of the existence of HBV-DNA in the serum, peripheral mono-nuclear cells and hepatocytes in an individual. For example,HBV-DNA was absent in the serum but present in mononuclear cells and hepatocytes in 11 cases. In fact, peripheral mononuclsar cells can serve as the reservoir for HBV to replicate. It cannot be denied that HBV can replicate in an individual even though HBV-DNA is negative in the serum.

Chinese Journal of Urology 2001;0(04):-
Objective To assess the risk factors of adrenal incidentalomas during follow up. Methods In 43 patients with adrenal incidentalomas, the significant risk factors were screened by univariate analysis, and the multivariate analysis was evaluated by logistic regression. Results After an average of (4.0?1.2)years of follow up,4 out of in 21 patients with adrenalectomy were verified to be malignant. By means of multivariate analysis, tumor size ( P =0.018)and abnormal level of hormonal or its metabolic products ( P =0.039)were the risk factors for adrenal incidentalomas and adrenalectomy should be considered when indicated. Conclusions The gains and losses of open surgery for adrenal incidentalomas should be weighed up.If the evaluation of risk factors reveals a possibility of malignancy, adrenalectomy should be undertaken.

Focusing on the poor mechanical strength of porous bioceramics bone scaffold, and taking into account of the good mechanical properties of biodegradable magnesium alloy, we proposed a novel method to fabricate magnesium alloy/bioceramics composite bone scaffold with stereolithography double channels. Firstly, a scaffold structure without mutually connected double channels was designed. Then, an optimized bioceramics scaffold was fabricated according to stereolithography and gel-casing. Molten AZ31 magnesium alloy was perfused into the secondary channel of scaffold by low-pressure casting, and magnesium alloy/bioceramics composite bone scaffold was obtained when magnesium alloy was solidified. The compression test showed that the strength of bioceramics scaffold with only one channel and without magnesium alloy was (9.76 ± 0.64) MPa, while the strength of magnesium alloy/bioceramics composite scaffold with double channels was (17.25 ± 0.88) MPa. It can be concluded that the magnesium alloy/bioceramics composite is obviously able to improve the scaffold strength.

Objective To analyzed the risk factors and clinical features of ischemic complication (IC) in the endovascular treatment (EVT) of unruptured intracranial aneurysm (UIA), so as to reduce the incidence of IC. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical and imaging features of 1 232 patients with UIA, who received EVT in Changhai Hospital, Second Military Medical University from Jan. 2010 to Feb. 2017. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to analyze the risk factors of IC. Results IC occurred in 34 (2.8%) of 1 232 patients with UIA in this study, including 16 cases of acute stent thrombus formation, 3 cases of transient ischemic attack, and 15 cases of postoperative cerebral infarction. Univariate analysis showed that hypertension (P=0.002), smoking (P=0.050), and aneurysm maximum diameter10 mm (P=0.005) were associated with IC. Multivariate analysis showed that hypertension (OR= 3.192, P=0.003), smoking (OR=2.956, P=0.022) and aneurysm maximum diameter10 mm (OR=2.915, P=0.004) were independent risk factors of IC. The permanent disability rate and mortality rate of IC were 8.8% (3/34) and 2.9% (1/34), respectively. Conclusion Hypertension, smoking and aneurysm maximum diameter10 mm are independent risk factors of IC in the EVT of UIA.
