Bowen's disease is an intraepidermal squarnous cell carcinoma referred to also as squamous cell carcimona in situ. Approximately two-thirds of Bowen's disease consist of solitary lesion while remaining show multiple lesions, We experienced a 68-year old male patient who had multiple erythematous pathes and plaques covered with scales and grayish crusts developing on the trunk and both lower extremities. At first, clinically we suspected psoriasis, seborrheic keratosis, eczema and mycosis fungoides, and finally histopathologic features revealed Bowen's disease showing transformation to invasive squamous cell carcinorna.

This statistical analysis was made out of 2,259 clinical cases (9. 9%) of akin disorders in the aged group over 50 years of age, among from the total 22,931 cases of outpatients, from 1974 to 1978, at Department of Dermatology, Sung-Sim HospitaI. Two cases of hyperlipoproteinemia is reported, Hyperlipoproteinemia is characterized by various kinds of cutaneous xanthomatosis associated with or without arteriosclerotic changes due to increasing lipoprotein fraction of the serum. Case I . 37-year old housewife had multiple, pea to nut sized, various shaped, cutaneous and subcutaneous nodular masses has been developed last 3 years. Some of her family member have similar symptoms. Serum cholesterol level was 790 mg% and serum triglyceride level was 270 mg% after 14 hour fasting. Case II. 52-year old housewife was suffered from pea sized, multiple, subcutaneous nodular and cutaneous eruptions last 2 years. There was no family histories. Serum cholesterol level was 895 mg% and serum triglyceride level was 350 mg% after 14 hour fasting. Typical Touton giant cells were found in biopsy specimens taken from cutaneous lesons. ECG, X-ray, glucose toleranc test and other laboratory examinations showed within normal limits. Tne agarose electrophoresis pattern of serum lipoprotein fractions are very similiar with that of hyperlipoproteinemia type II. These two patients were treated with nicotinic and 1. 0 gm and clofibrate 2.0 gm daily by mouth and restricted animal fatty foods. Total serum cholesterol level was markedly decreasea 2 months after treatment in case I.

A 4-year-old boy have had widespread, multiple, dark brownish, verrucous ]papular plaques on the neck, left chest, right side of abdomen, back and penile skin since birth. Clinical features and light and electron microscopic findings were consistent with ichthyosis hystrix. The patient was successfully treated with systemic administration of etretinate and vitamin E.

Bleomycin, a tumoricidal antibiotic agent, may produce unusual cutaneous manifestations such as pigmentation scleroderma, and gangrene. We report a case of the development of linear streaky pigmentation and cutaneous scleroderma in a patient treated with bleomycin for choriocarcinoma of undescented testis. The patient was 45-year-old male presented with linear brown and slate gray streaking over the trunk and extremities after three cycles of chemotherapy(bleomycin, etoposide, cisplatine). After the fourth cycle of the same chemotherapy, 18 weeks after initiation of bleomycin, the development of cutaneous scleroderma-like conditions was observed involving the same sites. Histopathologic examination showed increased basal pigmentation and thick collagen bundles through the entire dermis, extending to the subcutis. Herein, we describe a case of streaky pigmentation and scleroderma in association with bleomycin anticancer chemotherapy simultaneously in a patient.
