Objective To evaluate the characteristics of the CT perfusion for severe acute pancreatitis. Methods We performed CT perfusion scan on three groups of 9, 17and 41 cases with severe, mild and normal pancreatitis respectively, using 16 rows spiral CT, and got the perfusion data of the relevant groups including blood flow (BL), blood volume(BV), mean transit time( MTT), capillary permeability(PS)with perfusion package 3. We analize the data deviation between the groups mentioned above. Furthmore, we still adapt correlation test to compare the clinical biochemical indicators of MAP and SAP, with the variance BF. Results The mean values of BF, BV reduce significally in the groups of MAP, SAP compared to thenormal group(P<0.01 ), only PS goes higher than that of the normal group(P<0.05). At the same time, they are obviously higher in MAP group than in SAP group. In MAP group, the level of blood hemodiastase and BF are negatively correlated, on the contray, in SAP group, the level of the blood hemodiastase has no relation to BF. Conclusions CT perfusion techniques are of great significance in early diagnosis in SAP, and in guiding the clinical therapy.

AIM: To investigate the refractive distribution and analysis risk factors for aircrew ametropia.
METHODS: The number of 49 cases with ametropia from 1031 aircrew during May 2013 to May 2014 were reviewed. Various types of refraction composition, age, type, position, time of flight with the subjective assessment of aircrew were analyzed and compared.
RESULTS:Of 49 cases, 43 cases (88%) were myopia, 6 cases ( 12%) were hypermetropia. , Detection rates were higher in age over 50 years aircrew and flight time more than 3000h. Detection rates were lower in self-conscious symptom heavy aircrew, fighter aircrew and good habit of using eyes.
CONCLUSION: The myopia incidence in aircrew with age >50 years and long flight time is higher, than that of fighter pilots and good habit of using eyes. We should pay attention to the increasing late-onset myopia of aviators and habit of using eyes, work intensity and time of using eyes about aircrew.

Objective:To evaluate our self-designed easily-breaking compression bone bolt plus bone plate in the treatment of tibial plateau fracture. Methods:From July 2018 to December 2018, 12 patients with tibial plateau fracture were treated at Emergency Center of Trauma, The Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University using our self-designed easily-breaking compression bone bolt plus bone plate. They were 8 males and 4 females, aged from 20 to 65 years (average, 45.6 years), with 6 left sides and 6 right sides injured. According to Schatzker classification, there were one case of type I, 3 cases of type Ⅱ, 3 cases of type Ⅲ, 2 cases of type Ⅳ, one case of type Ⅴ and 2 cases of type Ⅵ. The width of tibial plateau was measured and compared before and after operation on X-ray films. Operation time, blood loss and fracture union time were recorded. Loss of reduction and postoperative complications were followed up. Knee function was evaluated at the final follow-up by Rasmussen scoring. Results:For this cohort, operation time averaged 54.6 min, blood loss 25 mL, and fracture union time 17.2 weeks. No nonunion or delayed union was observed. The postoperative width of tibial plateau was (78.9±7.2) mm, significantly narrower than the preoperative value [(87.4±6.1) mm] ( P < 0.05). No loss of reduction or surgical complications occurred postoperation. Deep venous thrombosis of the lower extremity developed in 2 patients but recovered after treatment. The Rasmussen scoring for knee joint function at the final follow-up yielded 9 excellent, 2 good and one poor. Conclusion:In treatment of tibial plateau fractures, our self-designed easily-breaking compression bone bolt plus bone plate can restore width of tibial plateau, compress fracture fragments tightly and allow for early exercise, leading to fine functional recovery of the knee joint.

Objective:To explore the factors related to functional recovery of the knee in patients with tibial plateau fracture complicated with intercondylar ridge fracture. Methods:Included in this retrospective study were 63 patients who had been treated at Emergency Center of Trauma, The Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University from January to June 2019 for tibial plateau fracture complicated with intercondylar ridge fracture. They were 43 males and 20 females, aged from 18 to 66 years (average, 43.9 years). According to our comprehensive classification of tibial plateau fractures, there were 27 simple ones (20 cases of type Ⅰ and 7 cases of type Ⅱ) and 36 complicated ones (16 cases of type Ⅲ, 17 cases of type Ⅳ, one of type Ⅴ and 2 cases of type Ⅵ). To screen out major influencing factors, a multiple linear regression model was used to analyze the 12 factors that might affect functional recovery of the knee by the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) scoring: age, gender, occupation, fracture type, way of medical payment, cause of injury, operation method, starting time for rehabilitation, postoperative brace installation, time from injury to operation, length of hospital stay, and presence or absence of a free intercondylar ridge fracture fragment. Results:The 63 patients were followed up for 6.0 to 7.1 months (average, 6.1 months). The HSS knee scores ranged from 45 to 100 points (average, 92.4 points). The HSS knee scores were significantly different between different fracture types ( P<0.05). The HSS scores were significantly higher for the patients without a free intercondylar ridge fracture fragment than for those with ( P<0.05). Multiple linear regression model analysis of the 5 variables with P<0.02 in the single factor analysis (age, fracture type, way of medical payment, hospital stay and presence or absence of a free intercondylar ridge fracture fragment) and HSS scores showed that only fracture type and presence or absence of a free intercondylar ridge fracture fragment had a significant impact on the knee function. Their regression equation was Y=125.591-7.790a-17.277b (Y indicates HSS score, a indicates fracture type and b indicates presence or absence of a free intercondylar ridge fracture fragment). Conclusions:The short-term prognosis for tibial plateau fractures of comprehensive types Ⅰ&Ⅱ (simple ones) may be better than that for tibial plateau fractures of comprehensive types Ⅲ, Ⅳ, Ⅴ&Ⅵ (complicated ones). For patients with a free intercondylar ridge fracture fragment on their lateral knee X-ray film, effective reduction and fixation is indicated but is not for those without.

