Objective: To investigate the trends in incidence and mortality of lung cancer in Kaihua County, Zhejiang Province from 2011 to 2022, so as to provide insights into improving lung cancer prevention and control strategy. Methods: The incidence and mortality of lung cancer in Kaihua County from 2011 to 2022 were collected through Zhejiang Provincial Chronic Disease Surveillance Information Management System. The crude incidence, standardized incidence, crude mortality and standardized mortality of lung cancer were analyzed, and the trends in incidence and mortality of lung cancer were evaluated using average annual percent change (AAPC). Results: The crude and standardized incidence of lung cancer appeared a tendency towards an increase (AAPC=5.409% and 2.957%, both P<0.05) from 2011 to 2022, with an average annual crude incidence of 75.17/105 and average annual standardized incidence of 44.37/105. Average annual crude incidence (100.16/105 vs. 48.55/105) and standardized incidence (58.03/105 vs. 30.61/105) of lung cancer was higher in males than in females (both P<0.05). The crude incidence of lung cancer in males appeared a tendency towards an increase (AAPC=2.878%, P<0.05), with no significant changing patterns seen in standardized incidence (P>0.05). The crude and standardized incidence of lung cancer in females showed a tendency towards an increase (AAPC=11.596% and 10.464%, both P<0.05). The crude incidence of lung cancer increased rapidly among residents at ages of 45 years and older, and peaked among residents at ages of 80 to 84 years (32.11/105). The crude and standardized mortality of lung cancer appeared a tendency towards a rise and decline (AAPC=1.554% and -2.491%, both P<0.05) from 2011 to 2022, with an average annual crude and standardized mortality of 52.83/105 and 29.09/105. Average annual crude mortality (77.92/105 vs. 26.10/105) and standardized mortality (43.66/105 vs. 14.33/105) of lung cancer was higher in males than in females (both P<0.05). The crude mortality of lung cancer in males appeared a tendency towards a rise, while the standardized mortality appeared a tendency towards a decline (AAPC=1.436% and -2.553%, both P<0.05). No significant changing patterns were seen in crude and standardized mortality of lung cancer in females (both P>0.05). The crude mortality of lung cancer increased rapidly among residents at ages of 50 years and older, and peaked among residents at ages of 80 to 84 years (37.26/105). Conclusions The incidence and mortality of lung cancer appeared a tendency towards an increase in Kaihua County from 2011 to 2022, and a rapid increase was seen in the incidence of lung cancer in females.

It is still controversial whether total splenectomy on adult animals would affect their immune function. In this study, total splenectomy and different kinds of splenic preservation operations including splenorrhaphy, partial splenectomy and spleen autotransplantation were performed on adult rats after the porta of the spleen of the rats was artificially ruptured and the splenic artery ligated.In the 4th month after the operations, the hemolysin antibody and the de-layed-type hypersensitivity reaction were determined in the rats. It was found that no significant difference occurred in the hemolysin antibody and the delayed type hypersensitivity reaction among the rats of the control group, the group with total splenectomy, and the groups with different kinds of splenic preservation operations.

Objective To determine whether the fixation method of electrode of the improved pediatric video electroencephalogram (VEEG) is better than the traditional fixation method. Methods A total of 746 children patients who needed VEEG monitoring were divided into the experimental group and the control group with random digit table with 373 patients in each group. Improved fixation method and traditional fixation method of electrode were adopted during VEEG monitoring in the experimental group and the control group. The advantage and disadvantage of the two fixation method were compared through evaluation of skin injury of scalp and deltoideus triangularis, electrode loss and electrode breakage. Results The incidence of skin injury of scalp and deltoideus triangularis, electrode loss and electrode breakage in the experimental group were 7, 0, 29, and 12, which were less than 29, 6, 71, and 37 of the control group, the differences were of statistical significance (χ2=14.126, 20.371, 13.652, P<0.01 or 0.05). Conclusions Improved electrode fixation method during pediatric VEEG can avoid skin injury of scalp and deltoideus triangularis, reduce electrode loss and electrode breakage, besides, it also can reduce medical cost and discomfort of children. The modified electrode fixation method proved to be superior to the traditional method and it is worth popularization and application.

Objective To investigate the real emotional experience of the male infertile patients.Method The clinical data of 8 male infertile patients were collected by in-depth interview and analyzed by phenomenologic analysis to investigate their real emotional experience.Result Five themes in related to their emotional experience were concluded,including denial and anxiety, pain and acceptance,shame and isolation,senses of sadness and worthlessness and sexual dysfunction.Conclusions Infertile patients have complex emotional experience deep in their heart.Therefore,the medical staff should take the initiative to understand negative emotions,give effective guidance of positive emotions and provide comprehensive social supports.

Objective To observe the changes of plasma Von Willebrand factor(vWF) content in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) and late lung cancer(LLC) patients with Qi deficiency.Methods The changes of vWF content in 26 COPD patients with Qi deficiency and in 15 LLC patients with Qi deficiency were observed before and after treatment,and were compared with those in 30 healthy volunteers.Results Plasma vWF content before treatment was increased in COPD and LLC patients with Qi deficiency(P0.05).Conclusion Abnormal platelet activation exists in COPD and LLC patients with Qi deficiency,the function of vascular endothelial cells decreases,and the blood is in hypercoagulable state,which accords with the traditional Chinese medical theory of Qi failing in promoting blood circulation.

