Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2005;0(06):-
With the progress of the medical imaging technology, imaging medicine plays an essential role in medical treatment practice, primarily including the imaging equipment and personnel cultivation。This paper presents some opinions on how to combine imaging technology with personnel and bring modern imaging medicine into full play. Imaging medicine progress is also changing our thought on the diagnosis and treatment, and we should accept new technology and adopt new idea,so as to bring many patients new hope.

Objective To study the characters of using the high pressure injector in the contrast CT scanning for children. Methods Summarized the nursing measures of 407 children who had accepted the contrast CT scanning. Results There were 369 children have obtained perfect effects of CT scanning, 35 children have obtained general effects and there were 2 children failure. Conclusion The method of using high pressure injector in the contrast CT scanning for children is convenient, safety and effective.

Objective To investigate the effects of berberine on basolateral calcium-activated potassium current I_K(Ca)and cAMP-activated potassium current I_K(cAMP)and its mechanism in treatment of secretory diarrhea. Methods The intact colonic crypt cells were isolated with EDTA solution. The effects of berberine(50,100,500?mol/L)on I_K(Ca)and I_K(cAMP)were detected by patch clamp technique under the conventional whole cell patch clamp mode. The solution of PSS was served as control. Results Berberine could significantly inhibite I_K(Ca)and I_K(cAMP)of rat colonic crypt cells(both P

OBJECTIVETo compare the difference in clinical efficacy on children attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) between the combined therapy of scalp acupuncture and EGG biofeedback and the simple EEG biofeedback therapy so as to search the better therapeutic method for ADHD.
METHODSOne hundred patients were randomized into an observation group and a control group, 50 cases in each one. In the control group, the simple EEG biofeedback therapy was adopted. In the observation group, on the basis of biofeedback therapy, scalp acupuncture was added and applied to Dingzhongxian (MS 5), Dingpangyixian (MS 8), Baihui (GV 20), Sishencong (EX-HN 1), etc. The ten treatments made one session. After four sessions of treatment, FIQ value in Wechsler intelligence scale, CIH score in Conners children behavior questionnaire, the ratio of 0 wave and p wave in EEG, FRCQ and FAQ in the integrated visual and auditory continuous performance test (IVA-CPT) and clinical comprehensive efficacy were observed before and after treatment in the two groups separately.
RESULTSThree cases were dropped out in the observation group and 2 cases were out in the control group. In the two groups, FIQ, FRCQ and FAQ were all increased after treatment (P < 0.01, P < 0.05); the increases in the observation group were much more significant than those in the control group after treatment (all P < 0.05). In the two groups, CIH score and the ratio of 0 wave and p wave were all reduced after treatment (P < 0.01, P < 0.05); the reduction in the observation group were much more apparent as compared with those in the control group (both P< 0.05). The total effective rate was 91.5% (43/47) in the observation group and better than 83. 3% (40/48, P < 0.01) in the control group.
CONCLUSIONThe combined therapy of scalp acupuncture and EEG biofeedback achieves the superior efficacy on children ADHD as compared with the simple biofeedback therapy. This combined therapy rapidly relieves the essential symptoms of ADHD and improves EEG waveform in children patients. Importantly, this therapy obtains and consolidates the significant efficacy.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(05):-
This review introduced the anti-tumor effects of non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and summarized their possible molecular mechanisms according to recent abroad literatures and our research results. Some evidence showed that the anti-tumor mechanisms of NSAIDs were different in various tumors.NSAIDs decreased the biosynthesis of PGE_2 and regulated the expressions of downstream correlated genes and proteins through restraining abnormal expression of COX-2 in certain neoplasms, which resulted in the inhibition of tumor angiogenesis and proliferation as well as induced apoptosis. But in other cancer cells, NSAIDs, as activators of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor ? (PPAR?), induced COX-2 expression, promoted the biosynthesis of cyclopentenone prostaglandins (cyPGs). cyPGs further induced tumor cell apoptosis with PPAR? dependently or PPAR? independently. Since their special mechanisms of anti-proliferation and pro-apoptosis, NSAIDs revealed significant synergistic effects with other anti-tumor treatments.

Objective To construct the performance evaluation framework for China′s health system, and provide evidences for enhancement of such evaluation and the health system. Methods Literature review and empirical research were combined with expert consultation to construct such an evaluation index system. Results In view of both international experiences and China′s specifics,an evaluation index system is built based on the generalized concept model of the health system, consisting of 4 class-1 indicators, 1 5 class-2 indicators and 6 9 class-3 indicators. Conclusions The generalized framework of health system performance evaluation fits such evaluation in China, and indicator optimization and understanding of the shortcomings with cautious explanation are of critical importance. This evaluation remains in its infancy in China, and there is a long way to go before a health system performance evaluation system can be built in China.
