Objective:To study the cytokine mechanism of Jiawei Xuanfei Toujie Ji(JXT)therapy to influenza infected mouse.Methods:Mice were inoculated intranasally with mouse lung-adapted influenza virus strain(FM1),and were treated with JXT. At 5th days after postinoculation were sacrificed, and IL-2,TNF-?,IL-6,IFN-? in their sera were measured with ELISA kits, their lungs sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin.Results:Compared with model group ,the levels of IL-2 and IFN-? in JXT group were dramatically higher,and the levels of TNF-? and IL-6 were lower,and pathological effects of influenza pneumonia showed less lung injury.Conclusion:Regulative effects on cytokine may be one of the factors that JXT decrease the pathogenesis of influenza-induced acute lung injury.

Objective To observe the effect of atropine in the treatment of bromiderosis with anhydrous alcohol injection. Methods Patients were randomly divided into two groups (A and B): the patients in Group A was injected with both anhydrous alcohol and atropine, and that in Group B was only injected with anhydrous alcohol. The effect of the operation was evaluated at 1, 3 and 6 months after the treatment. Results From August 2004 to January 2008, 72 patients were involved in this study. 37 cases were included in Group A, and 35 patients were included in Group B. The effective rate in the Group A was 83.78 %, and that in the Group B was 82.86 %. There was no statistical difference between these two groups. Conclusion Atropine has no effect on the treatment of axillary bromidrosis with anhydrous alcohol injection and it is, therefore, not necessarily included in the treatment.

AIM:To study the effect of Yiqi Huoxue Jiedu Fang(YHJ),composed of ginsenoside,penex notogingseng and berberin,on tumor growth and metastasis and to explore its mechanism.METHODS:Murine Lewis lung carcinoma transplant model was established and mice were treated with YHJ by intraperitoneal injection.After 10 days,the inhibitory rate of tumor,pathology of tumor and PCNA of tumor cells were detected.After 20 days,numbers of metastatic foci on lung surface and microvessel density(MVD)were determined.Expression of VEGF in tumor and serum were also analyzed by immunohistochemical test and ELISA,respectively.RESULTS:YHJ reduced the weight of tumor and the amount of metastatic foci.The inhibitory rates of tumor at high and low dose of YHJ(24 mg?kg-1?d-1,12 mg?kg-1?d-1)were 48.29% and 37.26%,and the number of metastatic foci was 1.67 and 3.50,while control was 6.44.Furthermore,PCNA of tumor cells,MVD of tumor and VEGF expression in serum and tumor were decreased in YHJ treatment goup as compared with control.CONCLUSION:YHJ remarkably inhibits Lewis lung carcinoma growth and metastasis in mice.Its mechanism may be related to inhibition of angiogenesis.

AIM: To investigate the mechanism of berberine’s inhibiting growth and metastasis of tumor by observing the effects of berberine on proliferation and apoptosis of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). METHODS: Cultured HUVECs were incubated with berberine. MTT assay and quantitative immunocytochemistry were used to detect cell proliferation and the expression of proliferation cell nuclear antigen (PCNA). Morphologic changes of apoptosis were observed by fluorescent staining, and Rhodamin123 was used to determinate mitochondrial membrane potential under the laser confocal microscopy. AIM: To study the effect of berberine(Ber) on invasion and migration of PG cells from a high metastatic human giant lung carcinoma cell line and to explore its mechanism. METHODS: Agarose drop method was used to detect PG migration; transwell cabin with FN in lower chamber was adopted to detect PG chemotaxis. PG adhesion to FN and martrigel was detected by MTT; PG invasive ability was determined by transwell cabin covered with martrigel. Expression of MMP2/TIMP2 protein and mRNA were detected by quantitative immunocytochemical method and RT - PCR respectively. RESULTS: After PG was treated by Ber( 10 mg/L) for 24 h: 1 ) migration distance of Ber- treated PG cells was markedly shorter than that of control cells (P ＜0. 01 ) and the number of passed membrane cells towards FN was much fewer than that of control cells ( P ＜ 0. 01 ); 2) PG adhesion to FN and martrigel was inhibited remarkably by Ber compared with control PG; 3) the migration of PG cells through the martrigel -coated transwell was significantly inhibited by the addition of Ber; 4) MMP2 expression was reduced significantly(P ＜0. 01 ), while the TIMP2 expression showed up - regulating tendency, but had no differences compared with control group (P ＞ 0. 05). The MMP2/TIMP2 ratio was decreased; 5 )the MMP2 mRNA/TIMP2 mRNA ratio was decreased by Ber. CONCLUSION: Inhibition of cell migration, adhesion to ECM and invasion into ECM of tumor cells and regulation of homeostasis between MMPs and TIMPs to maintain ECM integrity may be the basic mechanism of inhibitive effect of Ber on invasion and metastasis of tumors.

