With the development of the cross-correlation technique in surgery, the transplantation and vi-cariousness have become more and more important in repair surgery and reconstructive surgery. A nice bio-material could replace the related tissue or organ of human body, support the homologous function of organ-ism,and accelerate the process of self recovery and autotherapy. This review is about the status of research and application of biomaterial in surgery.

A nice biomaterial,which could replace the correlated tissue or organic of human body,supports the homologous function of organism,and accelerates the process of self recovery and autotherapy in the same time.The application of biomaterial in clinic,not only have the chemical characters and function of vitodynamics to match,but also be with nice biocompatibility and practical safety.Some development of biomaterial and the biocompatibility of it in this paper was reviewed,and the application status in the cardiothoracic surgery in recent years.

Objective To investigate the variation of the oxidative stress status in type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS)and significance.Methods Eighty -nine patients hospitalized in our department from September 2012 to April 2014 were divided into three groups: T2DM control (group DM), T2DM with coronary artery disease(group DM-CAD) and T2DM with acute coronary syndrome (group DM-ACS).Blood glucose,HbA1C,Lipids,serum Malondialdehyde (MDA) level, su-peroxide dismutase(SOD) activity, glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) activity and total anti-oxidation capacity(T-AOC) were deter-mined.Results Blood glucose、HbA1C and Lipids were similar in three groups ( P >0.05).Compared to group DM and group DM-CAD, serum MDA levels in group DM-ACS were significantly higher( P <0.05), while SOD、GSH-Px activities and T-AOC were sig-nificantly lower than those in group DM and group DM -CAD( P <0.05).Conclusions The oxidative stress level being significantly increased in T2DM patients with ACS.

BACKGROUND:At present, the confrontation of CAD/CAM systems and the lost wax casting method for marginal adaptation has been widely concerned, but the results are controversial. OBJECTIVE:To compare the marginal adaptation of single cobalt-chromium PFM crowns produced by 3 Shape CAD/CAM systems and the lost wax casting method. METHODS: A maxilary first premolar was prepared according to the standards. 50 resin-generation models were created by bi-color silicone rubber method and randomly divided into two groups: CAD/CAM group (A1-A25) and cast group (B1-B25). Al the models were cast in plaster. In CAD/CAM group, the digital impressions were obtained by optical scanning, then designed through computer and cut directly by NC miling machine. In cast group, metal ceramic crowns were made by the lost wax casting method. When crowns were al seated on the working dies, the marginal gaps were copied with light silicone rubber and then embedded with occlusal silicone rubber. The thickness of crown marginal gap was measured with a stereo microscope. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The average vertical clearance was (34.67±7.48)μm of CAD/CAM group, while (53.70±9.64)μm of the cast group; the difference was statisticaly significant between two groups (P < 0.05). The average level clearance was (37.61±7.63)μm of CAD/CAM group, while (53.02±10.65)μm of the cast group, and the difference was statisticaly significant between two groups (P < 0.05). Experimental findings suggest that, the marginal adaptation of single cobalt-chromium PFM crowns cast produced by 3 Shape CAD/CAM systems is clinical acceptable (< 120μm), and CAD/CAM systems of metal casting is obviously better than the lost wax casting in building metal based crowns with adaptable margin.

Objective To study the psychological defence (PD) and coping style (CS) of the patients suffering depressive episode (DE).Methods 104 cases of the experimental group and 104 cases of the control group,which were stratified sampled,had been investigated by applying defensive style questionnaire (DSQ),coping style questionnaire(CSQ).Results The total score of the immature PD of the experimental group(5.19±0.73) was significantly higher (t =2.93,P＜ 0.05) than that of the control group (4.41 ± 0.76).In the immature mechanism,withdrawal,somatization,avoiding,passive aggression were significantly higher,but the complaints and fantasy were significantly lower.The total score of mature PD of the experimental group(4.49±0.61) was significantly lower (t=-6.02,P＜0.01) than that of the control group(6.01±0.85).For the mature mechanism,sublimation and humor were lower and the repression was higher.And for the CS,problem solving,consulting and rationalization scores were significantly lower than those of the control group(t=-4.58,P＜0.01 ; t=-4.49,P＜0.01; t=-4.01,P＜0.01).The self-accusation,retreat scores were significantly higher than those of the control group(t=8.21,P＜0.01; t=5.31,P＜0.01).Conclusion Patients suffering DE are apt to use immature PD and CS.To increase the therapeutic effect,the style of the patients' PD and CS should be highlighted,and it is necessary to take steps to guide the patients to use mature PD and CS.

