1.The diagnosis and surgical treatment of duodenal trauma and the analysis of misdiagnosis

Objective To explore the diagnosis and surgical treatment of duodenal trauma.Methods A retrospective study was accomplished on the clinical data of 52 patients with duodenal trauma.Results Of 52 patients with duodenal trauma,11 cases were simply anterior wall trauma,41 cases were anterior and posterior wall trauma and 6 cases were complicated with other organs traumatic.All patients were treated by surgery,and 45 cases were cured and 7 cases died.Conclusions Duodenal trauma often betides when patients have suffered road accident or closed impact injury in abodomen.Anterior wall trauma is often complicated with contrecoup of corresponding posterior wall.The diagnosis of posterior wall trauma is easily missed and the leakage of duodenum often happens in the operation.It is critical to check the doubtful cases with careful operations research and select reasonable and appropriate operation types for the diagnosis and surgical treatment of duodenal trauma.
2. Correlation Between Effective Components Content and Color Values of Gentianae Radix et Rhizoma Based on Color Difference Principle

Objective:To measure the color values of Gentianae Radix et Rhizoma and the contents of gentiopicroside,the appearance index value of the representative color was correlated with the intrinsic index value representing the quality,in order to explore the correlation between the contents of active ingredients and the color values,and provide basis for the quality evaluation of Gentianae Radix et Rhizoma. Method:The color difference values of Gentianae Radix et Rhizoma powder was measured by colorimeter.The content determination method of gentiopicroside in the 2015 edition of China Pharmacopoeia was adopted. The content of gentiopicroside was determined by HPLC,and the correlation and regression analysis was carried out by SPSS 21.0 software. Result:There was a significantly positive correlation between the contents of gentiopicroside and L* (representing colorshade)and E* ab(representing total color difference)(P<0.01),while the contents of gentiopicroside and a* (representing color red-green direction) and b* (representing color yellow-blue direction) had a significantly negative correlation (P<0.01). Conclusion:The color value of Gentianae Radix et Rhizoma has a certain correlation with the content of gentiopicroside,and yellowish Gentianae Radix et Rhizoma contain more active ingredients, with a better quality.The contents of gentiopicroside active ingredients in Gentianae Radix et Rhizoma can be quickly predicted by determining the color difference values,which can provide a new idea for quality evaluation of this herb.
3.Protective Effect of Wutou Chishizhi Wan on Vascular Endothelial Cells and Oxidative Stress in Myocardial Ischemia-reperfusion Rats

Objective:To investigate the protective effect of Wutou Chishizhi Wan on myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury (MIRI) in rats, and observe its effect on such mechanisms as coagulation function, vascular endothelial cells and oxidative stress in rats. Method:A total of 40 SD rats were randomly divided into normal group, model group, positive drug group (Urokinase group) and Wutou Chishizhi Wan group, with 10 rats in each group. Except for the normal group, rat myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury models were established. The changes of heart rate (HR) at 10 min before ischemia, 30 min after ischemia and 30, 60, 120 min (T0,T1,T2,T3,T4), and the change of electrocardiogram (ECG) J point after modeling in rats were observed. The pathological changes of rat myocardial tissue were observed by hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining. The changes of four indexes of coagulation [prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), thrombin time (TT), fibrinogen content decreased significantly (FIB)] in rats were observed. The contents of endothelin-1 (ET-1), thromboxane A2 (TXA2) and prostacyclin (PGI2) in serum and myocardium levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) of MIRI rats were observed. Western blot assay was used for the detection of oxidative stress protein Keap1 and transcription factor-E2-related factor (Nrf2) expression levels in rat myocardial tissue. Result:Compared with the normal group, the ECG of MIRI rats showed significant myocardial ischemic injury-like changes, ST segment was significantly elevated, J point was significantly increased, and the incidences of HR in T1, T2, T3 and T4 were significantly reduced (

5.Investigation of Adsorption and Desorption Properties of Total Ginsenosides on Anion-exchange Resins and Its LC-MS Analysis

Objective:To compare the adsorption and desorption properties of different anion exchange resins for total ginsenosides, clarify their adsorption/desorption mechanism, and establish a simple protocol for the purification of total ginsenosides. Method:The adsorption and desorption properties of five different resins (D301, D315, D312, D330, D201) on total ginsenosides were evaluated with specific adsorption capacity, specific desorption capacity, desorption rate and recovery rate as indices. The adsorption kinetics and thermodynamics of the selected resin and D101 macroporous resin were investigated by pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order kinetic models, as well as Langmuir and Freundlich isothermal adsorption models, and the differences of adsorption mechanism between anion exchange resin and conventional macroporous resin were elucidated. The dynamic adsorption and desorption experiments were used to determine the optimum chromatographic parameters for anion exchange resin. After verifying the purification process of total ginsenosides, nine individual ginsenosides were qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). Result:D301 anion exchange resin was obviously superior to the other four kinds of anion exchange resin, the optimum parameters were set as follows:pH 8 of loading solution, loading volume of 2 BV, loading speed of 4 BV·h-1, eluted with 3 BV of water and 20% ethanol for the impurities, eluted with 8 BV of 80% ethanol with elution speed of 4 BV·h-1. After purified by D301 resin, the enrichment coefficients of 9 monomer ginsenosides were simultaneously increased to different degrees, the overall enrichment coefficient was up to 5.3, the recovery rate for the total amount of these ginsenosides was calculated to be 80.9%, and the purity of total ginsenosides in Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma extract increased from 17.07% to 91.19%. Conclusion:D301 anion exchange resin is suitable for rapid and practical purification of total ginsenosides, hence allowing for the enrichment of high-purity total ginsenosides from Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma via one-dimensional column chromatography.
6.Effect of combined use of rehmannia and rhodiola on hemopoietic function in mice with bone marrow depression.

