Long noncoding RNA ( lncRNA) is a functional RNA molecule longer than 200 nucleotides.They are involved in epigenetic, transcriptional and post-transcriptional modifications, playing an important role in gene expres-sion, chromatin remodeling, histone modification, X chromosome inactivation, genomic imprinting, protein folding and ac-tivity as well as other important biological events.Some studies have proven that lncRNAs are involved in the development of metabolic diseases.The changes of their expression levels may be new diagnostic markers and therapeutic targets.

DNA methylation is part of the epigenetic modification process,which can lead to aberrant gene expression. Cytochrome P450 enzyme,cyclooxygenase,lipoxygenase and monoamine oxidase are a class of enzymes produced by human tissues,which are involved in the oxidization pro?cess of endogenous and exogenous chemicals. The methylation patterns of these enzyme genes are dif?ferent between normal tissues and pathological ones. Abnormal methylation patterns will change en?zymes′expression and function,and affect the occurrence and development of diseases. This paper re?viewed the characteristic changes of four oxidative metabolic enzyme genes in certain diseased tis?sues,the impact on methylation status of the metabolic activity of chemicals and on human health. It is hoped that this review can provide a new theoretical basis for the study on the toxic mechanism of chemicals and for diagnosis of diseases.

Objective To review the complications after endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) of high-risk abdominal aortic aneurysms in our medical center.Methods Fifty eight elective high-risk EVAR cases from January 2008 to December 2013 were analyzed retrospectively.Results The technical success rate was 96.6％ (56 of 58 patients).The overall complication rate in perioperative period was 32.8％ (19/58).Eleven systemic complications (19.0％),16 primary endoleaks (27.6％),7 access of site complications(12.1％) were observed.The follow-up rate was 86.2％ (51/58).During the follow up period,the mortality was 7.8％ (4/51),the re-intervention rate was 7.8％ (4/51).The overall complication rate was 29.4％ (15/51),including systemic complications (2/51),secondary endoleak (9.8％) and graft-related complications (11.8％,6/51).Conclusions Endoleak,graft-related complications continue to be the main causes of re-intervention in high-risk aneurysm patients after EVAR.

Objective:To find absorbable adhesives with suitable bonding properties for the absorbable polylactic acid root canal post. To test and compare the bond strengths of absorbable polylactic acid root canal post with three different adhesives. Methods:The absorbable polylactic acid root canal posts were used to restore the extracted teeth, using 3 different adhesives: cyanoacrylates, fibrin sealant and glass ionomer cement. The teeth were prepared into slices for micro-push-out test. The bond strength was statistically analyzed using ANOVA. The specimens were examined using microscope and the failure mode was divided into four categories:cohesive failure between absorbable polylactic acid root canal posts and adhesives, cohesive failure between dentin and adhesives, failure within the adhesives and failure within the absorbable polylactic acid root canal posts. Results:The bond strength of cyanoacrylates [(16. 83 ± 6. 97) MPa] and glass ionomer cement [(12. 10 ± 5. 09) MPa] were significantly higher than fibrin sealant [ ( 1 . 17 ± 0 . 50 ) MPa ] , P <0 . 001 . There was no significant difference between cyanoacrylates and glass ionomer cement (P =0. 156). In the group of cyanoacrylates, the cohesive failure between the absorbable polylactic acid root canal posts and the adhesives was 25 . 0%, the cohe-sive failure between the dentin and the adhesives was 16. 7%, the failure within the adhesives was 33. 3%, and the failure within the absorbable polylactic acid root canal posts was 25 . 0%. In the group of fibrin sealant , the cohesive failure between the absorbable polylactic acid root canal posts and the adhesives was 66 . 7%, the cohesive failure between the dentin and the adhesives was 22 . 2%, the failure within the ad-hesives was 11. 1%. In the group of glass ionomer cement, the cohesive failure between the absorbablepolylactic acid root canal posts and the adhesives was 87. 5%, the failure within the adhesives was 12. 5%. The major failure mode in fibrin sealant and glass ionomer cement was the cohesive failure between the absorbable polylactic acid root canal posts and the adhesives. No major failure modes were found in the group of cyanoacrylates. Conclusion:The bond strength of fibrin sealant is low, which cannot meet the requirement of clinical use. The bond strengths of cyanoacrylates and glass ionomer cement are suitable for clinical use. The cyanoacrylates are a kind of absorbable adhesive which has suitable bonding proper-ties for the absorbable polylactic acid root canal post.

Objective To explore the outcomes of surgery of hip fracture in elderly pafienta aged equal or greater than 80 years old.Method The data of totally 132 patients with hip fracture aged equal or greater than 80 years old were treated with surgery between January 2004 and December 2008 was analyzed retrospectively Results Of 132 cases,68 cases were femoral neck fracture,while 64 cases were intertroehanteric fracture.The average in.hospital time waft(17.2±4.6)d,and 2 cases died of cerebral embolism and respiratory dysfunction in perioperative period respectively.One hundred and eight cases were followed up for 6 months to 5 yeats,with an average of 3.2 years.According to Harris hip scores,the average score of femoral neck fracture at 1 year and at 2 years postoperatively were(77.6±10.2),(77.3±9.3)scores,respectively;while intertrochantefic fracture at 1 year and at 2 years postoperatively were(84.6±9.8),(83.9±10.1)scores,respectively.Conclusions Aged patients with hip fracture should receivesurgical treatment as early as possible.The reasonable perioperative treatment and operative method are the keys to gain good outcomes.

