Background Establising the culture model of Müller cells for obtaining the highly putified target cells is essential for the study about the physiology and pathology of retinal Müller cells. The exsiting purifing method for culturing Müller cells is dissatisfactory. Objective This study was to establish a method to obtain high purifing Müller cells. Methods The retina from 5 clean newborn SD rats were isolated and digested by 0. 01% trypsin and cultured in DMEM containing 10% fetal bovine serum. The cellular suspension was then prepared,and the target cells were screened using flow cytometry based on the size and the quantity of cells. Cultured and passaged cells were identified by transmission electron microscope and light microscope. Immunocytochemistry was used to detecte the expression of GFAP in cultured cells for the determination of type and purity of the cells. Results The cells showed the similar shape to retinal Müller cells after primarily culture with the large volume, and some small other types of cells could been seen. The growth of cells was quickly 3 weeks later. The fibroblasts were removed using sticking-wall by steps,and neurons were eliminated following passage. Aboundent of cellular organs were seen under the transmission electron microscope. The positive response rate of the cells for CFAP was 100%. Conclution Flow cytometry offer a rapid and feasible approach for purifying Muller cell and it builds the foundation for further study about Müller cells.

Objective To understand the current status of hypertension in Jingzhuang Town,Yanqing District,Beijing. Method With randomized cluster sampling,3 653 residents aged over 30 yrs old were investigated by a standard questionnaire on hypertension epidemiology.Result The prevalence rate of hypertension in Jingzhuang Town was 33.3%,and increased with the age(P0.05).The main patients were those with degree 1 hypertension(62.8%).There were 37.8%of people with normal blood pressure who had high-normal values,the highest(44.3%)in 60～69 yr group.In population with hypertension,the rate of people taking medication was 24.5%,disease control rate was 8.6%,while in patients aged 30～49 yrs,these rates were 7.1%and 2.9% respectively.Conclusion The prevalence of hypertension in Beijing's suburb was serious with a younger trend.There was a large part of people with high-normal blood oressure.

AIM:To investigate the clinical effect of panretinal photocoagulation (PRP) combined with calcium dobesilate in treatment of diabetic retinopathy (DR).METHODS:Selected 120 cases (240 eyes) of DR diagnosed in our hospital from January 2011 to January 2016 were retrospectively analyzed.According to whether calcium dobesilate was used, the treatment group was divided into two groups.Sixty cases were treated with PRP combined with calcium dobesilate, and 60 cases in the control group were treated with PRP only.The BCVA, CMT and clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared.RESULTS:Before treatment, there was no significant difference on BCVA between combined group and control group (P>0.05).After treatment, BCVA of combined group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.01).Before the treatment, no statistically significant difference between combined group and control group on CMT, neovascularization and fluorescein leakage area were found (P>0.05);after treatment, the combination group on CMT, neovascularization and fluorescein leakage area value were less than the control group (P<0.01).After treatment, combined group was appearance effect in 65.0%, effective in 30.0%, invalid in 5.0%, the control group was 50.8%, effective 36.7%, invalid 12.5%, all statistically significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05).CONCLUSION:PRP combined with calcium dobesilate in treatment of DR has a more significant clinical effect than PRP alone.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of 64-slice VCT reconstruction techniques in the diseases of joints of foot and hand.Methods 50 patients with diseases of joints of foot and hand underwent MSCT scans,the data were reconstructed,including multiplanar reconstruction(MPR),maximum intensity projection(MIP),shaded surface display(SSD)and volume rendering(VR),the results were analysed.Results 33 patients with fractures,40 and 51 fractures were found by X-ray and MPR,VR,respectively.The joint surface involved in 7 fractures,which was best with VR and MPR to show the whole fractures.SSD was better to demonstrate the soft tissue and the vessels of the skin.3D bone reconstruction with MIP was better than plain film in showing the fractures in 4 patients with plaster external fixation.Conclusion 64-slice VCT reconstruction techniques are effective in diagnosis of the diseases of joints of foot and hand.

BACKGROUND: This study was undertaken to determine the prevalence of organ failure and its risk factors in patients with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) . METHODS: A retrospective analysis was made of 186 patients with SAP who were had been hospitalized in the intensive care unit of Jinzhong First People's Hospital between March 2000 and October 2009. The patients met the diagnostic criteria of SAP set by the Surgical Society of the Chinese Medical Association in 2006. The variables collected included age, gender, etiology of SAP, the number of comorbidit, APACHEII score, contrast-enhanced CT (CECT) pancreatic necrosis, CT severity index (CTSI) , abdominal compartment syndrome (ACS) , the number of organ failure, and the number of death. The prevalence and mortality of organ failure were calculated. The variables were analyzed by unconditional multivariate logistic regression to determine the independent risk factors for organ failure in SAP. RESULTS: Of 186 patients, 96 had organ failure. In the 96 patients, 47 died. There was a significant association among the prevalence of organ failure and age, the number of comorbidity, APACHEII score, CECT pancreatic necrosis, CTSI, and ACS. An increase in age, the number of comorbidity, APACHEII score, CECT pancreatic necrosis were correlated with increased number of organ failure. Age, the number of comorbidity, APACHEII score, CECT pancreatic necrosis, CTSI and ACS were assessed by unconditional multivariate logistic regression. CONCLUSIONS: Organ failure occurred in 51.6％ of the 186 patients with SAP. The mortality of SAP with organ failure was 49.0％. Age, the number of comorbidity, APACHEII score, CECT pancreatic necrosis, CTSI and ACS are independent risk factors of organ failure.

Abstract: To investigate the distribution of avian influenza virus in environmental samples from live poultry markets (LPM) in China, samples were collected and tested by nucleic acid during 2009-2013 season. Each sample was tested by real-time RT PCR using flu A specific primers. If any real-time PCR was positive, the sample was inoculated into specific-pathogen-free (SPF) embryonated chicken eggs for viral isolation. The results indicated that the positive rate of nucleic acid in enviromental samples exhibited seasonality. The positive rate of nucleic acid was significantly higher in Winter and Spring. The positive rate of nucleic acid in LPM located in the south of China was higher than in northern China. Samples of Sewage for cleaning poultry and chopping board showed that higher positive rate of nucleic acid than other samples. The Subtype identification showed that H5 and H9 were main subtypes in the enviromental samples. Viral isolation indicated H5 subtypes was more than H9 subtypes between 2009 and 2013 while H9 subtypes increased in 2013. Our findings suggested the significance of public health based on LPM surveillance and provided the basis of prevention and early warning for avian flu infection human.
