According to traditional Chinese medical theory"Qi in motion can normalize blood circulation". To study the therapeutic effect of herbs regulating Qi on inhibition of tumor metastasis,their influence on blood stasis was investigated. Results showed that the herbs could slow down platelet aggregation and normalize the balance between TXA2 and PGI2. Hence,the herbs could inhibit tumor growth and metastasis.

Objective To evaluate the application value of real-time three-dimensional echocardiography (RT-3D TEE) in nonvalvular atrial fibrillation patients after transcatheter left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) with the Amplatzer Cardiac Plug (ACP).Methods The two-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography (2D TEE) and RT-3D TEE were performed in selected patients to measure the diameter of left atrial appendage ostium and landing zone,to observe left atrial appendage morphology and lobular distribution.These were also performed to guide the whole process of transcatheter LAAC with ACP,which included the atrial septal puncture,sheathing canal cruise,occluder device implantation,and verifying the stability of occluder device and releasing the device.It involved observing ACP occluder morphology,location,stability,surrounding residual shunt,whether influencing the mitral valve and left superior pulmonary vein flow,and pericardial effusion.Results A total of 15 patients (100％) successfully underwent LAAC with the ACP.The maximum diameter of left atrial appendage ostium by 2D-TEE measurement during operation was (20.5 ± 2.9)mm,located at 135°.The diameter of left atrial appendage landing zone was (17.1 ± 2.8) mm,located at 45°;(18.0 ± 4.0) mm,located at 90°;(22.1 ± 4.7)mm,located at 135°,respectively.The left atrial appendage morphology:2 had one leaf and 13 had two leaves or more,including 2 cases of bifoliate short neck shape.In 15 patients,6 cases of cauliflower type,2 cases of wind sock type,3 cases of chicken wing type,2 cases of cactus type and 2 cases of complex type.The proximal left atrial appendage morphology:3 cases of boot type,2 cases of wide mouth type,6 cases of narrow mouth type,2 cases of straight tube type,and 2 cases of bifoliate short neck type.There was no obvious residual shunt in all the patients at immediately post-operation.Conclusions In the transcatheter LAAC with the ACP,RT-3D TEE has important application value in the preoperative selection of patients,the choice of appropriate occluder,guidance of full-process monitoring during operation,the postoperative effect evaluation and so on.

Objective To study the effect of diosgenin(Dio) from Dioscorea nipponica on the proliferation in mouse spleen T lymphocytes and expressions of IL-2 and IFN-γmRNA,in order to investigate the immunity regulatory mechanism of Dio.Methods T lymphocytes stimulated by different concentrations of Dio and concanavalin A(ConA) were co-cultured.CCK-8 was used to detect the Dio effects on T lymphocyte proliferation.The RT-PCR method was adopted to detect the effect of Dio on expression of IL-2 and IFN-γmRNA.Results The Dio concentration in the range of 0.937 5-15.000 0 μg/mL had the inhibiting effect on T lymphocyte proliferation,Dio concentration in the range of 3.750 0-15.000 0μg/mL had the inhibiting effect on IFN-γ and IL-2 expression in T lymphocytes.With the Dio concentration increase,the inhibition effect was enhanced(P＜0.05).7.500 0 μg/mL was the best inhibition concentration.The inhibition effect was decreased when the concentration exceeding 7.500 0 μg/mL.Conclusion Dio has the inhibiting effect on T lymphocyte proliferation and expressions of IL-2 and IFN-γ mRNA.

Objective: On the basis of the dominant frequency index of functional connectivity, the "brain age" analysis method was used to explore abnormal development patterns of sensorimotor networks in boys with autism spectrum disorder(ASD). Methods: The resting state functional magnetic resonance data (7-12 years old) for 105 boys with ASD and 102 matched boys with normal development from the ABIDE public database were screened. Functional connection networks in different frequency bands of sensorimotor related brain regions were constructed for each individual, and the frequency of the strongest connection were constructed as the optimal frequency of the connection. Brain age analysis was used to explore the difference between brain age and chronological age in boys with ASD. Results: The brain sensorimotor network of boys with ASD showed an abnormal development pattern of overdevelopment followed by underdevelopment, and the transition between the two patterns occurred at approximately 7.8 years of age. Older boys with ASD (older than 10 years) whose underdevelopment trend was suppressed had lower ASD severity( r=-0.43, P < 0.05 ). Conclusion The brain sensorimotor network in boys with ASD has an abnormal development process, and the brain chronological age difference in the sensorimotor network has potential as a neuroimaging marker to measure the development of ASD.

