International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2009;31(5):427-
Objective To study the clinical effect of JingFang QingRe Powder treating infantile common cold by syndrome differentiation. Methods 80 patients were randomly recruited into a treatment group and a control group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was taken with conventional western medicines, while the treatment group was taken with modified JingFang QingRe powder. Results Both groups shared the same effective rate of 85.0%. But the side effects in the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group (P< 0.05 ) . Conclusion It is ideal to treat the infantile common cold with traditional Chinese medicines in terms of both clinical effects and adverse effects.

Objective To research the function of hypoglycemic and antiobesity of L-Arabinose in New Zealand rabbit. Methods Thirty-two New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into 4 groups, 8 rabbits in each group. The control group was fed with high fat and high sucrose diet only. L-Arabinose group was fed with high fat and high sucrose diet along with L-Arabinose, the dosage were 0.308 5, 0.617, 0.925 5 g/kg respectively. After fed for two months, all groups were given L-Arabinose, and blood glucose was detected after orally given sucrose 0, 0.5, 2 h. After intervention of L-Arabinose for one month, the data of weight, food intake, stool quantity and the fat index were observed. Results L-Arabinose decreased significantly sucrose absorption, lower the fasting glucose level and the data of area-under-curve (AUC) significantly. Conclusion L-Arabinose proved to be highly effective in preventing the rise of circulating glucose and fat.

OBJECTIVE To inquire into the risk factors of uremia patients with fungus infection and search for the effective methods to prevent and control it.METHODS All the cases of the 82 uremia patients with fungus infection in the clinic of our hospital were analyzed.RESULTS The sites of the fungus infection were intestines and stomach, blood vessel, respiratory tract, oral cavity, reproductive tract, skin soft tissue and urinary tract. The common fungus infection was Candida albicans, about 60.61 per cent. The risk factors of uremia patients with fungus infection were the old age, several underlying diseases, hypoimmunity, not using medicine properly during the treatment and invasive operation.CONCLUSIONS The effective methods to prevent and control fungus infection are as the follows: to improve the staff′s awareness of the danger of fungus infection,be strict to the rules of hospital isolation and sterilization, and be try to reduce invasive operation. We should strengthen the cleaning of the wards and the crew's hands, strengthen the monitoring of quality and pay more attention to the primary treatment. We should use the medicine properly, especially the use of antibiotics, immune suppressants and hormones, and pay attention to result of culture from the microbiological laboratory. We should cure the underlying diseases actively and improve the suffers′ immunity function.

In the recent years, infringement on patients' privacy in medical activities is drawing wider attention. In medical practice there exit some common phenomena of this kind, such as some medical staff spreading the information of medical record to irrelevant people, going beyond their duty to pry into or deliberately disclose patients privacy, intentionally harass of directly intrude upon patients' private parts, etc. These problems can be gradually reduced or avioded by strengthening medical staff's awareness of self-discipline,offering related education and advice to patients, and perfecting relevant laws and regulations.

Taizhou Enze Medical Center (Group) made worthwhile attempts in the decentralized and centralized financial management,in an effort to build a centralized mode featuring department setup, information management, funding management, centralized accouting, and cost-performance settlement.Centralized financial management is a trend change in the management of large medical groups, but the changes in the financial management of its complexity and long-term,are associated with the group's overall reform needs, which need to be amended and improved constantly in practice.

Objective To comprehensively analyze the effect and various detection indicators of leucocyte depletion suspended red blood cells(RBC) prepared by different storage time and different manufacturers of leucocyte depletion instrument to provide some decision-making basis for peers .Methods Two hundreds and forty bags of suspended RBC(1 ,1 .5 ,2 U) prepared from whole blood by 4 manufacturers were randomly collected and preserved in (4 ± 2)℃ dedicated refrigerator according to different specifica-tions .Then the sterile quick-release connector was used to take 240 leucocyte depletion suspended RBC samples of same specifica-tions and different shelf lives of 0 ,7 ,14 ,21 ,28 ,35 d by different manufacturers .Their capacity ,hematocrit ,leukocyte residues ,plas-ma free hemoglobin content and hemoglobin content were detected ,and the hemolysis rate at the end of shelf life was calculated .Re-sults The effect of leucocyte depletion suspended RBC by the same manufacturer had no statistical difference among different spec-ifications (P>0 .05);the capacity and plasma free hemoglobin content in the same specification had statistical difference among difference among different manufacturers (P<0 .05);the free hemoglobin and hemolysis rate at the end of shelf life in the same manufacturer had statistical difference among different preserving time (P<0 .05) .Conclusion By comprehensive considering the results of indexes of capacity ,hematocrit ,filter time ,free hemoglobin content and hemolysis rate ,our station chose the Shandong Weigao and Fresenius disposable leucocyte depletion plastic bags for ensuring the leucocyte depletion effect ,and safety and efficacy of RBC transfusion .

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2011;10(11):827-829
Based on the results of oral glucose tolerance test( OGTT )and the levels of 1-h plasma glucose ( 1 hPG),793 subjects were classified into three groups:583 with NGTN ( normal 1 hPG in OGTT),127 with NGT1 H( higher 1 hPG in OGTT) and 83 with IGT( impaired glucose tolerance).NGT1H group had large waist circumference, higher body mass index, fasting plasma glucose( FPG),triglyceride, and lower high density lipoprotein-cholesterol than those of NGTN group.NGT1 H group had higher homeostasis model assessment insulin index ( 1.2 ± 0.6),lower homeostasis model assessment β3 ( HOMA-β ) (4.5 ± 0.7 ) and insulinogenic index (2.1 ±0.7) than those of NGTN group(0.5 ±0.6,4.8 ±0.7,2.7 ±0.9,respectively,all P <0.05 ).HOMA-β of NGT1 H group was higher than that of IGT group(4.5 ±0.7 vs.4.4 ±0.6,P <0.05 ).The results indicate that 1 hPG in OGTT may identify a condition of glucose metabolic abnormalities characterized by insulin resistance and reduced β-cell function.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(06):-
Objective: To explore the potential influencing factors of the quality guidelines for medical treatment by factor analysis.Method: We analyzed with the SPSS package 9 quality guidelines for medical treatment in the department of integrated TCM and Western medicine of a hospital, including the out-patient person-time,the number of discharges, the average days of hospitalization, the rate of bed utilization, the frequency of bed rotation, the rate of cure and improvement, the case fatality rate, the coincidence rate of diagnoses at admission and discharge, and the success rate of emergency treatment. Results: Four common factors were extracted, namely, the quantifiable factor, determined by the out-patient person-time,the number of discharges, the average days of hospitalization and the frequency of bed rotation;the treatment factor, determined by the cure and improvement rate and case fatality rate;the diagnostic factor, determined mainly by the rate of bed utilization and the coincidence rate of diagnoses at admission and discharge;and the emergency treatment factor, determined by the success rate of emergency treatment. The cumulative contribution rate of the 4 factors was 85.1%.Conclusion: The amount of medical work, the techniques of treatment, the ability of diagnosis and the efficiency of emergency rescue are the main influencing factors of quality guidelines for medical treatment.
