1.Treatment of Apoplectic Sequela with Eye Acupuncture in Cooperation with Scalp Acupuncture

Acupuncture was performed at points in the upper-jiao and lower-jiao areas of two eyes and scalp acupuncture, in the motor area on the healthy side. Thirty-four patients with apoplectic sequela were treated. The total efficacy rate was 97.0%.
2.Role of ultrasonic three -dimensional speckle tracking imaging in assessment left ventricular systolic function in patients with uremia before and after hemodialysis

Objective To assess the left ventricular global systolic function changes using ultrasonic three -dimensional speckle tracking imaging (3 D -STI )in patients with uremia undergoing high -flux hemodialysis (HFHD)treatment.Methods 86 patients with uremia and 59 healthy volunteers were selected.Participants of control group underwent plasma brain natrinuretic peptide(BNP)examinations before 3D -STI examinations.All the uremia patients received HFHD therapy,and underwent BNP and 3D -STI examinations before and after 4 weeks HFHD therapy.Parameters of left ventricular three dimensional global area strain(GAS),global circumferential strain (GCS),global longitudinal strain(GLS)and global radial strain(GRS)were measured in each group.The correlation between each 3D -STI parameters and BNP level were analyzed.Results Compared with the control group,GAS, GCS,GLS and GRS of left ventricular were significantly lower(t =7.564,6.866,7.946,5.477,all P <0.05)and BNP level in the control group were significantly higher in the uremia group[(60.75 ±17.22)ng/L vs.(792.68 ± 184.56)ng/L,t =30.876,P <0.05].After HFHD therapy 4 weeks,GAS,GCS,GLS and GRS of left ventricular were significantly higher(t =4.233,5.933,6.546,2.959,all P <0.05)and BNP level were lower(t =27.533,P <0.05) than before treatment in the uremia group.GAS,GCS,GLS and GRS of left ventricular were negatively correlated with BNP level(r =-0.51,0.64,-0.46,-0.43,all P <0.05).Conclusion 3D -STI can accurately evaluate the changes of left ventricular global systolic function in patients with uremia before and after hemodialysis,and provide reliable basis for clinical treatment and efficacy assessment.

To understand the continuing medical education status of Beijing Shijitan Hospital,so as to continue to reform and improve the teaching management of continuing medical education.,literature and information retrieval methods were used and relevant personnel was interviewed about the content,form,time and suggestions of continuing medical education.The results indicate the presence of training content is too wide,training methods are too simple,and there is lack of medical humanities quality training and other issues in continuing medical education.Variety of training methods should be increased,the quality of medical humanities education and training should be enhanced,featured training should be developed to make the continuing medical education more scientific,standardized and highly efficient.
4.Effects of sinomenine on the psychic dependence on morphine and the brain cyclic AMP level in mice

AIM To explore the effects of sinomenine (Sin) on psychic dependence induced by morphine (Mor) in mice and its relation to the cAMP content of the cerebral cortex. METHODS A biased procedure induced the strong place preference. The effect of Sin (10, 30, 60 mg?kg -1 , ip) on the rewarding property of morphine was observed in a conditioned place preference(CPP) paradigm in mice,at the same time, the change of cAMP content in cerebral cortex was measured by the radioimmunoassay(RIA). RESULTS Sin significantly shortened the time of staying in morphine-pair compartment and lowered the cAMP level of mice. CONCLUSION Sin could attenuate effects of psychical dependence induced by Mor, its mechanism may be related to decrease of cAMP level in the brain, and Sin did not display psychical dependence in the experiment.
5.Intravenous Immune Globulin Therapy For 14 Cases of Rh Hemolytic Disease of Newborn

Objective To observe the effect of intravenous immune globulin (IVIG) therapy on newborn infants of Rh hemolytic disease. Methods IVIG group (n=14) received conventional treatments including albumin administration and phototherapy with additional IVIG therapy at a daily dose of 400 mg/kg given for 1~5 consecutive days,and control group (n=16) only received conventional treatments. Effects were compared between the two groups. Result There were 25 patients with hyperbilirubinemia caused by Rh hemolytic disease received exchange transfusions. IVIG was infused in 12 cases,100% of them had the total serum bilirubin level dropped down during the treatment before the exchange transfusions, vs 5 (38%) of 13 cases in control group (P
6.The Therapeutic Effects of Different High Doses of IVIG on 48 Newborn Infants with Severe ABO Hemolytic Disease

Objective To observe the therapeutic effects of intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) between the higher dose (1 g/kg) and the lower dose (400 mg/(kg?d)1~3 d) for severe ABO hemolytic disease of newborn. Methods 48 term infants with severe hyperbilirubinemia receiving IVIG were divided into 2 groups. 24 cases in group A with higher dose, while 24 cases in group B with lower dose, another 20 cases without IVIG in the control group C. Phototherapy were used concomitantly for all infants in these 3 groups. The days of life on admission, the days of jaundice appearance, and the peak of serum bilirubin concentration (TB) in each group were macthed. The theraputic effects in TB reduced between each group were compared. Results The infants admitted on the 1st day of life in group A,B,and C were 11, 11, and 8 cases respectively, the range of TB(MTB) in the 3 groups were 230~237?mol/L (13.5~13.9 mg/dl). ObjectiveTo investigate the influence of aging and castration on the density of andro gen receptor(AR) in the male rat heart. MethodsAR in the heart of rats aged 40d,90d(intact and castrated) and 2 years were demonstrated by means of immunohistochemical technique and the den sity of the positive staining was measured by using image analys is. The optical density of AR in the septum of the rats were analyzed by anova and doncan process of the SAS data analysis system. Re sultsOD(AR) of the group aged 2 years was higher than that of the groups aged 40d and 90d (0. 3550±0. 0077,0. 31080. 0264 and 0. 3149±0. 0200 respectively), thetwolattergroups showed similarly intensive staining, while the value of castrated group(0. 4136±0. 0320) was signif icantly greater than that of intact same aged group. Conclusion The development of sexual gland has little influence in the density of AR in the male rat heart during prepuberty to adult, both old age and castration increase the density of AR in the rat heart.
8.Comparison of real-time contrast-enhanced ultrasound and ultrasonography in the diagnosis and staging of cervical cancer

