OBJECTIVE To inquire into the risk factors of uremia patients with fungus infection and search for the effective methods to prevent and control it.METHODS All the cases of the 82 uremia patients with fungus infection in the clinic of our hospital were analyzed.RESULTS The sites of the fungus infection were intestines and stomach, blood vessel, respiratory tract, oral cavity, reproductive tract, skin soft tissue and urinary tract. The common fungus infection was Candida albicans, about 60.61 per cent. The risk factors of uremia patients with fungus infection were the old age, several underlying diseases, hypoimmunity, not using medicine properly during the treatment and invasive operation.CONCLUSIONS The effective methods to prevent and control fungus infection are as the follows: to improve the staff′s awareness of the danger of fungus infection,be strict to the rules of hospital isolation and sterilization, and be try to reduce invasive operation. We should strengthen the cleaning of the wards and the crew's hands, strengthen the monitoring of quality and pay more attention to the primary treatment. We should use the medicine properly, especially the use of antibiotics, immune suppressants and hormones, and pay attention to result of culture from the microbiological laboratory. We should cure the underlying diseases actively and improve the suffers′ immunity function.

Chinese Journal of Forensic Medicine 2002;0(05):-
Objective Explore the feasibility of minute cells STR typing. Methods Minute cells which were obtained by micromanipulation method were amplified with MiniFiler kit,and detected by ABI 3130 genetic analyzer. Results Ten cells can be successfully genotyped.Complete genotyping results can be obtained for one, three or five cells but with stochastic effect. Conclusion Instability is observed in minute cells genotyping,so it can not be used in actual case work.Maybe increase the quantity of DNA template can improve the success rate.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of warm needling in treating neck-back myofasical pain syndrome. Method Sixty patients with neck-back myofasical pain syndrome were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was intervened by warm needling therapy, while the control group was by electroacupuncture. The short-form McGill Pain Questionnaire (SF-MPQ) and Physion MD muscle resistance detector (Japan) were adopted to measure the count of tender points (red points and yellow points), Pain Rating Index (PRI), Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), and Present Pain Intensity (PPI) before and after the treatment, and the clinical efficacies were also compared.Result The total effective rate was 83.3% in the treatment group versus 66.7% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The SF-MPQ scores (PRI, VAS, and PPI scores) were significantly changed in the treatment group after the intervention (P<0.05). In the control group, VAS and PPI scores were significantly changed after the treatment (P<0.05). After treatment, there were significant differences in comparing the SF-MPQ scores between the two groups (P<0.05). The counts of red and yellow tender points were significantly changed in the treatment group after the intervention (P<0.05). The count of red tender points was significantly changed in the control group after the intervention (P<0.05). After the treatment, there were significant differences in comparing the number of red and yellow tender points between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion Warm needling is an effective approach in treating neck-back myofascial pain syndrome.

This study was aimed to prepare solid dispersions of Acanthopanax leaves total flavonoids in order to im-prove its bioavailability. PEG4000, PEG6000, F68, PVPK30 were used as carrier materials in the preparation of four different types of solid dispersion to screen the best type of carrier material and evaluate the amount of carrier mate-rial and its influence on the drug dissolution. Rutin was used as reference substance. NaNO2-Al(NO3)3-NaOH was used as the color system, with a UV spectrophotometer measured absorbance at 500 nm. The dissolution characteris-tics of different proportions of solid dispersions were examined in vitro. The results showed that compared with raw material, the in vitro drug release rate with PVPK30 as carrier material in the obtained solid dispersion of the pro-portion of the raw material was significantly improved, and the cumulative release rate was also increased significant-ly. It was concluded that the solid dispersion prepared by solvent method significantly improved in vitro drug release in water.

Objective To acquire some related data of surgical approach through brain superior temporal sulcus to temporal horn of lateral ventricle by MRI volume rendering, and to orientate the point of superior temporal sulcus on the lateral surface which is closest to temporal horn of lateral ventricle, and to find out the best entrance point of surgical approach through superior temporal sulcus to temporal horn of lateral ventricle. Methods 120 adult cases of MRI scanning specimens were chosen for measurement. MRI volume rendering technology was used to rebuild the brain 3D model for the measurement of the full length of superior temporal sulcus S1 .Then cutting along the prependicular to the direction of the long axis of the temporal lobe with 1.0 mm spacings, the coronal sections were obtained, and the distance from superior temporal sulcus to temporal horn of lateral ventricle was ordinally measured and the shortest distance S2 was made sure. And the depth of superior temporal sulcus S3 was detected. The corresponding point on the surface of the brain at superior temporal sulcus according to the point leading the shortest distance S4 was determined. The ratio of S4 to S1 M was calculated. The angle between the shortest distance and median sagittal plane asαwas determined. All the samples were measured on both sides of the brain and all the data were compared. Results The S1 of the 120 cases was (159.56 ± 17.55)mm on the left and (164.35± 15.07)mm on the right, there was no statistical difference between two cerebral hemispheres(P>0.05);the S2 was (8.18±0.96)mm on the left and (7.81±0.90)mm on the right, there was no statistical difference between two cerebral hemispheres(P>0.05);the S3 was (12.19±1.43)mm on the left and (11.57± 1.33)mm on the right, there was no statistical difference between two cerebral hemispheres(P>0.05);the S4 was (100.88±16.09)mm on the left and (104.15±14.49)mm on the right, there was no statistical difference between two cerebral hemispheres(P>0.05);the M was (0.63 ±0.07)on the left and (0.63 ±0.06)on the right, there was no statistical difference between two cerebral hemispheres(P>0.05);theαwas (55.80±3.64)°on the left and (56.46±4.17)°on the right, there was no statistical difference between two cerebral hemispheres(P>0.05). Conclusion The point at the front side 3/5 of superior temporal sulcus may be the ideal surgical approach entrance point. The distance from the point to temporal horn of lateral ventricle is shortest. It indicates that the approach can reduce the damage of brain tissue.