Objective To investigate whether calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP) can influence the proliferation and phenotypic modulation of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs),and what is the relationship between them. Methods Vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs) were cultured respectively with rat aorta cultivated for 8 days in vitro and with normal aorta(not culture) through the explant-attached method,and CGRP was added into the culture medium of the experimental groups.The proliferation of cells was labeled by 5-bromodeoxyuridine(5-BrdU) with immunocytochemical method,and the mRNA expression of hypertension-related gene-1(HRG-1) and smooth muscle 22 alpha(SM22?) were determined by RT-PCR. Results The proliferating cells labeled by BrDU from the aorta cultured for 8 days in vitro were increased notablly and the mRNA expression of HRG-1 and SM22? were decreased.While the VSMCs were cultured in the culture medium containing CGRP,the proliferous cells labeled by BrdU were obviously decreased and the mRNA expression of HRG-1 and SM22? were significantly increased.Conclusion It is showed that CGRP could inhibit the proliferation of VSMCs and change the phenotype of VSMCs from synthesize to contractile type.It might be a good cellular model which provides a good experimental platform to research the proliferating vascular disease as well as its prevention and treatment.

Objective To analyzed the left ventricular (LV) regional and global strains in coronary artery stenosis by using three-dimensional speckle tracking imaging (3D-STI) and two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging (2D-STI) for the assessment of left ventricular systolic function,and to compare the clinical values between 3D-STI and 2D-STI in the detection of coronary stenosis.Methods 39 patients with coronary artery stenosis and 32 sex-age matched controls were enrolled in this study.Coronary artery stenosis group was divided into ischemic group and non-ischemic group.Real-time three dimensional full volume and two-dimensional dynamic image of the LV were obtained and then analyzed by off-line analysis software.The parameters of 3D-STI were three-dimensional longitudinal strain (3D-LS),circumferential strain (3D-CS),radial strain (3D-RS),area strain (3D-AS),global longitudinal strain (3D-GLS),global circumferential train (3D-GCS),global radial strain (3D-GRS) and global area strain (3D-GAS).The parameters of 2D-STI were two-dimensional longitudinal strain (2D-LS),circumferential strain (2D-CS),radial strain (2D-RS),global longitudinal strain (2D-GLS),global circumferential train (2D-GCS) and global radial strain (2D-GRS).The global/regional strains derived from 3D-STI and 2D-STI in patient group and controls were analyzed for comparing their efficacy in detecting coronary artery stenosis.Results Compared with non-ischemic group,2D-LS,2D-CS,3D-LS,3D-CS and 3D-AS were lower in ischemic group (P ＜0.05).ROC curves showed the sensitivity of 2D-LS,3D-LS and 3D-AS for the diagnosis of myocardial ischemia was 60.1％,64.2 ％ and 74.0 ％,while the specificity of them was 60.0％,61.0％ and 63.1％,respectively.There was no significant difference in 2D-GCS and 2D-GRS between coronary artery stenosis group and control group (P ＞ 0.05).Compared with control group,2D-GLS,3D-GLS,3D-GCS,3D-GRS and 3D-GAS were significantly lower in coronary artery stenosis group (P ＜0.05).ROC curves showed the sensitivity of 2D-GLS,3D-GLS and 3D-GAS in the diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis was 61.3％,73.3％ and 79.3 ％,while the specificity was 65.4％,66.0 ％ and 70.8 ％,respectively.The sensitivity and specificity of 3D-GAS were the highest in these parameters.It is revealed that 2D-GLS,2D-GCS and 2D-GRS were correlated with LVEF (r1 =-0.668,P1 ＜0.001 ;r2 =-0.551,P2 ＜0.001 ;r3 =0.310,P3 ＜0.05),and 3D-GLS,3D-GCS,3D-GRS,3D-GAS were correlated with LVEF (r1 =-0.634,P1 ＜0.001 ;r2 =-0.672,P2＜0.001 ;r3 =0.698,P3＜0.001 ;r4 =-0.707,P4＜0.001).The correlate of 3D-GAS and LVEF was higher than other parameters.Conclusions 3D-STI is superior to 2D-STI in assessing regional and global left ventricular systolic function in patients with coronary artery stenosis,and 3D-GAS derived from 3D-STI is a ideal parameter of detecting significant coronary artery stenosis based on its highest sensitivity and specificity.

Supported by the offline hospital, this campus made full use of Internet features and advantages in its attempts to optimize the distribution of medical resources,to improve the accessibility of medical service, to reduce medical costs, and to expand the service coverage among others. Meanwhile,this online system, via interconnection with the hospital′s HIS system, achieved online medical insurance payment,prescriptions checking and drug delivery service.

Objective:To evaluate the relationship betweenparacardial adipose tissue (PAT) volume, body mass index (BMI) and severe coronary artery stenosis in young people by quantitative measurement of 256-slice spiral CT.
Methods: A total of 150 patients younger than 45 years and received coronary angiography (CAG) in our hospital were divided into 2 groups:Lesion group, the patients with severe main coronary branch stenosis and Control group, patients with normal coronary artery. n=75 in each group. The height, body weight and BMI were recorded in all patients;imaging data was uploaded to the workstation to calculate the volumes ofepicardiumadipose tissue (EAT) volume,pericardial outsideadipose tissue volume and PAT volume, the correlation among 3 parameters were analyzed respectively.
Results:Compared with Control group, Lesion group had increased BMI (28.169±2.203) kg/m2 vs (24.960±3.041) kg/m2 and PAT volume (178.676±3.041) ml vs (99.0616±3.041) ml, all P<0.05. Compared with Control group,no matter male or female, Lesion group had larger PAT volume, P<0.01.EAT volume was related to pericardial outside adipose tissue volume (r=0.837, P<0.001) and PAT volume (r=0.971, P<0.001);pericardial outside adipose tissue volume was related to PAT volume (r=0.944, P<0.001).
Conclusion:PAT volume and BMI were obviously correlated to severe coronary artery stenosis in young people.
