Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 1997;0(04):-
Objective To assess voice parametric characteristics of normal children in different age?sex?and phonation conditions. Methods Voice data of 240 children were collected and analyzed with Dr. Speech software. Acoustic signal data were measured in three phonation conditions: the lowest modal voice, natural voice, the highest modal voice. Results Perturbations and normalized noise energy from the highest value to the lowest one by one were that of the lowest modal voice, natural voice, the highest modal voice. The sequences of standard deviation of fundamental frequency were that of the highest modal voice, the lowest modal voice, natural voice. Conclusion The voice quality of normal children had distinctive characteristics in different phonation conditions.
3.CT findings of pulmonary actinomycosis and causes of misdiagnosis
Chinese Journal of Radiology 2013;(6):509-512
Objective To scrutinize the CT features of pulmonary actinomycosis and analysize the causes of misdiagnosis. Methods CT images of eleven patients with pulmonary actinomycosis proved by pathology were retrospectively reviewed.Among them,6 were scanned with additional enhanced CT scan. Results Among the 11 patients, the lesions located in the inferior lobe in 7 patients, and in the superior lobe in 4 patients. The lesions affected two or more pulmonary segments in 9 patients,6 of them involving two lobes.Irregular mass or nodules with necrotic low-attenuation areas were the main signs in all patients, and segmental consolidations were found in 6 patients.Peripherally progressive enhancement was found in all patients with contrast enhanced CT scan.Vicinity pleural thickening was found in 11 patients, while extrapleural fat deposition was found in 6 patients. One case showed erosion of the chest wall and rib. Conclusion Pulmonary actinomycosis is a chronic suppurative granulomatous inflammation, which is often misdiagnosed with neoplasm or other lung disease because of its mass-like performance. The peripherally progressive enhancement on CT has a certain diagnostic value for P\pulmonary actinomycosis.

5.Intrascrotal Dermoid Cyst.
Korean Journal of Urology 1978;19(5):451-454
Dermoid cyst is a benign cystic teratoma consisting of 3 germ cell origin tissues with predominant ectodermal origin and most commonly found in the ovary but rare in the scrotum. We reported two cases of intrascrotal dermoid cysts developed in 7 months and 3 years old boys which were confirmed hiatologically. In one case, the cyst developed from the testis and in another from the paratesticular tissue.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(06):-
Objective To explore the diagnosis and topical treatment of diabetic foot in patients with burns. Methods Sixty-five patients with burns complicated with diabetic foot were admitted from Jan.2002 to Dec.2006.Bacterial culture of wound excretion, peripheral nerve electromyography and vascular ultrasonography of both lower extremities were performed in a part of patients.Twenty-four patients received topical treatment, including immersion bath with hypertonic saline solution and the application of epidermal growth factor, fibroblast growth factor and complex lysozyme disinfectant.Forty-one patients underwent surgical treatment. The operation methods, surgical treatment included debridement followed by direct closure,split-thickness skin grafting, repair with local skin flap or cross leg skin flap,or amputation of foot,as determined according to the condition of the wound. Results The positive rate of bacterial culture of wound excretion was 88.7%(47/53)on admission and 30.2%(16/53)one week after topical treatment. There were abnormal findings of peripheral nerve electromyography in all 31 cases.Vascular ultrasonography revealed pathological findings in both lower extremities of all 12 patients with vascular lesion, and 9 in 16 cases without vascular lesion. The lesions in all patients except 2,who were discharged in advance, healed and the cure rate was 96.9%.Conclusion Peripheral nerve electromyography and vascular ultrasonography of both lower extremities are promising auxiliary examinations for the diagnosis of diabetic foot in patients with burns.Topical treatment, which includes immersion bath with hypertonic saline solution and the application of growth factors and complex lysozyme disinfectant,as well as appropriate surgical management, plays an important role in the wound healing.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(12):-
Objective To observe the effect of low molecular weight heparin(LMWH)on hypercoagulability in extensive severe burn patients. Methods 9 patients were assigned as LMWH treatment group(TG),and another 12 burn patients with the similar extent of burn injury admitted in the same period were assigned as routine treatment group(RTG).All the treatments were the same except 5000U LMWH was given via subcutaneous injection per 12 or 6 hours to the TG group for 3-7days.The patients in normal control group(NCG)consisted of patients receiving plastic surgery. The following coagulation parameters were determined before and after the heparin treatment:prothrombin time(PT),thrombin time(TT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),international normalized ratio(INR),fibrinogen(Fib)and platelet(PLT).Results INR,APTT and PLT in both TG and RTG groups were significantly lower compared with that in NCG before treatment, and Fib in two former groups were higher than that in NCG.Compared with those values before treatment,Fib decreased and PLT increased significantly after LMWH treatment in TG.However, there were no significant changes in other parameters in TG after LMWH treatment.Severe side effects such as haemorrhage were not found in patients in TG.Conclusion LMWH could ameliorate hypercoagulability following severe burns.