Objective Pathogens from the nosocomial infection have been analyzed by MALDI‐TOF microbial identification system ,to evaluate mass spectrometry analysis advantage and explore the mass spectrometry method .Methods The pathogens have been analyzed by MALDI‐TOF microbial identification system ,by compared with the VITEK‐2 compact detection in the tes‐ting time ,detection rate and the amounts of identified strains .The homology differences have been analyzed by comparison calcula‐tion of common peaks from the fingerprint spectrums .Results Thirty‐one Escherichia coli strains ,28 Klebsiella pneumonia strains and 9 unusual pathogen strains have been identified by MALDI‐TOF MS for only 1 hours .It has more advantages than VITEK‐2 in the testing time and other aspects .Conclusion Nosocomial infection of pathogen shows a point source propagation mode centering on the department .MALDI‐TOF mass spectrometry is able to rapidly and correctly identify the pathogen .MALDI‐TOF microbial i‐dentification system is expected to be the major detecting technique in the field of the pathogen monitor and resistance monitoring a ‐nalysis .

Objective To evaluate effect of combined corpeetomy for multilevel cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) and ossified posterior longitudinal ligament (OPLL).Methods Fifteen patients with CSM or OPLL,including 9 males and 6 females,were treated with combined corpectomy which is characterized by C4 and C6 corpectomy,excision of osteophyma,protruded disc and/or ossified posterior longitudinal ligament on basis of preservation of C5 vertebral body,structural bone grafting in C3-5 and C5-7,and anterior cervical plate fixation at C3,C5,and C7.The clinical results were evaluated with Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) score.X-rays and CT scans were taken to evaluate vertebral fusion,and MRI was used to access spinal canal decompression and condition of spinal cord.Results All patients were followed up for 9 to 42 months (average,26.7 months).Bony fusion was achieved in all 15 patients.The JOA score improved from preoperative 13.44±2.81 to postoperative 16.16±2.19 (P=0.0354).The cervical lordosis improved from preoperative 1.16°±11.74° to immediately postoperative 14.36°±7.85° (P=0.00217),and 12.92°+6.17° at the final follow-up (P=0.00292).The complications included temporary hoarseness in 2 cases,dysphagia in 1 case.Conclusion The combined corpectomy for treating CSM and OPLL can obtain reliable and satisfactory results.In operation,the preservation of C5 vertebral body can provide an additional screw anchoring force and strengthen stahility.

