1.Effects of angiotensin Ⅳ on growth of cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(05):-
AIM: To study the effects of angiotensin Ⅳ(Ang Ⅳ) on growth of cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes.METHODS: Cardiomyocytes isolated from neonatal SD rat were cultured in vitro and divided into groups: control DMEM,10~(-6) mol/L Ang Ⅳ, 10~(-5) mol/L Ang Ⅳ.The effects of Ang Ⅳ were assayed as follows: protein synthesis was determined by modified Bradford method, and cell cycle by flow cytometry.RESULTS: Ang Ⅳ promoted protein synthesis(P

Objective: To analyze the influence of long-term swimming training on spatial learning-memory in rats and its relationship with cyclic adenosine monophosphate(cAMP) and cyclic guanosine monophosphate(cGMP) signal transduction pathway. Method: After 3 times adaptable swimming exercises (30min each time), 40 male SD rats were divided into 2 groups: control group (CR, n=20) and exercises, group (TR, n=20). CR group didn't swim, and TR group swam without burden (6 times/week, 60 min each time). After 8 weeks training, 10 rats were selected from both groups respectively for examing of Morris water maze test. Radioimmunoassay was used to measure the levels of cAMP and cGMP in hippocampus and prefrontal cortex of rats. Result: ①Compared with CR group, in TR group learning-memory improved in a certain extent: ②Compared with CR group, in TR group, the level of cAMP in hippocampus enhanced very obviously (P<0.01), the cAMP/cGMP ratio enhanced obviously (P<0.05); in prefrontal cortex the levels of cAMP and cAMP/cGMP ratio enhanced obviously (P<0.05). Conclusion: Swimming training for 8 weeks improved the spatial learning-memory of rats in a certain extent, and elevated the level of cAMP and cAMP/cGMP ratio in hippocampus and prefrontal cortex of rats obviously. It is suggested that exercises might affect learning-memory by cAMP and cGMP signal transduction pathway.
6.The exploration of teaching model in anesthesia training for standardized training residents
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2011;10(4):459-461
Anesthesia related skills training is an important component of standardized residency training plan.Attention should be paid to the clinical thinking ability, preoperative assessment capacity, sterile concepts and technologies, cardiopulmonary brain recovery skills and teamwork ability cultivation during the rotation of resident physieians and resident surgeons, and comprehensive and scientific examination system should be established

Medical students should study and enlarge their medical terminology from their medical English courses as well as bilingual courses. This ability is a key part in the cultivation of high-levelled medical talents. However, medical words are special from general English in three parts:long, great in numbers and difficult to read. These characteristics leave the medical students in a hard situation in their promotion of medical terminology. If the students are provided and guided with a convenient and efficient software based on modem education technology, they can achieve much better results. The audio medical English terminology corpus can help the medical students achieve their goal in promotion of medical termi-nology.

Cathepsin S is one of the cathepsins that distributes generally at lysosomes of histiocyte in humans body.It has variety of actions when it is unbalancing, including promote inflammation, atherosclerosis, diabetes and obesity, etc.Studies in recent years have demonstrated that there are certain correlations of adiponectin with vascular risk factor and cerebrovascular disease.

Objective To study the relationship between ambulatory arterial stiffness index and extent of coronary atherosclerosis. Methods All subjects were underwent coronary CT angiography.Ambulatory arterial stiffness index(AASI) was measured before coronary CT angiography.AASI value between different periods in each group were calculated and compared. Results AASI between different periods in the normal control group and coronary heart disease group existed statistical difference (P < 0.05).The extent of coronary sclerosis and AASI between different periods in different coronary artery lesions groups were statistically different(P <0.05),AASI was proportional to the degree of coronary sclerosis,24 h AASI,DAASI,NAA SI were related to extent of coronary atherosclerosis lesions, the correlation coefficient between NAASI and extent of coronary atherosclerosis was the largest. Conclusion AASI night is related to coronary atherosclerosis most closely, namely the higher the value of the nighttime AASI,the greater the degree of coronary atherosclerosis.
