Primary ovarian choriocarcinoma is an extremely rare germ cell neoplasm, and the prognosis is poor. Especially, the diagnosis of primary ovarian nongestational chori-ocarcinoma can be reliably established in a girl or innocent virgin. We report a case of primary ovarian, nongestational, pure choriocarcinoma in a 16-year-old woman. She died within 1 year after diagnosis in spite of the treatment with surgery and combin-ation chemotherapy.

The clinical triad of relapsing iritis, ulcers of the mouth and genitalia was first described in 1939 by Hulusi Behcet. This entity, originally confined to the above triad of symptoms appears to be systemic disease manifested by skin lesion, thrombophlebitis, neurologic, cardiovascular or visceral symptoms. The vascular involvement in Behcet's syndrome has been reported since Mischima first described a case in 1961, four types of vascular lesion are freuqnetly observed most commonly on the inferior or superior vena cava. Treatments consist of anticoagulation and administering oral steroids. We report a case of SVC obstruction in 36 years old female patient with Behcet's syndrome.

An unusual case of glroependymal cyst involving the lateral ventricle, 3rd ventricle, cerebellopontine angle cistern and prepontine cistern, simultaneously, is reported. The glroependymal cyst is benign developmental cyst that mainly occurs in the cerebrospinal axis in relation to ventricle, but occasionally occurs in relation to extraventricular system, such as subarachnoid space, brain stem and cerebral parenchyme. The histological characteristics of ependymal cyst wall are ependyma-like epithelium and neuroglial tissue.

Korean Journal of Pathology 2009;43(2):171-173
Spindle cell lipoma (SCL) is a rare lipoma variant that account for approximately 1.5% of all adipocyte-origin tumors; SCL usually occurs on the posterior neck or shoulder. The histological characteristics of SCL include mature, univacuolar fat cells and fibroblast-like spindle cells in a matrix of collagen and mucoid material. It is important to note that spindle cell lipoma can be mistaken both clinically and histologically for liposarcoma. We report here on a rare case of SCL in a 48-year-old male, and the patient presented with a large right neck mass that involved the lateral neck space and larynx.

We report a series of 19 consecutive patients with post-traumatic cerebral infarction. Post-traumatic cerebral infarction(PTCI) was diagnosed by CT within 24 hours of admission in 6 cases and up to 14 days after admission in 13 cases of 1092 patients who required cranial CT for trauma during the period. The frequency, vaascular territories, cause, and mortality rate of post traumatic cerebral infarction were discussed.
