OBJECTIVETo study the effect of the HSP90 inhibitor, 17-allylamino-17-demethoxygeldanamycin (17-AAG), on cell proliferation and apoptosis of human cancer SGC-7901 cells and explore the mechanisms.
METHODSThe inhibitory effect of 17-AAG on the proliferation and morphology of SGC-7901 cells was assessed with MTT assay and DNA-PI staining, respectively. Flow cytometry was employed to analyze the changes in cell cycle and apoptosis of the cells following 17-AAG exposure. The cellular expression of Fas protein was detected by immunohistochemistry.
RESULTS17-AAG significantly suppressed the proliferation of SGC-7901 cells in a time- and dose-dependent manner. After treatment with 17-AAG for 48 h, SGC-7901 cells showed cell cycle arrested at G(2)/M stage, and the cell apoptosis rate increased with the 17-AAG concentration. The expression of Fas protein in the cytoplasm of SGC-7901 cells increased gradually with the increase of 17-AAG concentration.
CONCLUSION17-AAG can induce apoptosis, alters the cell cycle distribution and up-regulates the expression of Fas protein in SGC-7901 cells to suppress the cell proliferation.

Objective Tdentify what techniques were used to relieve Menière′s disorder and benefits the subjects experienced use these self-help techniques in order to guide the clinical practice. Methods The data of Menière′s disorder patients treated in our hospital from January 2011 to December 2013 was collected. After random sampling, the questionnaire(the extensive questionnaire used included an open-ended question asking about the ways that each individual used to relieve their problems associated with Menière′s disorder)results were analysed use the qualitative analysis. Results Lifestyleaccounted for 58% of the self-help tech-nique responses.Among all the subthemes, increasing exercise in general was the most commonly listed method. Conclusion These techniques can be used as self-help methods for other individuals with Menière′s disorder to enhance their adaptation to the condi-tion.At the same time provide the basis for medical workers to guide patients.

From the treatment of respiratory failure, the method of breathing heliox is presented. This paper introduces the heliox-recirculating respirator based on ADuC848 which realizes PID control of heliox output through the measurements of the pressure in gas path, oxygen concentration, temperature and so on. The electronic measurement & control unit is described in detail.

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2016;38(9):855-858
Polysaccharide is a kind of polymers and composes of monosaccharide molecules. The biological activities of the polysaccharide include the promotion of immunity, anti-tumor, anti-oxidation and anti-aging. The polysaccharide of traditional Chinese medicine has become the research focus due to its safety and low toxicity. Based on the research achievements in recent years, we summarizeds the effects of Herbal Polysaccharides on immune organs, immune cells, immune molecules, and immune regulation mechanism.

Objective To retrospectively investigate the effect of finasteride on bone mineral density in elderly patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).Methods 120 elderly patients with BPH were retrospective studied in our hospital, and grouped into the finasteride group and the control group according to taking finasteride or not.Bone mineral density in all patients was measured by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry at baseline and 12-15 months after follow-up,and peripheral blood was collected for measuring serum biochemical indicators including calcium, phosphorus, creatinine and alkaline phosphatase (ALP).Results There were no significant differences in indexes of bone mineral density, serum calcium, phosphorus, creatinine and ALP between the finasteride group and the control group. Conclusions Finasteride may not increase the risk of osteoporosis in elderly patients with BPH.

Objective To compare the efficacy of carbon nanoparticles suspension and methylene blue for the detection of axillary sentinel lymph nodes in rabbits with breast cancer,to provide a method for the clinical application of treatment of breast cancer. Methods The model of breast cancer was established in 40 rabbits by intramammary injection of VX2 tumor tissue suspension 1ml.The successful model was divided into two groups.Carbon nanoparticles suspension and methylene blue were used in staining sentinel lymph node. The staining time, stain fading time of SLN,number of stained SLN,total number of the stained lymph node and the staining effect were observed. Results The staining time of SLN and number of stained SLN had no significant difference between the 2 groups, total number of the stained lymph nodes was 3.25?0.56 and 2.3?0.21 respectively in carbon nanoparticles suspension group and methylene blue group(t=6.99,P

Objective To explore and analyze the effect of ambroxol hydrochloride combined with budesonide in treatment of children bronchial pneumonia on C-reactive protein level and WBC levels. Methods 100 cases of patients with bronchial pneumonia treated in our hospital from May 2015 to December 2016, were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 50 cases in each group. The control group were given routine treatment, while the observation group were given ambroxol hydrochloride combined with budesonide treatment on the basis of the control group, the course of treatment was 14 days.C-reactive protein and WBC levels were measured before treatment and 14 days after treatment, the Resultswere observed and statistical.ResultsThere were significant differences in the content of CRP between groups and multiple time points(F=11.50, P=0.003;F=4.78, P=0.03;F=5.45, P=0.02).The content of CRP 14 days after treatment in the observation group were significantly lower than the control group(t=14.12,P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant. There were significant differences in the WBC counts between groups and multiple time points(F=11.52, P=0.003;F=4.73, P=0.03;F=5.44, P=0.02),the difference was statistically significant. The count of WBC 14 days after treatment in the observation group after treatment were significantly lower than the control group(t=8.12, P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant. The number of cured, effective and ineffective cases in the control group was 20, 13 and 15, respectively. The observation group was 30, 15, and 5 cases, respectively.By rank sum test, the difference of the effective rate between the 2 groups was statistically significant(u=2.33, P<0.05).And the total effective rate in observation group was 90.0%, which was significantly higher than the control group(70.0%)(x2=6.25, P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion Ambroxol hydrochloride combined with budesonide in the treatment of bronchial pneumonia in children is effective and can effectively reduce the CRP and WBC count, so it is worth popularizing widely in clinic.

Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2018;34(11):2448-2452
Hepatorenal syndrome (HRS) is one of the most serious complications of end-stage liver disease. Type Ⅰ/Ⅱ HRS has a high short-term mortality rate and poor prognosis. The diagnostic criteria for HRS based on serum creatinine cannot keep up with the world, and early diagnosis is of great importance to the treatment and prognosis of HRS. This article introduces the value and clinical significance of seven biomarkers for renal injury in the early diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and prognostic evaluation of HRS. It is pointed out that neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin, interleukin-18, and kidney injury molecule-1 may be the biomarkers for early identification of renal injury in patients with liver cirrhosis. A combination of multiple biological indicators, imaging examination, and interventional techniques might be a feasible method for early diagnosis of HRS in future.
