Three cases of intestinal lipoma near the ileocecal valve are described. In patients of cecal and ileocecal valve lipoma, they had right lower quadrant abdominal pain secondary to partial intestinal obstruction. In rarely developed segmental lipomatosis of the ileum, the patient had right abdominal mass and pain to fecal impaction of the diverticula. Diagnosis may be made by an abnormal roentgenographic pattern and confirmed by colonoscopy. Surgical removal of the affected segment results in cure in symptomatic patients.

Yeungnam University Journal of Medicine 1991;8(2):202-208
Hand injury in children was increased due to multiple environmental risks and failed attention of parents to children in rapidly developing society. By the results of this evaluation in 37 cases, it was summarized as follows. First, hand injuries in children most commonly occurs in spring, and occurs more commonly in the children at the age of high activity. The most common level of injury is zone I by microreplantation zone, and zone II by tendon injury zone. The more desirable results were obtained by full thickness skin graft and composite graft if it were possible. For the better functional results compare to adults, the methods and procedures must be constructed after more evaluation with more clinical cases. In the cases of pediatric hand injury, the most important fact is prevention of injury, with the close attention by parents, and the second is appropriate diagnosis and treatment for more functional results.

Hyperkeratosis of the nipple and areola is a rare skin disordr characterized clinically by thickening and discoloration of the skin of the areola and/or nipple and pathoiog cally by papillomaosis or acanthosis-nigricans like changes. We report a case of hyperkeratosis of the nipple and areola occuring in a woman with no underlying endocrinopathy and no other additional hyperkeratotic conditions. Ttie iresent case seems to be the nevoid form by the Levy-Franckel classification. Treatment with topical medications including steroids and keratolytic agents produced no improvement. Therefore we recommeneded surgical excision because the paient was greatly disturbed by the appearance of the lesions. Surgical excision and full thickness skin graft were performed sucessfully.