Objective To explore the clinical value of real-time contrast-enhanced ultrasonography and ultrasonography in the diagnosis and staging of cervical cancer.Methods 80 cervical cancer patients were selected as the research subjects,they were randomly divided into two groups.40 patients in the observation group received real time contrast-enhanced ultrasound,40 cases of the control group received conventional ultrasonography.The detection rate,diagnosis of cervical cancer,cervical cancer tissue and normal tissue parameters were compared between the two groups.Results 35 patients were detected in the observation group,the detection rate was 87.5%,23 patients were detected in the control group,the detection rate was 57.5%,the detection rate of the observation group was significantly higher than the control group (x2=9.028,P=0.002).In the observation group,7 patients in stage Ⅰ(17.5%),1 case in the control group (2.5%),there was significant difference between the two groups (x2=5.000,P=0.025),the differences in phase Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ were not statistically significant(P>0.05).In observation group,the peak intensity of cervical cancer was (65.43±10.55)%,and the peak time was (22.09±2.82)min,the peak intensity of normal tissue was (58.21±14.12)%,peak time was (28.27±3.01)min,the peak intensity of cervical cancer was higher than normal tissue,the peak time was shorter than normal tissues,the differences were statistically significant(t=2.590,9.476,all P<0.05).The differences of the area under the curve and the average transit time between normal tissue and cervical cancer tissue were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Compared with conventional ultrasonography,the contrast-enhanced ultrasonography can clearly show the range of tumor,quantitative analysis of time intensity curve parameters,can better reflect the characteristics of cervical cancer lesions,can improve the diagnostic rate and clear clinical stage.
9.Regulating Effect of Acupuncture at Fengchi (GB20) and Extraordinary Points on TNF-?and ET in Hypertension

ObjectiveToobserve the regulating effect of acupuncture at Fengchi (GB20) and extraordinary points on tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-aand endothelin (ET) in hypertension.MethodTotally 150 patients with hypertension were randomized into two groups at a ratio of 1:1.In the control group, 75 subjects were intervened by acupuncture at bilateral Fengchi; in the treatment group, 75 subjects were intervened by acupuncture at bilateral Fengchi plus extraordinary points. The needles were manipulated once every 10 min duringthe 30-min session. The treatment was given once per day, 2 weeks as a treatment course. ResultDuring the intervention, the TNF-aand ET contents were decreased significantly in the treatment group (P<0.05); the TNF-aand ET contents were also decreased in the control group but without statistical significance (P>0.05). After 1 treatment course, the TNF-aand ET contents were decreased significantly in the treatment group (P<0.05); the TNF-aand ET contents were insignificantly decreased in the control group (P>0.05); there was a significant difference in comparing the TNF-aand ET contents between the two groups (P<0.05). There were also significant differences in comparing the TNF-aand ET contents inhypertension of various degrees between the two groups (P<0.01). The results showed that the TNF-aand ET contents in patients intervened by acupuncture at Fengchiand extraordinary points were lower than that in those intervened by acupuncture at Fengchialone, i.e. combination of Fengchi and extraordinary points produces a significant effect on regulating TNF-aand ET contents.Conclusion Acupuncture at Fengchi and extraordinary points can produce a more significant effect than acupuncture at Fengchi alone on regulating TNF-aand ET in patients with hypertension.
10.Promoting effect of botulinum neurotoxin serotype A heavy chain on neu-ritogenesis in cultured Neuro-2a cells

AIM:To observe the neuritogenic actions of botulinum neurotoxin serotype A heavy chain ( BoNT/A HC) on cultured Neuro-2a cells and to investigate the related signaling mechanisms for the effect of BoNT /A HC. METHODS:Neuro-2a cells were treated with different doses of BoNT/A HC (0.01, 0.1, 1 and 10 nmol/L), and then the cells were harvested at 24 h, 48 h and 72 h of BoNT/A HC exposure for detecting the neurite length and the percen-tage of the cells with neuronal processes by immunofluorescence staining .The most efficient dose of BoNT/A HC was cho-sen for exposure to Neuro-2a cells as the above.Whole cell protein was harvested at different time points for detecting the protein levels of phosphorylated ERK 1/2 ( p-ERK1/2 ) and phosphorylated Akt ( p-Akt ) by Western blot .RESULTS:Low doses of BoNT/A HC stimulated the neurite outgrowth , and increased the percentage of the cells with neurites com-pared with the negative controls (P<0.05), especially in the group with 1 nmol/L of BoNT/A HC treatment.Meanwhile, the phosphorylation of ERK 1/2 and Akt was increased after treated with BoNT/A HC.There was an increasing tendency for the phosphorylation of ERK1/2 after the exposure of the cells to BoNT/A HC.The obvious increase in p-ERK1/2 was seen from 60 min to 5 h with 1 nmol/L of BoNT/A HC treatment ( P<0.05 ) , and the increased protein level of p-Akt was mainly observed at 15 min and 60 min ( P<0.05 ) .CONCLUSION: BoNT/A HC stimulates the neuritogenesis .The neuritogenic mechanism of BoNT/A HC on Neuro-2a cells might be realized by activation of the phosphorylation of ERK 1/2 and Akt.
