The paper analyzed the organizational form and management status of medical volunteer students participating in community health service, to explore the impact of community health service on medical volunteer students and volunteer recipients. It summarized the present situation and problems of medical volunteer students participating in community health service, in order to provide reference for medical students to play their professional value in participating in community health services.

Objective To construct the luciferase report vector carrying a disintegrin and metalloprotease 10(adam10) gene promoter,to screen its stable expression cell line and to analyze its activity. Methods The genome DNA of human neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells was extracted as the template. The adam10 gene promoter was amplified by PCR and was cloned into luciferase reporter vector pGL4.17.The adam10 gene promoter luciferase reporter vector pGL4.17-adam10 was constructed and transfected in to SH-SY5Y cells(pGL4.17 vector without promotoer as the negative control and pGL4.17 vector with CMV promoter as the positive control). Then the stable expression cell line was screened by G418 and its fluorescence activity was detect after treating with 1 tμmol/L retinoic acid(RA) for 4 d.Results About 438 bp adam10 gene promoter was successfully amplified by PCR.The pGL4.17-adam10 vector was correct by pCR and double enzyme digestion identification. The cell line stably expressing adam10 gene promoter was obtained after transfecting SH-SY5Y cells by this vector and screening by G418,which had stronger transcriptional activity by detection;1 μmol/L RA could induce high efficiency expression of adam10 gene promoter. Conclusion Human adam10 gene promoter luciferase vector is successfully constructed.adam10 gene promoter can be stably expressed in SH-SY5Y cells, which provides a basis for deeply studying adam10 gene expression regulation, polymorphism analysis and high-throughput drug screening.

Objective To evaluate the health problems existed in the disabled elderly in nursing homes in Zhejiang province and assess the knowledge, behavior and status of each existed health problem. Methods By cross-sectional study, a total of 50 disabled elderly in four nursing homes in Zhejiang province were assessed. Results The common health problems of the disabled elderly in nursing homes were personal care, oral health, social contact, physical activity, vision, neuro-musculo-skeletal function, mental health, cognition, medication regimen, and pain. Among the common health problems, the knowledge, behavior and status in personal care, oral health, mental health, and pain were more severer than others. Conclusions A lot of health problems exist among the disabled elderly in nursing homes. A comprehensive and targeted care should be used to improve patients′health.

Objective To investigate the self-care agency in disabled elders of community and to explore effects of medical care and nursing service integration on self-care agency in disabled elders with different degrees of disability in community. Methods We traced and investigated a total of 42 disabled elders signed medical care and nursing service integration with a community. The self-care agency was compared with the Chinese Version of the Self-care Ability Scale for the Elderly (SASE-CHI) before and six months after service objects accepting services. Results The average of self-care ability of community disabled elders was (48.69±12.11) with a low level. Six months after accepting medical care and nursing service integration, the score of self-care ability of disabled elders increased along with (53.07±8.68) in total score of self-care ability, (21.38±3.76) in objective dimension and (25.62±4.39) in skill dimension. There were significant differences in scores of self-care ability compared before and after accepting service (t=-2.346,-2.592, -2.731;P<0.05). There were small changes in elders with mild disability before and after accepting services (P>0.05). The total score of self-care ability and score of skill dimension increased in elders with moderate and severe ability after accepting services, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions The self-care ability of community disabled elders is in a low level. The medical care and nursing service integration can improve self-care ability of community disabled elders. However, there is great room to upgrade.
