1.Effects of angiotensin Ⅳ on growth of cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(05):-
AIM: To study the effects of angiotensin Ⅳ(Ang Ⅳ) on growth of cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes.METHODS: Cardiomyocytes isolated from neonatal SD rat were cultured in vitro and divided into groups: control DMEM,10~(-6) mol/L Ang Ⅳ, 10~(-5) mol/L Ang Ⅳ.The effects of Ang Ⅳ were assayed as follows: protein synthesis was determined by modified Bradford method, and cell cycle by flow cytometry.RESULTS: Ang Ⅳ promoted protein synthesis(P

Objective: To analyze the influence of long-term swimming training on spatial learning-memory in rats and its relationship with cyclic adenosine monophosphate(cAMP) and cyclic guanosine monophosphate(cGMP) signal transduction pathway. Method: After 3 times adaptable swimming exercises (30min each time), 40 male SD rats were divided into 2 groups: control group (CR, n=20) and exercises, group (TR, n=20). CR group didn't swim, and TR group swam without burden (6 times/week, 60 min each time). After 8 weeks training, 10 rats were selected from both groups respectively for examing of Morris water maze test. Radioimmunoassay was used to measure the levels of cAMP and cGMP in hippocampus and prefrontal cortex of rats. Result: ①Compared with CR group, in TR group learning-memory improved in a certain extent: ②Compared with CR group, in TR group, the level of cAMP in hippocampus enhanced very obviously (P<0.01), the cAMP/cGMP ratio enhanced obviously (P<0.05); in prefrontal cortex the levels of cAMP and cAMP/cGMP ratio enhanced obviously (P<0.05). Conclusion: Swimming training for 8 weeks improved the spatial learning-memory of rats in a certain extent, and elevated the level of cAMP and cAMP/cGMP ratio in hippocampus and prefrontal cortex of rats obviously. It is suggested that exercises might affect learning-memory by cAMP and cGMP signal transduction pathway.

Objective To study the relationship between ambulatory arterial stiffness index and extent of coronary atherosclerosis. Methods All subjects were underwent coronary CT angiography.Ambulatory arterial stiffness index(AASI) was measured before coronary CT angiography.AASI value between different periods in each group were calculated and compared. Results AASI between different periods in the normal control group and coronary heart disease group existed statistical difference (P < 0.05).The extent of coronary sclerosis and AASI between different periods in different coronary artery lesions groups were statistically different(P <0.05),AASI was proportional to the degree of coronary sclerosis,24 h AASI,DAASI,NAA SI were related to extent of coronary atherosclerosis lesions, the correlation coefficient between NAASI and extent of coronary atherosclerosis was the largest. Conclusion AASI night is related to coronary atherosclerosis most closely, namely the higher the value of the nighttime AASI,the greater the degree of coronary atherosclerosis.
8.Genetics Research of Parkinson's Disease
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(07):-
Parkinson's disease(PD) is one of the most common neurological degenerative diseases with unknown causes and pathogenesis, and may be associated with genetic and environmental factors.Recent studies showed that PD had genetic basis.Genetics research of PD has been a hot topic nowadays, which provides hope for revealing the pathogenesis of PD.
9.Study on Pathogenesis of Complex Syndrome of Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders in 72 cases
Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1993;0(06):-
Objective:To probe distribution law and pathogenesis of TCM complex symptoms of functional dyspepsia and irritable bowel syndrome. Methods:Generally recognized criteria was to establish database of comprehensive analysis of the data gained by the four methods of diagnosis, and analyze with SPSS8.0.Results:Syndrome distribution was most closely related with spleen deficiency, accounting for 66.7%;and the next, with stagnation of liver-Qi,accounting for 40.3%;the last, with the kidney, only accounting for 5.6%.Conclusion:Cause of disease and inducing factors of this disease are closely correlated with pathogenic cold, diet of lipids, mental depression, prolonged disease, wound due to abdominal operation. The disease is located at the stomach, intestine with most coexistence of deficiency and excess, and spleen deficiency is the key of pathogenesis.

Objective To investigate the relationship between plasma concentration of osteopontin (OPN) and disease activity in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).Methods The plasma concentration of OPN in 28 healthy controls and 38 SLE patients was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results The plasma concentration of OPN was significantly higher in SLE patients compared to that in the healthy controls (420?203 ng/mL vs 73?14 ng/mL,P<0.001),in the patients with proteinuria com- pared to that in the patients without proteinuria (623?88 ng/mL vs 288?135 ng/mL,P<0.001),in the patients with active disease compared to that in those with inactive disease (529?143 ng/mL vs 185?66ng/mL,P<0.001),in the patients before treatment compared to that in the patients after treatment (556?130 ng/mL vs 142?22 ng/mL,P<0.001).The plasma concentration of OPN in patients with arthritis was not different from those without arthritis (489?153 ng/mL vs 375?222 ng/mL,P>0.05).Plasma concentration of OPN showed a significant positive correlation with systemic lupus erythematosus disease ac- tivity index (SLEDAI) (r=0.93,P<0.001),but a significant negative correlation with serum C3 level (r=-0.49,P<0.05).There was no correlation between plasma concentration of OPN and antinuclear an- tibody titre, erythrocyte sedimentation rate,or serum level of C4.Conclusions These data show that plas- ma OPN level has some correlation with the SLE activity, renal damage and progression or amelioration of SLE.OPN could be involved in the pathogenesis of SLE.