Objective: To understand physical fitness among primary and middle school students in Henan Province, so as to provide theoretical basis for physical fitness promotion among primary and middle school students. Methods: Based on data of National Survey on Student Physical Fitness and Health in Henan Province in 2019, a total of 42 734 students were investigated. The Z value of each physical fitness index were calculated by Z method, physical fitness index (PFI) was obtained to reflect the physical fitness condition synthetically. Physical fitness of different groups were compared, and associated factors of PFI were analyzed by multiple linear regression. Results: Lung capacity, grip strength, standing long jump, 50 m run, 50 m×8 shuttle run and PFI in boys were [(2 552.1±1 226.5)mL, (26.0±13.9)N, (171.0±43.7)cm, (9.3±1.8)s, (132.1±22.6)s, (1.4±3.6)], respectively, which were significantly higher than that of girls [(1 965.2±765.3)mL, (19.1±8.2)N, (142.4±26.6)cm, (10.5±1.4)s, (136.9±21.1)s, (-1.4±3.2)]( t =59.35,62.66,81.87,-74.92,-16.72,85.96, P <0.01). The seated forward flexion of boys [(7.0±7.5)cm] was significantly lower than that of girls[(11.8±7.1)cm], the difference was statistically significant ( t =-68.57， P <0.01). Significant sex differences were observed in physical fitness at different age ( P <0.01). There was a certain gap between urban boys and rural boys in terms of strength quality, endurance quality and flexibility quality, and the physical quality of urban girls was better than that of rural girls as a whole. The detection rates of poor eyesight, malnutrition, overweight and obesity, anemia and high blood pressure of primary and middle school students were 68.0%, 5.4%, 26.0%, 15.9% and 18.0%, respectively. Region, sex, age and nutritional status(malnutrition,overweight and obesity) were the influencing factors of PFI( β =-0.23,-2.92,-0.11,-1.19, -0.78 , P <0.05). Conclusion Physical fitness among primary and middle school students varies in gender, age group, region and disease condition in Henan Province. Scientific intervention should be administered, especially for rural, female students, senior students, undernourished and overweight and obese students, to improve health awareness and physical fitness.

Objective To introduce the application of 3D printing individualized plastic guide plate in the treatment of pelvic and acetabular fracture and to evaluate its application value.Methods From June 2016 to April 2017,the clinical data of eleven adult patients with pelvic and acetabular fracture was analyzed retrospectively.The pelvic CT scan was performed before operation to obtain the original data.Three-dimensional reconstruction performed by mimics 17.0 software with the data and the fracture reduction performed on the software.3D printing individualized plastic guide plate was designed and made to guide the pre-implantation plate bending and shaping.The pre implantation plate bending was completed according to the plastic guide.Postoperative Matta imaging score was used to evaluate fracture reduction,while the function of the hip joint was assessed by the Harris scores.Results All the operations were successfully completed.There were no adverse complications during or after the operation.Anatomical reduction was performed in 10 cases and functional reduction in 1 case.The excellent and good rate of Matta scores was 90.9%,excellent in 7 cases,good in 3 cases,fair in 1 case and no poor case.The excellent rate of Harris scores was 81.8%,excellent in 6 cases, good in 3 cases,fair in 2 cases and no poor case.Conclusion In the treatment of pelvic and acetabular fracture,the application of 3D printing individualized plastic guide plate may not only make mode simple and feasible and save time and materials,but also simplify the operation,reduce the difficulty of operation and hold satisfactory clinical effect.

Objective:To report the results of a study of 7 patients with osteoarthritis who underwent arthroscopic sternoclavicular arthroplasty in response to conservative treatment.Methods:Arthroscopic sternoclavicular arthroplasty was performed in 7 patients with sternoclavicular osteoarthritis. There were 3 males and 4 females.The age ranges from 34 to 62, with an average age of 43. Patients were evaluated before surgery and at follow-up using the Constant score and Rockwood sternoclavicular joint score system. The postoperative follow-up lasted from 1 to 10 months, with an average of 3.7 months. The surgery was performed under general anesthesia without shoulder joint fixation.Results:All patients recovered preoperative function or full activity within 2 weeks after operation. At the last follow-up, 6 patients had no pain and 1 had mild tension after activity. The median Constant score increased from 69.6 (62-80) to 94.3 (88-96); The median Rockwood score increased from 5.7 (on a scale of 3 to 8) to 14.3 (on a scale of 12 to 15)(maximum 15). Clinical efficacy: All 7 cases were excellent (13-15 points). There were no complications, especially no problems with joint stability.Conclusion:Arthroscopic sternoclavicular arthroplasty is a new method for the treatment of sternoclavicular osteoarthritis which failed to respond to conservative treatment.
