Sperm associated antigen 9(SPAG9),a new member of the c-Jun NH2-terminal kinase (JNK)interacting protein(JIP)family. plays a role in sperm-egg fusion and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK)signaling pathway.Researches have shown that SPAG9 is closely related to the biological behavior of human malignant tumors, and plays an important role in the development of tumor.

Objective To investigate the effects of H3K9ac hyperacetylation mediated by histone acetylases on the overexpression of MEF2C in the hearts of fetal mice exposed to alcohol during pregnancy,and provide new interven-tion targets for prevention and treatment of cardiac dysplasia caused by alcohol exposure.Methods C57BL/6 mice were divided into 5 groups randomly,blank control group,dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO)group,alcohol group,alcohol +anacardic acid group and anacardic acid group,and then the hearts of fetal mice were collected to be analyzed.Chroma-tin immunoprecipitation and Western blot were used in assaying the binding of histone acetylases and the level of H3K9ac to the promoter of MEF2C in the hearts of fetal mice.The mRNA expression of MEF2C was tested by adopting real -time PCR.Results The level of H3K9ac in the promoter of MEF2C in the hearts of fetal mice exposed to alcohol was higher than that in the hearts of fetal mice exposed to saline (1 .30 ±0.1 9 vs 0.45 ±0.01 ),there was statistically significant difference (P <0.05),while the binding of E1 A -binding protein (p300),p300 /cyclic adenosine mono-phosphate response element binding protein -associated factor (PCAF)and steroid receptor coactivator -1 (SRC1 )to the promoter of MEF2C were abnormally elevated in the hearts of fetal mice treated by alcohol (1 .68 ±0.08 vs 0.82 ± 0.08,1 .08 ±0.05 vs 0.42 ±0.02,1 .1 8 ±0.05 vs 0.39 ±0.08),and there were statistically significant differences (all P <0.05).The expression of MEF2C mRNA in alcohol group was higher than that in blank control group (1 .36 ± 0.1 2 vs 0.29 ±0.03),there was statistically significant difference(P <0.05).However,a pan -acetylases inhibitor, anacardic acid,could decrease significantly the binding of p300 and PCAF to the promoter of MEF2C (1 .52 ±0.05 vs 0.63 ±0.09,1 .1 3 ±0.04 vs 0.45 ±0.04),and correct abnormal hyperacetylation of H3K9ac induced by alcohol (1 .58 ±0.08 vs 0.67 ±0.05),and down -regulate the over -expression of MEF2C in the hearts of fetal mice exposed to alcohol (1 .36 ±0.1 2 vs 0.41 ±0.05 ),and there were statistically significant differences (all P <0.05 ). Conclusions Hyperacetylation of H3K9ac mediated by p300 and PCAF may be a key regulatory factor in the over -expression of cardiac nuclear transcription factor MEF2C in the hearts of fetal mice exposed to alcohol during pregnan-cy.Anacardic acid can significantly attenuate the level of H3K9ac through inhibiting the binding of p300 and PCAF to the promoter of MEF2C,and down -regulate the over -expression of cardiac nuclear transcription factor MEF2C in the hearts of fetal mice.

Objective To investigate the changes of cerebral regional glucose metabolism and regional homogeneity (ReHo) and their relation in patients with major depression disorder (MDD) using 18F-FDG PET/CT and functional MRI (fMRI).Methods A total of 18 MDD patients (6 males,12 females,age:(33.00±7.59) years) and 17 healthy controls (6 males,11 females,age:(34.59±8.96) years) underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT and fMRI.The changes of glucose metabolism on PET and ReHo on fMRI were analyzed individually by SPM and ReHo fMRI 1.0 software.Pearson correlation analysis was used.Results Compared with the glucose metabolism of control subjects,those of MDD patients decreased in the bilateral superior,middle and inferior frontal gyri,bilateral superior and middle temporal gyri,bilateral anterior cingulate cortices,bilateral putamina and caudate nuclei and the left pallidum.Meanwhile the glucose metabolism increased in the bilateral hippocampi and the left thalamus.The ReHo in MDD patients decreased in bilateral superior and middle frontal gyri,left pallidum,bilateral putamina,left anterior cingulate cortex,whereas increased ReHo was found in right hippocampus and right thalamus.The SUV of bilateral superior,middle and inferior frontal gyri,bilateral superior and middle temporal gyri,bilateral putamina,left caudate,left pallidum,left anterior cingulate cortex,bilateral hippocampi and bilateral thalami were correlated with ReHo (r =0.51-0.83,all P＜0.05).However,no correlation was found between the SUV and ReHo in right caudate and anterior cingulate cortex (r=0.41,0.37; both P＞0.05).Conclusion There may be relative characteristic models of abnormal cerebral metabolism and cerebral dysfunction impairment in MDD patients,and the changes of cerebral regional glucose metabolism may be correlated with the changes of ReHo.

Objective To explore the ultrasonographic characteristics in craniocerebral gunshot injured areas and the value of ultrasound technology for judging the activity of wound tissues. Methods After establishment of the model of penetrated craniocerebral gunshot wound, the ultrasonographic characteristics of the tissues in the injured areas were observed by conventional ultrasound and contrastenhanced ultrasonography(CEUS) ,and compared with the pathological changes of the wound area. Results ①A straight-looking, irregular-edged, easily distinguishable pipe-shaped high-level echo can be seen by conventional ultrasound in craniocerebral gunshot injured areas. ②The pipe-shaped strong echo usually shows non-enhancement by the CEUS,or shows homogeneous hypo-enhancement in some areas. ③Tissues around the pipe-shaped echo usually appears that the homogeneous hypo-enhancing area and non-enhancing area exist together. ④Around the above-mentioned the hypo-enhancing area and non-enhancing area, a hyper-enhancing area can be seen, and appears to be a typical ring-shaped high-level echo in short-axis section of the pipe-shaped echo. ConclusionsConventional ultrasound can easily shows the distribution of craniocerebral gunshot injured areas characterized by pipe-shaped high-level echo, and CEUS can precisely demonstrate necrotic tissues in the gunshot injured areas,distinguish them from the degenerative tissues and normal tissues. The application of ultrasound technology will greatly improve the therapeutic and treatmental level of the craniocerebral gunshot wound.