Objective To study the drug resistance of neonatal sepsis caused by Klebsiella pneumoniae and provide evidence for drug treatment. Method Retrospectively analysis was conducted on the clinical data and antibiotic resistance of Klebsiella pneumoniae in 50 neonates with sepsis. Results The majority of the 50 cases were infected in hospital. There were 13 ESBLs strains in 50 Klebsiella pneumoniae strains (26%), and the others were negative ESBLs starins (74%). All the strains were multidrug-resistance to the β-lactam antibiotics and only sensitive to few antibiotics such as Imipenem and Amikacin. The sensitive rate was 100%. Conclusions The first selected antibiotic for the treatment of neonatal sepsis caused by Klebsiella pnemoniae was Imipenem or Amikacin.

Restriction site amplification polymorphism (RSAP) markers were employed to access the genetic diversity and relationship of 120 lilyturf germplasms from different geographical origins. Sixteen RSAP primer pairs generated 326 polymorphic bands, of which 318 (97.55%) were polymorphic. The value of polymorphism information content (PIC) ranged from 0.87 to 0.95 with an average of 0.92. These results indicated there was abundant genetic diversity among samples. The results of data analysis on 20 population showed that the value of percentage of polymorphic locus (PPL), Nei's gene diversity (H) and Shannon's information index (I) were 19.94%-85.58%, 0.082 6-0.210 7, 0.120 6-0.328 1 respectively. The most abundant genetic diversity was found in the O. japonicus population from Zhejiang and the least in the Liriope minor population. The genetic distance among 20 population was 0.024 6-0.286 8, of which the minimum genetic distance was 0.024 6 between population I and population 13 while the maximum 0.286 8 between population 5 and population 15. Coefficient of genetic differentiation among natural populations was 0.115 3 (Gst). And the gene differentiation contributed to 43.07% of the total genetic variation among populations and to 56.93% within populations. The total gene flow (Nm) was 0.660 9. UPMGA clustering analysis was basically similar to of the principle coordinate analysis (PCA). The 120 samples were classified into four major groups, which were basically corresponded with the genetic relationships based on morphological traits. The results of UPMGA and PCA were also consistent with geographical origins.

Drought stress exerts a considerable effect on growth, physiology and secondary metabolisms of the medicinal plants. It could inhabit the growth of the medicinal plants but promote secretion of secondary metabolites. Other researches indicated that the medicinal plants could depend on the ABA signaling pathway and secreting osmotic substances to resist the drought stress and reduce the damage by it. The article concludes the changes in growth, physiology, secondary metabolisms and response mechanisms of medicinal plants to drought stress that provides a theoretical basis for exploring the relationship between medicinal plants and drought stress.

Aim: To explore the mechanism of the effects of sanguinarine on the proliferation, invasion and cell cycle of gastric cancer cells. Methods: MTT assay was used to detect the inhibitory effect of sangui-narine(3, 6, 9 μmol · L-1) on the cell viability of gastric cancer SGC-7901 cells. Wound healing and flow cytometry were applied to detect cell migration and cell cycle respectively. Western blot was employed to determine the protein expression levels of migration and cell cycle related proteins MMP-2, MMP-9, cyclin Dl, CDK4, and pi 6. Results: Compared with control group, the cell viability decreased significantly with the increase of drug concentration after 24 h treatment (P < 0. 05). Flow cytometry results showed that the proportion of cells in Gl phase after treatment with 3, 6, 9 μmol · L-1 of sanguinarine significantly increased (P < 0. 05). Wound healing results indicated that the migration ability of gastric cancer cells was significantly inhibited after sanguinarine treatment. After sanguinarine treatment, the protein expression levels of MMP-2, MMP-9, cyclin Dl and CDK4 were significantly down-regulated (P < 0. 05), whereas the protein expression level of pi 6 was significandy up-regulated (P < 0. 05). Conclusions: Sanguinarine significantly inhibits the proliferation, reduces the migration ability of cells, induces cell arrest in Gl phase, and its anticancer effect is related to its regulation of MMP-2, MMP-9, cyclin Dl, CDK4 and p16.

To analyze the structural characteristics of the Rap2B gene from Clonorchis sinensis by bioinformatics and to clone and express this gene through genetic engineering methods in order to obtain the corresponding recombinant protein.The structural and functional characteristics of the Rap2B protein were analyzed by using the related bioinformatic softwares. Using the full-length cDNA plasmid clone (Noc009e03) as template , the coding region of Rap2B gene sequence was amplified with PCR and cloned into the prokaryotic expression vector pET-28a(+) and then expressed in E.coli BL21 through IPIG induction. The recombinant protein expressed was purified by Ni-IDA affinity chromatography and detected by SDS-PAGE and Western blotting. It was demonstrated that the size of this gene was 847 bp in length, encoding 141 amino acids and its theoretical molecular weight was 15851.1 daltons. As demonstrated by PCR, double enzyme digestion and DNA sequencing, the recombinant expression plasmid pET-28a(+)-Rap2B was successively constructed and the Rap2B-like gene was highly expressed in E.coli BL21. The recombinant protein was obtained through purification with His affinity chromatography and could react specifically with the serum of rats infected with C.sinensis. Through these investigations, the Rap2B protein may be predicted as a member of the Ras oncogene family protein and is potential in the carcinogenic process of C.sinensis.
