Korean Journal of Dermatology 1970;8(2):59-62
The author observed one case of typical Linear bassal cell nevus who was 3 year old girl. Since birth, skin lesions reveal a linear band like nodules along the left lateral margin of nose, which are consists of pinhead sized, normal skin colored, pearly and translucent papules. Histopathologically, the preparations showed muItifocal irregular masses of basal type epithelial cells in continuity at pilosebaceous follicles and the cells were oval or spindle shaped and a peripheral palisade arrangement. But comedones and nevus cells were not identified. Diagnosis confirmed by clinical appearance, histopathologically and other clinical study. There were marked improvement by the locaI application of 2% 5-Fluorouracil solution.

Postlumbar puncture headache is a common complication of spinal anesthesia. It usually may be alleviated by adequate hydration, continuous recumbency, abdominal compression and analgesic medication. However, these conservative treatments are only symptomatic and epidural blood patch is curable approach based on pathophysiology. During the 3 year period from 1988 to 1990, 700 cases of spinal anesthesia were recorded by Wonju Christian Hospital, Wonju Medical College, Yonsei University. This study was primarily undertaken to observe several aspects of postspinal headache i.e. incidence, age and sex distribution, onset, duration and treatment. The results were as follows: 1) The overall incidence of headache was 10.6% (74 cases). 2) Headache occurred in highest frequency in patients in the third and fourth decades. 3) Frequency of headache was higher in women. 4) The onset of headache was within postop. 3 days. 5) The duration of headache was within 6 days. 6) a) 12 cases were cured spontaneously. b) 52 cases were cured by conservative treatment. c) 10 cases were cured by the epidural blood patch.

A 24 year-old Korean male, has had an eruption on the Lt. foot for 3 years. The lesion consists of single large macule of reddish purplish brown coloration scattered over the great toe, dorsum and inner part of the Lt. foot. Recently, there is no new lesions and lymphadenopathy on any part of the body. Laboratory tests were all negative, including serology. X-ray findings of the chest and Lt. foot showed normal limits but, angiographic findings which was performed under the local anesthesia through the femoral artery showed the arterio-venous plexus and markedly increased vascularity on the inner side of Lt foot area. Biopsy of a macule on the inner part of the Lt. foot was confirmed as Kaposi's sarcoma. X-ray therapy (100Kv at 50cm distance with 2 mm of AL. filter) was directed to the involved sites daily for 6 days to a total of 1,800 roentogens, after lesion was progressively improved day by day.

One case of malignant acanthosis nigricans associated with internal malignany and oral florid papilloma has been presented and reviewed the subject of malignant acanthosis nigricans. The patient who was 34 year old man had been affected generalixed dark brownish hyperpigmentation with papillomatoses especially on forehead, neck, axillae, umbilical area, anogenital area, webs of fingers, palms and soles. And characteristically it was associated with severe florid papilloma on mucous membrane such as buccal mucosa, lip and glans penis. Histopathologically, internal malignancy was confirmed metastatic adenocarcinoma of stomach after autopsy, although previous biopsy finding was squamous cell carcinoma when explorative laparatomy was done. The response to Bleomycin, new antibiotic anticancer drug, followed by intravenous injection is good and satisfying. But the patient died due to sudden pulmonary hemorrhage which are serious side effect of Bleomycin.

One case of malignant acanthosis nigricans associated with internal malignancy has been presented and the suhject of malignant acanthosis nigricans has been revieived. The patient who was 50 year old man had been affected generalized hyperpigmentation with pnpillomatosis especially on forehead, neck, axilla, umbilical area, anogenital area, palm and soles and associated with highly malignant adenocarcinoma of stomach. Diagnosis was confirmed by characteristic clinical appearance, explorative laparatomy and histopathologically

Investigative Magnetic Resonance Imaging 2020;24(1):55-60
Tietze's syndrome is an inflammatory condition associated with painful swelling of the costochondral, costosternal, and sternoclavicular joints. Tietze's syndrome has been mostly attributed to microtrauma until now; however, this etiology is currently disputed. The diagnosis is based on clinical findings, although a few studies suggest the advantages of imaging. We report a case of Tietze's syndrome with a review of radiological findings, especially magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with dynamic contrast enhancement.

Journal of the Korean Pediatric Society 1993;36(1):138-143
The Kniest syndrome is characterized by disproportionate dwarfism and Kyphoscoliosis which may be associated with flat facies with prominent eyes, cleft palate, hearing loss, myopia and limited joint motion. The skeletal abnormalities are recognizable at birth with shortening and deformity of the extremities and stiff joints. Marked lumbar lordosis and kyphoscoliosis develop in childhood, resulting in disproportionate shortening of the trunk. We experienced a case of kniest syndrome, confirmed by clinical features, radiological features, and histological examination of cartilage. A brief review of the related literature is presented.

Korean Journal of Anesthesiology 1991;24(4):838-842
Primary aldosteronism is typically characterized by hypertension, hypokalemia, elevated plasma aldosterone concentration, and suppressed plasma renin activity. Surgieal excision of the tumor mostly cures hypertension as well as electrolyte and hormonal abnormalities in patient with aldosterone-producing adenoma. We have experienced the anesthetic management of unilateral adrenalectomy in a 32 years old male, who was diagnosed as aldosterone-producing adenoma, under the general anesthesia with careful monitoring. Postoperative recovery was uncomplicated.
