Introduction: There is an increasing need to study traditional medical sourcebooks and explanatory materials to enrich and develop medical concepts and clinical practices. Objectives: To study Mongolians contribution of nomenclature, origin andclassification of precious medicine using traditional medical sourcebooks and explanatory materials. Results and conclusion: The sourcebook “The Four Medical Tantras”written 10 type of jewel and the sourcebook “Em tanikh ukhaan”hadreferred mentioned above brass and plumbum.
