1.Discussion on TCM strategies and skills of the treatment of refractory jaundice
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2011;33(4):328-330
Based on clinical features of refractory diseases and clinical practice experience for many years, the author expounded the therapeutic strategies from establishing individualized system of differentiation treatment, treatment strategies of refractory diseases, and the key for medication, and emphasized individual concerned therapy, separating primary and secondary treatment and grasping the physiological state to treat pathological changes. Thus complicated and changeable diseases can be treated clinically.

4.Progress of the intestinal microflora in human immune and allergic diseases in children
International Journal of Pediatrics 2013;(1):64-67
Microorganisms can affect the development of body immune system.Intestinal flora regulate immune function by promoting the intestinal immune system development, inducing T cell differentiation to avoid or reduce the incidence of immune-related diseases.Allergic diseases are related with the body's immune system hypoplasia and imperfect immune regulation mechanism. The immune system can be affected by intestinal flora, and the distribution of flora in the body between children with allergies and healthy children are significantly different, indicating that the occurrence of allergic diseases are associated with intestinal microflora.Studies have reported probiotic are helpful to the prevention and treatment of allergic disease, providing a new way for the prevention and treatment of allergic diseases.
5.The research progress of PD-1 channel inhibition in tumor treatment
Tianjin Medical Journal 2015;(9):1085-1095
Programmed death1 (PD-1) is mainly expressed on the surface of activated T cell. The combination between PD-1 and its legends PD-L1/PD-L2 activate downstream signaling pathways and negatively regulate T cell activation. Ab?normal increase expression of PD-L1 on tumor cell surface mediates the tumor immune escape. Inhibition of PD-1 signaling pathway contributes to antitumor effect of T cells. The development of this pathway inhibitors has become a hot spot for tu?mor immunotherapy. This article expounds the progress about antitumor effects mediated by PD-1 pathway inhibition from experiments in vivo or in vitro and clinical development of PD-1 pathway inhibitors, providing a new target for cancer immu?notherapy and theoretical and clinical basis for the clinical application of immunotherapy with traditional therapy methods.
6.Comparison Study on Fingerprints of Liposoluble Components Between Salvia Yunnanensis Roots and Salvi-a Miltiorrhiza Roots
China Pharmacist 2015;(8):1256-1259
To study the fingerprints of liposoluble components in Salvia yunnanensis roots collected from different habi-tats, and compare with the fingerprints of Salvia miltiorrhiza. Methods: The fingerprints were determined by HPLC and the results were analyzed by a similarity evaluation system for chromatographic fingerprints of TCM ( Version 2004 A) . Results:The fingerprints of different samples of Salvia yunnanensis roots showed high similarity. And the characteristic peaks in the fingerprints of the liposoluble components were basically the same as those of Salvia miltiorrhiza, while the contents of several main effective components were lower than those in Salvia miltiorrhiza. Conclusion: The liposoluble components in Salvia yunnanensis roots show relatively high similarity with those in Salvia miltiorrhiza, however, there are obvious differences in the contents of the main constituents.
7.Caloric restriction and control of body weight
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2014;30(2):160-162
Control of body weight is a hot topic. It is considered as the cornerstone for the management of patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes based on the effect of improving blood glucose, lipid profile, blood pressure, and insulin sensitivity. The strategies for weight loss include diet restriction, exercise, medicine, and bariatric surgery. In the present article the relationship between caloric restriction and weight loss was reviewed, focusing on the hot topics as to what extent weight loss could be achieved, the maintenance of ideal body weight, the risk factor of weight regain, and weight loss in particulas populations like obese children, adolescents, and older adults.
8.Interpretation of the American Thyroid Association 2012 guidelines for management of patients with anaplastic thyroid cancer
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2014;30(4):284-287
Anaplastic thyroid cancer (ATC) is a rare but highly lethal form of thyroid cancer. The original ATC guidelines were published by American Thyroid Association in 2012.The guidelines recommend that once the diagnosis of ATC has been verified, rapid evaluation and establishment of treatment goals are imperative, and a multidisciplinary management is required.Radical surgical resection and high doses of external beam radiotherapy are important factors associated with prolonged survival.
9.Update on the relationship between testicular function and bone metabolism
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2015;31(4):372-374
It has been well known that testosterone is the only connection between testis and bone as it plays an important role in skeletal growth and bone mass accrual. In the past few years, studies showed that factors other than testosterone could also be responsible for bone health. The Leydig cells in the testis produce insulin-like 3 and express cytochrome P450 2R1 (CYP2R1) gene which encodes the major enzyme involved in 25-hydroxylation of vitamin D.The understanding of the crosstalk between testis and bone could contribute to defining an improved clinical approach to the biochemical diagnosis and therapeutic management of hypogonadism and male osteoporosis.
10.Ageing-induced changes of peripheral benzodiazepine receptors in rat spinal cord synaptosoms
Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2013;(5):561-563
Objective To investigate the changes of peripheral benzodiazepine receptors (PBRs)in rat spinal cord synaptosomes during ageing and to explore the correlation between PBRs in spinal cord synaptosomes and PBRs on platelet membranes. Methods A total of 24 Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 3-month group and 24-month group (n=6 males and 6 females for each). All animals were sacrificed by decapitation and the spinal cords were immediately removed.Synaptosomal fractions from spinal cords were isolated by gradient centrifugation. The platelet membranes were prepared from venous blood by the method of hypotonic haemolysis. The specific binding of the radioactive PBRs antagonist [3H]PK11195 to membranes was determined. Results No significant differences in [3H] PK11195 binding activity in spinal cords and platelet membranes were observed between male and female rats in the same group (all P>0.05).[3H] PK11195 binding activity in spinal cords and platelet membranes were higher in 3-month group than in 24 month group [(213.94±10.65) fmol/mg pro.vs.(50.65± 2.74) fmol/mg pro.,(104.97± 2.24) fmol/mg pro.vs.(56.20±5.36) fmol/mg pro.,respectively,t=51.418,29.041,both P< 0.001].There was a positive correlation between [3H]PK11195 binding activity in platelet membranes and in spinal cord synaptosomes (r=0.985,P<0.001).Conclusions The level of PBRs is gradually decreased in rat spinal cord synaptosomes with ageing.[3H] PK11195 binding activity of platelet membranes can reflect the changes of PBRs in spinal cords.
