Objective: To analyze the influence of long-term swimming training on spatial learning-memory in rats and its relationship with cyclic adenosine monophosphate(cAMP) and cyclic guanosine monophosphate(cGMP) signal transduction pathway. Method: After 3 times adaptable swimming exercises (30min each time), 40 male SD rats were divided into 2 groups: control group (CR, n=20) and exercises, group (TR, n=20). CR group didn't swim, and TR group swam without burden (6 times/week, 60 min each time). After 8 weeks training, 10 rats were selected from both groups respectively for examing of Morris water maze test. Radioimmunoassay was used to measure the levels of cAMP and cGMP in hippocampus and prefrontal cortex of rats. Result: ①Compared with CR group, in TR group learning-memory improved in a certain extent: ②Compared with CR group, in TR group, the level of cAMP in hippocampus enhanced very obviously (P<0.01), the cAMP/cGMP ratio enhanced obviously (P<0.05); in prefrontal cortex the levels of cAMP and cAMP/cGMP ratio enhanced obviously (P<0.05). Conclusion: Swimming training for 8 weeks improved the spatial learning-memory of rats in a certain extent, and elevated the level of cAMP and cAMP/cGMP ratio in hippocampus and prefrontal cortex of rats obviously. It is suggested that exercises might affect learning-memory by cAMP and cGMP signal transduction pathway.

To discuss the protective effect of aralosides (AS) on I/R-induced rat myocardial injury. The adult rat ventricular myocyte ischemia model was established through perfusion with sodium lactate perfusate and reperfusion with Ca(2+) -containing Tyrode's solution simulation. The cell contraction and ion concentration synchronization determination system was applied to detect the effect of AS on single I/R cell contraction and Ca2+ transients. According to the findings, AS could increase resting sarcomere length, contraction amplitude, ± dL/dt(max), calcium transient amplitude and speed of post-reperfusion myocardial cells (P < 0.05, P < 0.01), and decrease in time for achieving 90.0% of maximum relaxation, time for achieving peak value, resting calcium ratio, contraction period [Ca2+] i, time for achieving 50.0% of maximum relaxation and attenuation rate of intracellular calcium transient (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). Therefore, it is suggested that AS improved the post-reperfusion cell contraction and injury of calcium homeostasis.

AIM:To investigate efficacy of ranibizumab combined with laser treatment for patients with branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO) and macular edema.METHODS: We selected 67 patients (67 eyes) with BRVO and macular edema in our hospital from March 2013 to June 2016, they were randomly divided into observation group (n=31) and control group (n=36).The observation group was treated with ranibizumab combined with laser treatment. The control group was treated with macular grid photocoagulation. We observed best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), centre macular thickness (CMT) and macular leakage of two groups.RESULTS: The BCVA of observation group at 1, 2 and 3mo after treatment were 0.41±0.07, 0.42±0.05 and 0.48±0.05, significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05).The CMT of observation group at 1, 2 and 3mo after treatment were 203.11±59.13μm, 201.41±56.22μm and 204.22±60.13μm, significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).The blood vessel leakage of observation group at 3mo after treatment was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.05).No leakage ratio in the observation group was 71%.There were no postoperative infection, aseptic endophthalmitis and other complications in the two groups.CONCLUSION: Ranibizumab combined with laser treatment in patients with BRVO and macular edema has better curative effect, can improve the visual acuity of patients, eliminate macular edema, and is safe and reliable.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the effects of modified interocclusal lip arch appliance in correcting primary dentition functional crossbite. Methods Twenty children with functional crossbite were selected and treated with this new method.Cephalometric radiographs were taken and analyzed at the pre-treatment time (T1) and the post-treatment time (T2).Students't-test was used to determine if there were significant differences between the 2 time periods.ResultsSNA increased by (0.35 ±1.12)°,SNB decreased by (2.53±0.91)°,and ANB increased by (2.88± 2.24)°.Ns-Sn-Pos increased by (3.32±2.14)°,Ns-Prm-Pos decreased by (3.46±2.63)°.All of the anterior crossbites were corrected and the profiles were improved satisfactorily. Conclusions Modified interocclusal lip arch appliance is a clinically effective method for correcting primary dentition functional crossbite, balancing anteroposterior jaw relationship, and improving the face profile.

Objective To observe the postoperative analgesic effects of ultrasound-guided transversus abdominis plane block after cesarean section. Methods Forty patients having underwent cesarean section under intraspinal anesthesia were selected, and they were divided into experiment group and control group by random digits table method with 20 cases each. All the patients were given ultrasound-guided transversus abdominis plane blocks when surgery finished. The patients in experiment group were injected 0.25%ropivacaine 20 ml, and the patients in control group were injected 0.9% sodium chloride 20 ml. All the patients received patient controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) pump after surgery. The movement and resting visual analog score (VAS), incision VAS at 4, 8, 12 and 24 h after surgery, and the compression time of analgesis pump were compared between 2 groups. The correlated adverse reaction of transversus abdominis plane block were recorded. Results The movement VAS at 4 and 8 h after surgery in experiment group were (4.1±1.7) and (5.3±1.8)scores, and in control group were (6.3±2.0) and (7.0±1.2) scores, and there were statistical differences (P<0.05). The incision VAS at 4 and 8 h after surgery in experiment group were (0.9±0.4) and (1.2±0.8) scores, and in control group were (3.6±2.1) and (6.8±2.4) scores, and there were statistical differences (P<0.05). The compression time of analgesis pump in experiment group was significantly lower than that in control group: (2.8± 1.4) times vs. (4.0±1.9) times, and there was statistical difference (P<0.05). The using dose of tramadol in experiment group was significantly lower than that in control group:(214±12) mg vs. (224±15) mg, and there was statistical difference (P<0.05). All the patients did not appear the correlated adverse reaction of transversus abdominis plane block. Conclusions Ultrasound-guided transversus abdominis plane block is accurate and easy. It provides effectual post-cesarean section analgesia with lower adverse reaction, which is a better choice of multimodal analgesia for cesarean section.