Objective To study an identified leucine-rich repeats(LRRs)protein,LRR containing 19(LRRC19),and to determine the distribution, localization, and biological function of LRRC19 mRNA expression in spleen cells. Methods Bioinformatics analysis was used to predetermine the structure of LRRC19 gene and protein. The distribution and localization of LRRC19 mRNA expression were detected by hybridization in situ with LRRC19 mRNA specific probes and reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Additionally,the activity of secreted alkaline phosphatase(SEAP)was detected for analyzing the nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-?B)activation in HEK293T cells transfected with the expression vector of LRRC19 in vitro. Results LRRC19 was found to be a transmembrane protein, with 4 LRR motifs,a single transmembrane domain and two phosphorylation sites of casein kinase 2(CK2)at cytoplasmic domain,as analyzed through bioinformatics soft wares.Previous study revealed that LRRC19 without cytoplasmic Toll/IL-1 receptor(TIR)domain could activate NF-?B to enhance the expression of proinflammatory cytokines.LRRC 19 could also be demonstrated by ectopic expression in RAW264.7 cells after transfection with murine LRRC19 expression plasmid pcDNA3.1-V5-LRRC19 indicating that it was a transmembrane protein. In persent study, the results of hybridization in situ and RT-PCR showed that LRRC19 mRNA was expressed in the germinal center and splenic cord of mouse spleen.Additionally,LRRC19 was predominantly expressed in CD5+ lymphocyte, known as B1 cell.In vitro study also indicated that several pathogens might significantly enhance the NF-?B activity of the cells transfected with LRRC19.Conclusion LRRC19 might be a transmembrane receptor, and it may be able to recognize the conserved sequence of pathogens, participate in the induction of cell signaling, activate the NF-?B signal pathway, promote transcription of target genes, and modulate the innate immune response.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the influence of composite transplantation of two kinds of acellular xeno-dermis (pigskin) and micro-autograft on wound healing. Methods Seventy-two Sprague-Dawley rats with full-thickness skin defect on the back were randomly divided into three groups, and then compositt skin I(acellular dermal xeno-matrix+autologous particulate skin +selective acellular xeno-dermis) was adopted to cover the skin defect in the experimental group I, composite skin II(acellular dermal xeno-matrix+autologous particulate skin + glutaraldehyde xeno-skin) was adopted to cover the skin defect in the experimental group II, and auto-particulate skin was adopted in the control group. The area of wound healing and the rates of wound contraction were calculated.Tissue samples were harvested and examined by means of histology, immunohistochemistry and electron microscopy. Results There were continuous epidermis and basement membrane, and the dermal matrix was a kind of matrix with normal structure and organization of collagen and without any cellular components in selective acellular xeno-dermis. There was full differentiation of epithelium, orderly collagen arrange and basal membrane of the skin could be identified by immunohistochemical stain in compound skin grafting group I. The healing effect of compound skin grafting group I was better than compound skin grafting group II and auto-particulate skin grafting group. Conclusion The composite grafts constructed by selective acellular xeno-dermis (pigskin) could be a potential new type of composite skin substitute for the repair of full-thickness skin defect.