A high active soybean isoflavone glucoside hydrolase-producing mould strain was isolated from spirit qu. Its optimal hydrolase-producing conditions were as follows: 2.5% wheat bran as carbon source, 1% NaNO3 as nitrogen source, initial pH7. 0, culture medium volume 40mL/250mL, inoculating quantity 8% , culture temperature 30℃, revolutions 160r/min and culture time 84h. The enzyme activity reached 82 U/mL. Cu2+ can inhibit Absidia sp. R strain from producing the hydrolase, the influence of other metal ions was not remarkable on it.

Through retrospective analysis of the clinical and laboratory data of 1 466 inpatients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM),we investigated the prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and analyzed the risk factors.The prevalence of CKD in hospitalized patients with T2DM was 52.25％.In the patients with CKD,protein urine was present in 93.47％ of the cases,27.93％ of them had glomerular filtration rate(eGFR) ≤60 ml · min-1 · 1.73 m-2,damage of renal tubular function was present in 24.28％,and abnormal renal imaging in 14.88％.Logistic regression showed that age,body mass index(BMI),duration of diabetes,systolic blood pressure,serum uric acid,low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C),and smoking were independently associated with patients of T2 DM and CKD.The prevalence of CKD was increased with aging,diabetic course,BMI,and LDL-C.CKD is a common chronic complication in patients with T2DM,especially in patients with prolonged course,advanced age,and obesity.Much attention should be paid to early detection of CKD in patients with diabetes.In addition to detecting urinary protein and eGFR,renal tubular function and morphological examination should also be included.

Objective: To study the effect of ?-3 polyunsaturated fatty(?-3 PUFA) on the serum lipid of ovariectomized rats.Methods: 60 virgin female Sprague-Dawley rats,3 months of age,were randomized by the stratified weight method into 6 groups: Sham group:deionized water 2 mL/d,OVX group:eionized water 2 mL/d,E2 group: OVX+17?-ethinylestradiol 0.1 mg/(kg?d),A group: OVX+?-3 PUFA 75 mg/(kg?d),B group: OVX+?-3 PUFA 150 mg/(kg?d) and C group: OVX+?-3 PUFA 300 mg/(kg?d).Each group had 10 rats.Experiment period was 90 days.Body weight were measured every week.Serum were collected to measure Cholesterol(TC),Triglyceride(TG),High-density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C),and Low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C).Results: There were significant difference between groups in the serum lipid.In the OVX group,TC and LDL-C increased.In the E2 group,TC increased compared with that in the Sham group,and HDL-C,LDL-C and HDL-C/TC decreased significantly compared with that in the OVX group.In the A,B and C groups HDL-C/TC increased significantly compared with those in the E2 group.Conclusion: The ovariectomized rats have lipid metabolism disorderd.The ?-3 PUFA and estrogen replacement therapy plays a role in the lipid metabolism.The ?-3 PUFA has the best efficiency in reducing the level of serum lipid.

To evaluate the neuroprotective effect of nerve growth factor ( NGF ) on acute angle-closure glaucoma patients after trabeculetomy.METHODS: Patients with viral keratitis who underwent trabeculectomy in treatment of acute angle - closure glaucoma in Xiamen Eye Center of Xiamen University from December 2011 to October 2013 were selected and completed the treatment, 61 eyes of 45 cases were followed up. The treatment group of 23 cases (32 eyes) with acute angle-closure glaucoma patients were treated by NGF gel for 3mo after trabeculetomy, while in the control group 22 cases (29 eyes) were treated by normal saline replaced NGF. All patients were followed up for at least 12mo, visual acuity, perimetry, retinal nerve fiber layer ( RNFL) thickness and cup/disc ratio of the patients were followed up during the treatment. The safety of topical use of NGF gel was also evaluated.RESULTS:ln all patients, the intraocular pressure ( lOP) was successfully controlled under 21mmHg and the visual acuity was markedly increased in the affected eye after trabeculectomy. Compared with control group, the postoperative lOP and visual acuity had no significant differences in treatment group (P>0. 05). The average light sensitivity of perimetry and mean defect were better than that in control group postoperative 6 and 12mo; The results of optical coherent tomography ( OCT ) and Heiderburg Retina Tomography ( HRT )-Ⅲ showed that RNFL thickness was significantly greater than that in control group, while cup/disc ratio significantly less than that in control group postoperative 6 and 12mo. Ocular surface damage, corneal endothelium to reduce and other eye complication were no observed in treatment group.CONCLUSlON:Acute angle-closure glaucoma treated by NGF gel after operation is effective and safe.

Objective To explore the effect of extracurricular activities based on specialist nursing clinic. Methods Thirty-four undergraduate nursing students of grade 2013 in the Capital Medical University were enrolled in the study. After learning of nursing theories for senile dementia, the extracurricular activities based onspecialist nursing clinicwere carried out. Before and after the second class activities, the caring ability inventory scale and self scale-rating for self-directed learning (SRSSDL) were used to assess 34 students. Result After the activities, students' caring ability and self-directed learning ability were statistically significantly improved (P<0.01). Conclusion The extracurricular activities based onspecialist nursing cliniccan stimulate the learning interest of nursing students and improve their self-directed learning ability and humanistic care ability.
