It may directly affect coronary heart disease, stroke, etc. through various mechanisms such as inflammation, immune response, and damage to endothelial cells. It could also play an important role in the formation of cardiovascular disease risk factors such as atherosclerosis, hypertension, hyperhomocysteinemia, and dyslipidemia. However, domestic and international research results are still inconsistent, and a large number of experiments are still required to confirm it to take effective measures to control the incidence of cardiovascular disease. This article reviews the prevalence of Helicobacter pylori and cardiovascular disease, the interaction mechanisms and the status of relevant domestic and international researches.