Objective To study the incidence of malignant tumors in the patients undergone renal transplantation, and to explore the mechanism of higher incidence. Methods A retrospective study was performed on 829 patients undergone renal transplantation followed by immunosuppression therapy from 1998-2006. 15 cases developed malignant tumors among the 829 patients with incidence of 1.9%. The incidence of urinary system tumor was 66.7%, of hepatoma was 13.3%, and 6.7% for lymphoma, cutaneous cancer and pulmonary carcinoma respectively. Results 15 patients suffered from renal tumors 11-73 months after kidney transplantation, in whom renal function was normal in 14 patients, and in 1 patient the grafted kidney showed dysfunction. No tumor metastasis was found in those cases, except in 3 patients ureteral lumen infiltration was found. Most patients accepted operations, with the dose of the immuosurpression drugs adjusted or reduced, and supplemented with chemotherapy or rediotherapy and immunotherapy. Conclusions The pathogenesis might be related with immunosuppression drugs postoperatively, and also the effects of transplantation itself and the primary disease before transplantation, for instance, uroepithelium malignancy was prolonged medication was frequently the reason for renal transplantation.

Objective　To explore the changes of ER-IR and the ultra structure in the medial preoptic area, arcuate nuclei of early-aged mice treated with estrogen. Methods　Immunohistochemistry assay and electron microscopy were used in this study. Results　ER-IR in the medical preoptic area and arcuate nuclei were greatly reduced after estrogen was given. The cell nuclei of neurons in these areas migrated towards the side, the nuclear membrane became folded, synapse became richer, and the number of synapse vesicle increased. Conclusion　Estrogen can affect the neuron structure and function through the change of estrogen receptor expression in the medial preoptic area and arcuate nuclei of the hypothalamus cardiovascular center.

Objective To investigate the mechanism of automatic processing of cartoon facial expressions by using event-related potential(ERP).Methods Sixteen healthy volunteers (7 males and 9 females) were recruited for this study.The subjects were instructed to mentally count green faces (targets) and ignore the red ones (non-targets) including standard neutral expressions and deviant emotional expressions.Thirty two channels electroencephalogram (EEG) was recorded by Neuroscan Nuamps System.The amplitudes of mismatch negativity (MMN) were analyzed.Results (1) MMN1:the amplitudes were(-0.570 ± 0.076) μV (TP7/TP8),(-0.840 ±0.119) μV(A1/A2) ,(-1.199 ±0.105)μV(T5/T6) ,(-1.184 ±0.102)μV(O1/O2).There was a significant main effect of site (F(3,45) = 8.340, P ＜ 0.05 ) and an interaction of orientation × hemisphere (F(1,15) =11.977, P＜0.05).( 2 ) MMN2: the amplitudes were (-0.469 ± 0.126 ) μV ( TP7/TP8 ), (-1.014 ± 0.255 ) μV(A1/A2) ,(-1.071 ±0.182)μV(T5/T6), (-0.915 ±0.178)μV (O1/O2).There was a significant main effect of orientation (F(1,15) = 7.232, P ＜ 0.05 ) and interactions of orientation × type (F(1,15) = 6.458, P ＜ 0.05 )and orientation × hemisphere(F(1,15) = 11.907, P＜0.05 ).Conclusion Cartoon emotional faces elicit expressionrelated MMN indexing automatic processing.The MMN amplitude is right-lateralized and larger for negative than positive expression.