Objective: To understand the needs of parents of kindergarten children in urban areas for online training on sexuality education, so as to provide a basis for the development of parent training courses. Methods: In May 2023, a multistage cluster random sampling method was used to select 3 516 parents of young children from 12 kindergartens in urban areas of Changshou District, Chongqing. A self designed questionnaire on Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of Early Childhood Sexuality Education (Parents) was used for the survey, and χ 2 test and multi factor Logistic regression model were used for data analysis. Results: The online training demand rate of urban parents for early childhood sexuality education was 57.05%. The results of the multi factor Logistic regression analysis showed that age, education level, occupation, whether or not they were the main caregivers, total score level of the scale, awareness of their own responsibility, communication with family and friends about early childhood sexuality education and young children s participation in kindergarten sexuality education activities were the influencing factors of parents online training demand on sexuality education ( OR =1.18, 1.44, 1.42, 0.83, 1.19, 0.51, 0.75, 0.75, P <0.05). Conclusion Urban parents have a high demand for online training on early childhood sexuality education, and training courses should be developed according to the specific needs and characteristics of parents of young children.

Microsatellite instability (MSI) is a key biomarker for cancer therapy and prognosis. Tra-ditional experimental assays are laborious and time-consuming, and next-generation sequencing-based computational methods do not work on leukemia samples, paraffin-embedded samples, or patient-derived xenografts/organoids, due to the requirement of matched normal samples. Herein, we developed MSIsensor-pro, an open-source single sample MSI scoring method for research and clinical applications. MSIsensor-pro introduces a multinomial distribution model to quantify poly-merase slippages for each tumor sample and a discriminative site selection method to enable MSI detection without matched normal samples. We demonstrate that MSIsensor-pro is an ultrafast, accurate, and robust MSI calling method. Using samples with various sequencing depths and tumor purities, MSIsensor-pro significantly outperformed the current leading methods in both accuracyand computational cost. Objective:To compare the therapeutic effect of lateral position and half lithotomy position in Asian proximal femur intramedullary nail antirotation system (PFNA-II) for treating the elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric fractures.Methods:A retrospective case control study was made on 141 patients with femoral intertrochanteric fractures admitted to Jiangjin Central Hospital from January 2016 to September 2017, including 54 males and 87 females, aged 65-99 years (mean, 80.4 years). According to AO classification, there were 42 patients with type A1 fractures, 88 with type A2 and 11 with type A3. Of all, 74 patients were stabilized by PFNA-II internal fixation in lateral position (lateral position group) and 67 patients by PFNA-II internal fixation in half lithotomy position (half lithotomy position group). The postural placement time, total incision length, operative time, intraoperative blood loss, fluoroscopy frequency, tip-apex distance, reduction quality, fracture healing time, postoperative complications and Harris hip function at 12 months after surgery were compared between the two groups.Results:All patients were followed up for 12-18 months (mean, 12.5 months), except that 13 patients were lost after 9 months, an average of 12.5 months. There were no statistically significant differences in postural placement time, operative time, fracture healing time, and Harris hip score between the two groups ( P>0.05). While significant differences were seen between lateral position group and half lithotomy position group regarding the incision length [(6.5±1.3)cm vs. (7.5±1.5)cm], intraoperative blood loss [(84.3±3.1)ml vs. (90.4±3.9)ml], fluoroscopy frequency [(13.1±1.9)times vs. (11.2±1.2)times], tip-apex distance [(20. 6±2.2)mm vs. (24.4±1.8)mm], good rate of reduction quality (80% vs. 85%) and implant related complications (5% vs. 2%) ( P<0.05 or 0.01). Conclusion:For treatment of elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures, compared to the lateral position, the half lithotomy position in PFNA-II internal fixation can reduce frequency of fluoroscopy, improve quality of fracture reduction and reduce implant-related complications.

OBJECTIVE: To determine the characteristics, classification, and treatment of thoracic fracture accompanied with sternum fracture. METHODS: Data of 32 patients with thoracic fractures accompanied with sternum fracture were reviewed. Patients information such as age, gender, cause of injury, site of sternum fracture, level and type of thoracic vertebral fracture, spinal cord injury and associated injuries was included in the analysis. Of the 32 patients, 13 had compressed fractures, 13 had fracture-dislocations, 5 had burst fracture and 1 had burst-dislocation. Six patients had a complete lesion of the spinal cord, 13 sustained a neurologically incomplete injury, and the other 13 were neurologically intact. Ten patients were treated nonoperatively and the other 22 surgically. RESULTS: All patients were followed up for 10-103 months. Road traffic accidents and falling dominated among the causes. All patients were accompanied with other injuries. None of the 6 patients with a complete paralitic lesion regained any significant function. Of the 13 neurologically intact patients, 5 had local pain although 12 of them remained normal function. One patient showed tardive paralysis. Three of the 13 patients with incomplete paraplegia returned to normal, 5 regained some function and 5 did not recover. CONCLUSION Thoracic fractures accompanied with sternum fracture are marked by violent force, severe fracture of the spine, severe injuries of the spinal cord, and high incidence of other injuries. The new classification method is more suitable to thoracic fractures accompanied with sternum fracture,and confirms the existence and clinical relevance of the 4th column of the thoracic spine and its role in providing spinal stability in patients with thoracic fracture.