At present, the objective of cutting and pruning Cistanche deserticola is to harvest in successive years and enhance the harvesting yield and quality of C. deserticola in the process of the artificial cultivating C. deserticola. An experiment was conducted focusing on cutting and pruning C. deserticola in artificial forests of Haloxylon ammodendron drip-irrigated with saline water at the hinter-land of the Taklimakan desert, according to different growth stages and lengths. The results were following: (1) The effect of cutting on C. deserticola was similar to that of pruning, which resulted in three kinds of morphological types, not related to the bloom and size of C. deserticola. (2) The growth forms were diversified after pruning. Among them, there had sprouting new body, died or maintaining life with no sprouting, mildewed on its surface layer, etc. However, some of new bodies were sprouting from the lower part of the old body. The death rate of bloomed C. deserticola was higher than that of the underground, and the death rate of the 40 cm in stubble height for C. deserticola was higher than those with the stubble height of 20 cm and 5 cm. (3) Most of the diameter of living C. deserticola after pruning was increasing, but some of them changed little. (4) The mildew and rot of C. deserticola and the broken of the roots of the H. ammodendron and the fallen of the point of the inoculated when it was dug, which would cause the death of the C. deserticola. On the other, the yield-increasing effect and the economic benefit of the techniques of the pruning of Cistanche would need further research and evaluate. Therefore, the application of this technique needs to be cautious.

Chinese Journal of Virology 2010;26(6):437-442
To analyze the epidemiological and etiological characteristics of Hand-Foot-and-Mouth disease (HFMD) in Shanghai in 2009, epidemiological data was retrieved from the National Notifiable Disease Report System (NNDRS). Nucleic acid of enterovirus (EV) was detected by real-time RT-PCR from 799 HFMD cases from 15 districts/counties in Shanghai; the complete sequences of VP1 encoding region of several identified EV71 strains and sequences of VP4 encoding region of several untyped EV were determined and analyzed. Analysis and summary of the epidemiological data was conducted with Microsoft Excel, and sequence analyses were conducted with both BioEdit and MEGA software. Untyped EV was identified through comparing the VP4 sequence to sequence database using BLAST online service. It was showed that all the 18 districts/counties had reported HFMD cases; children less than 6 years old were the most susceptible population group; the peak of epidemics of HFMD was from April to July; EV71 and Coxsackievirus A16 (CA16) were the major pathogens for this epidemic, but the constituent ratio of EV71 and CA16 was different in different months and regions; CA16 infection was mainly responsible for the mild HFMD, but EV71 for most of the severe cases; EV71 strains of Shanghai were clustered with representatives of subgenotype C4a and showed the highest identity to them, based on the sequence analyses of VP1 encoding region; 2 of the untyped EV were identified as CA2 and CA10 respectively. All the results indicated that EV71 and CA16 were the major pathogens for the epidemic of HFMD in Shanghai, 2009; the circulating EV71 belonged to subgenotype C4a. Besides, other types of EV (for example: CA2 and CA10) were also responsible for a few of the HFMD cases.

Chinese Journal of Contemporary Pediatrics 2012;14(4):267-270
OBJECTIVETo study the characteristics of genotype spectrum and hematologic parameters in children with HbH disease in the North Guangxi region.
METHODSHbH disease was identified by clinical manifestations, routine blood tests and hemoglobin electrophoresis in 166 children who came form the North Guangxi region. Genotypes were determined by Multi-PCR combined with PCR reverse dot blot. DNA sequencing was used when the genotype could not be identified by regular methods.
RESULTSOf the 166 children with HbH disease, 8 genotypes were identified: --SEA/-α3.7 (82 cases), --SEA/-α4.2 (40 cases), --SEA/αCSα (38 cases), --SEA/αQSα (1 case), --SEA/αWSα (1 case), --SEA/αCD43/44 (-C) α (1 case), --SEA/-α3.7 plus CD17 (A→T) (1 case) and --SEA/-α4.2 plus CD41-42(-TTCT) (1 case). One case was confirmed as the heterozygote of --SEA and an unknown mutation. In the 134 cases with complete medical data, 2 had normal hemoglobin levels, 36 manifested mild anemia, 90 manifested moderate anemia, and 6 (genotype: --SEA/αCSα) showed severe anemia because of the coexistence of infection. Children with the genotype of --SEA/-α3.7 (69 cases), --SEA/-α4.2 (31 cases) and --SEA/αCSα (34 cases) had hemoglobin levels of 62-120, 69-127 and 34-110 g/L respectively. The hemoglobin level in the --SEA/αCSα group was significantly lower than in the deletional HbH disease group (genotypes: --SEA/-α3.7 and --SEA/-α4.2 ) (P<0.05). In contrast, MCV levels in the --SEA/αCSα group were significantly higher than in the deletional HbH disease group (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONSThe genotype spectrum of HbH disease is diverse in the North Guangxi region. Deletional genotype is prevalent. The disease is heterogeneous. The children with --SEA/αCSα HbH disease have severer anemia and higher MCV levels than those with deletional HbH disease.