UNLABELLEDOBJECTIVE To explore the effect of combined use of rehmannia (RM) and rhodiola (RD) on peripheral leukopenia and bone marrow hematopoietic function suppression induced by cyclophosphamide (CTX) in mice.
METHODSICR mice were established into bone marrow inhibition models by intraperitoneal injection of CTX, and were administered with RM, RD or its extract (RDE), singly or in mixture, via gastrogavage for 10 days. The changes of peripheral hemogram, bone marrow nucleated cell proliferation, CFU-GM colony formation, GM-CSF and erythropoietin (EPO) secretion were observed.
RESULTSCompared with the un-treated model mice, the peripheral white blood cell count was significantly higher in model mice treated with RDE and RM mixture; the bone marrow nucleated cells count, CFU-GM formation, and GM-CSF production were significant higher in model mice treated with RD and RM mixture, showing statistical significance (P < 0.01); while EPO production in the RD and RM mixture treated group was slightly elevated, but the difference showed no statistical significance.
CONCLUSIONRD and RM mixture could regulate hematopoietic system by promoting the production of bone marrow cells and colonies, as well as enhancing the synthesis of related cytokines, such as GM-CSF, so as to increase the amount of peripheral white blood cells and restore the hematopoietic function of organism.

7.Depressive symptoms and related factors among college students with hair loss in Changchun

Objective:
To understand the level of depressive symptoms and associated factors in alopecia college students in Changchun.
Methods:
The convenience sampling method was used to select 275 alopecia students from outpatient clinics in the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine during November 2019 to June 2021. Center for Epidemiological Survey, Depression Scale(CES-D) and general characteristics were collected. Depressive symptoms and its associated factors were analyzed by binary Logistic regression.
Results:
A total of 121 students with hair loss reported depressive symptoms, with the detection rate of 44.0%. Female( OR=2.26, 95%CI =1.22-4.20), 26-30 years of age( OR=2.43, 95%CI =1.01-5.85), poor sleep quality( OR=13.63, 95%CI =4.09-45.42), substantially affected interpersonal relationship( OR=3.56, 95%CI =1.57- 8.06 ), perceived severe stress ( OR=3.73, 95%CI =1.35-10.30) were positively correlated with depressive symptoms in alopecia college students, and 1-2 times of exercise per week, 3-5 times of exercise per week, and >5 times of exercise per week ( OR= 0.17 , 0.14, 0.03, 95%CI =0.05-0.61, 0.04-0.52, 0.01-0.14) were negatively correlated with depressive symptoms in alopecia college students( P <0.05).
Conclusion
Depressive symptoms are reported in 44.0% of alopecia college students in Changchun, which might be related with age, gender, sleep quality, interpersonal distress, stress perception and exercise.
8.Nosocomial Lower Respiratory Infection and General Anesthesia: A Risk Factor Analysis and Prophylaxis

OBJECTIVE To explore the factors and effective preventive method of nosocomial lower respiratory(infection) after general anesthesia through trachea intubation.METHODS Using bacterial culture and identification technique to detect the samples collected from pipe and the sides of anesthetic machine,from disposable virus/(bacteri)a respiratory filter and buccal and bronchial secretion of patients with general anesthesia through trachea(intubation.) RESULTS Eight of 15 anesthetic machines without disinfection were with positive bacterial culture.All sides of virus/bacteria respiratory filter,and buccal and bronchial secretion of patients during operation had same(bacteria.) No bacteria growth was found in anesthetic machine and disposable virus/bacteria respiratory filter used after operation.The same bacteria as from buccal secretion were isolated from anesthetic machine in patients(without) using virus/bacteris respiratory filter.CONCLUSIONS The(results) showed the anesthetic machine is more easy to be contaminated by patients,and the reuse of anesthetic machine is an important factor for nosocomial(lower) respiratory infection after general anesthesia through trachea intubation.Intensifying periodic disinfection of(anesthetic) machine and using virus/bacteria respiratory filter can prevent contamination between anesthetic(machine) and patients and decrease nosocomial lower respiratory(infection) after operation.
9.Deletion and mutation analysis of hepatocyte mtDNA damage in patients with obstructive jaundice

Objective To lay the foundation for analyzing the mechanism of liver cell injury caused by mtDNA deletion and mutation in patients with obstructive jaundice. Methods 30 patients were randomly selected as obstructive jaundice group (case group) and 10 patients as control group according to the strict condition. Author makes use of the methods of PCR amplification of the entire human mitochondrial genome in 17 mismatch-specific overlapping fragments and gene sequencing results to Preliminary estimate the localizathion of hepatocyte mtDNA damage in patients with obstructive jaundice. Result Deletions and length of partial liver cells were 8429-9591 of about 1. 1 kb, 16024-60 of about 0. 6 kb, 1889-3031 of about 1. 1 kb and 4977bps common deletion and the high mutation rate of some bases in D-loop region. Conclusion There are multiple mtDNA deletions and multiple point mutations in patients with obstructive jaundice
10.Professor 's experience of four elements of acupuncture manipulation practice.

Through collecting the 30-year medical experience of professor , the methods of acupuncture manipulation practice were summarized so as to provide the reference for the medical staffs in acupuncture teaching and clinical work. Professor proposes four key elements of acupuncture manipulation practice, i.e. the style of needling practice, the consciousness of needling practice, the strength of needling practice and of needling practice. Acupuncture manipulation is a highly operational clinical skill. The knowledge learning from the experience of the instructors is the important way to improve acupuncture techniques. Besides, beginners need to improve their techniques through learning the theories, a large amount of exercises as well as the self-perception.
