Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2014;31(4):363-366
Objective To investigate the preventive and therapeutic effects of lamivudine and entecavir on hepatitis B virus (HBV)reacti-vation among non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL)patients with chronic HBV infection during chemotherapy. Methods From January 2008 to April 2013,a total of 94 NHL patients with HBV infection were recruited from our hospital and divided into lamivudine treatment group and entecavir treatment group. The lamivudine treatment group received chemotherapy with lamivudine (100 mg/d),and the entecavir treatment group received chemotherapy with entecavir (0.5 mg/d).The rates of virological breakthrough, primary non -response,and virological breakthrough-related hepatitis flare were compared between groups. The t-test was used for comparison between two groups of independent samples;one-way analysis of variance was conducted for comparison between three groups of independent samples;the chi -square test was used to conduct intergroup comparison. Results For the patients with HBV DNA levels lower than 103 copies/ml before anti -HBV treatment,no significant difference was found in the rate of virological breakthrough or rate of hepatitis flare between lamivudine treatment group and entecavir treatment group (χ2 =1.03,P>0.05).For the patients with HBV DNA levels higher than 103 copies/ml before anti-HBV treatment, the lamivudine treatment group had a virological breakthrough rate of 37.5%,a primary non-response rate of 9.4%,a hepatitis flare rate of 28.1%,and a liver failure rate of 3.1%,and the aforementioned rates for entecavir treatment group were 3.1%,0, 0,and 0,respectively;there were significant differences in the rates of virological breakthrough and hepatitis flare between the two groups (χ2 =11.68,P<0.05;χ2 =10.47,P<0.05).Conclusion Among NHL patients with HBV infection whose HBV DNA levels are lower than 103 copies/ml,the preventive and therapeutic effects of lamivudine and entecavir on HBV reactivation are similar;among NHL patients with HBV infection whose HBV DNA levels are higher than 103 copies/ml,those treated with entecavir have lower rates of virological break-through and hepatitis flare than those treated with lamivudine, which helps patients have a smoother progress of chemotherapy.
2.The present status and prospect of antiepileptic drugs
Chinese Journal of Neurology 2021;54(1):5-8
Epilepsy is one of the five major neuropsychiatric diseases on which the World Health Organization focuses. New treatment methods are emerging, such as neuromodulation and radiofrequency ablation to remove lesions and precise treatment for gene mutation. However, antiepileptic drug therapy is still the first choice mostly. Since potassium bromide was applicated in epilepsy in 1857, which opened the prelude to the development of modern antiepileptic drugs, more than 20 kinds of antiepileptic drugs have been used in clinical practice. This article reviews the present status and future development of antiepileptic drugs at home and abroad.

4.Inertial Measurement Unit and Fall Risk Assessment in the Elderly (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2015;21(7):780-784
Falling in the elderly is a major health problem and may cause severe consequences. Fall risk assessment is important for preventing and intervening fall incidence. Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) has been introduced to evaluate motion/balance function and fall risk among the older people. Some researches indicated that it might have advantages over the usual tools, and can be used in the hospitals, communities, nursing homes, etc. IMU is a good way to measure gait variability, which may be strongly related with the risk of falls.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2000;0(01):-
Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a common gerontal disease, and percutaneouse coronary interangioplasty (PCI) has already become a main treatment in CHD. However, restenosis to some extend has limited clinical application of PCI. The advent of drug eluting stents brings optimistic prospect in preventing restenosis.

With the information section of the 187th Central Hospital of PLA as an example , the paper introduces the application of the PDCA cycle model in the quality management of its information services .As a result, it finds that the service satisfaction degree after the implementation of the PDCA cycle is significantly higher than that before the implementation .It indicates that the management method with the PDCA cycle can optimize the information service process and promote the continuous improvement of information service quality .

Objective To study the characteristics of inhibition on hemozoin formation by chloroquine under in vitro condition. Methods Under different concentrations(0.5-2 mol/L) of sodium acetate(NaAc) and at the pH range of 4.0-5.0, chloroquine was tested for inhibition of ?-hematin(hemozion) formation by using the HPIA(heme polymerization inhibitory activity) assay. The morphology of ?-hematin crystals was determined by light microscopy.Ultraviolet spectrophotometry was employed to measure ?-hematin content, and the size of ?-hematin crystal was analyzed by X-ray diffraction(XRD) .Results Chloroquine exhibited varied effect on ?-hematin formation, depending on pH value and Na+ concentration. When the NaAc concentration increased from 0.5 mol/L(pH 4.2) to 2 mol/L(pH 4.8), the chloroquine inhibitory effect also increased. Results suggested that there exists a threshold pH, below which the ?-hematin formation escalates and chloroquine inhibition declines, and at or above which chloroquine exerts a stronger inhibitory effect on ?-hematin formation. With the increase of pH from 4.4 to 4.8, the crystallinity and the size of crystal changed from 6.93% and 357 to 6.32% and 264 , respectively. When pH reached to 5, no more ?-hematin formed.Chloroquine could reduce the crystallinity and crystal size of ?-hematin at same pH value.Morphology analysis on the samples was consistent with the above results. Conclusion Chloroquine inhibits hemozoin formation only when the pH value is at or above threshold pH.

ObjectiveTo probe the short-term efficacy of endovascu lar stent-as sisted angioplasty for basilar artery stenosis.MethodsTwenty p atients with s ymptomatic basilar artery stenosis were treated by angioplasty using a balloon-e xpandable coronary stent.ResultsThe basilar artery caliber r eturned to norma l size in 12 cases and restored by more than 80% in the remaining 8 cases. No tr ansient ischemic attack (TIA), stroke, or other peri-operative complications rec urred. Follow-up angiography in 13 patients revealed no re-stenosis.Co nclusionsShort-term efficacy of endovascular stenting for basilar arte ry stenosis is promising.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(08):-
Objective To investigate the upper airway caliber and the corresponding pharyngeal wall in obstructive sleep apnea syndrome(OSAS) by spiral CT.Methods Seven patients with OSAS confirmed by polysomnography(PSG) underwent spiral CT scan. The thickness of posterior pharyngeal wall of retropalatal region(RP),retroglossal region(RG) and epiglottal region(EPG) were measured. Results ①Among 7 patients,5 had only RP obstruction, and 2 had RP and RG regions obstruction;②The length and width of soft palate were 44.28 mm?1.16 mm(normally 41.90 mm?1.95 mm) and 9.42 mm?0.46 mm(normally 5.84 mm?0.24 mm) respectively;③In OSAS patients, the thickness of posterior pharyngeal wall of RP,RG and EPG region were statistically larger than that of the normal group. Conclusion Spiral CT is of practical value in evaluating the pharyngeal airway obstruction of OSAS.
