Objective To study the clinical effect and influence of Feiliuping Ⅱ on the quality of life quality of lung cancer patients. Methods 60 patients of later stage of lung cancer with definite diagnosis and stages in pathology were chosen, who had approximate condition. Among them, 30 cases were in Chemotherapy-only group, and 30 cases were in Feiliuping Ⅱ +Chemotherapy group. Chemotherapy was the treatment in Chemotherapy-only group. Besides chemotherapy, Feiliuping Ⅱ was taken orally, 20 g tid poin Feiliuping Ⅱ +Chemotherapy group. Three months were a period of treatment. To evaluating effect of two groups from clinical curative effect, symptoms changes, and quality of life. Results After treatment, stable rate of focus were notably higher in Feiliuping Ⅱ +Chemotherapy group than that in Chemotherapy-only group (P

Objective To observe the effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) transplantation on the expression of growth associated protein-43 (GAP-43) in rats after spinal cord injury (SCI). Methods The SCI models were made by impacting at the level of T11 segment. After modeling, the rats were randomly and equally divided into control group (n=18) and observation group (n=18). 1 week after injury, DMEM/F12 medium 0.1 ml was injected into tail vein of rats in the control group, and an equal volume of BMSCs suspension was injected in the observation group. 1, 2, 4, 8 weeks after SCI, the hindlimb function was evaluated by the Basso-Beattie-Bresnahan (BBB) score. 2, 4, 8 weeks after SCI, the expression of GAP-43 mRNA was detected by RT-PCR, and the expression of GAP-43 was detect-ed by the immunohistochemistry. Results 2, 4, 8 weeks after SCI, compared with the control group, The BBB score increased, the expres-sion of GAP-43 mRNA and GAP-43 increased in the observation group (P<0.05). Conclusion BMSCs transplantation can improve the ex-pression of GAP-43 in gene and protein level, and then promote the repair of SCI.

score 1, 2, 4, 8 weeks after SCI, somatosensory evoked potential (SEP) and spinal cord histopathological examination 2, 4, 8 weeks after SCI. Results The difference of BBB score was not significant between the groups 1 week after SCI (P>0.05), but improved more in group B than in group A 2,4,8 weeks after SCI (P<0.01), as well as the latency and wave amplitude of SEP (P<0.01). There were scar tissue and syringomyelia in injured spinal cord, and the size of syringomyelia was larger in group A than in group B. Neurofilament 200 (NF200) expressed 2, 4, 8 weeks after SCI, and was more in group B than in group A (P< 0.01). Conclusion Du meridian electroacupuncture can promote the recovery of neurological function in rats after spinal cord injury.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of minimally invasive modified transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) combined with unilateral nail holding system in patients with extreme lateral lumbar disc herniation. Methods Thirty-eight patients with extreme lateral lumbar disc herniation were divided into minimally invasive modified TLIF combined with unilateral nail holding system group (observation group) and conventional open TLIF group (control group) with 19 cases each according to random digital table method. The therapeutic efficacy was compared between 2 groups. Results Surgery was completed successfully in 2 groups, and there was no perioperative complications. The amount of bleeding and hospital stay length in observation group were significantly less than those in control group:(152 ± 82) ml vs.(258 ± 104) ml and (6.5 ± 2.3) d vs.(12.7 ± 3.6) d,and the rate of fusion and score of Japan Orthopaedic Association 6 months after surgery in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group:18/19 vs.10/19 and (14.5 ± 2.1) scores vs.(12.6 ± 1.9) scores. There were statistical differences (P < 0.01).There was no statistical difference in complications between 2 groups (P > 0.05).Conclusion Minimally invasive modified TLIF combined with unilateral nail holding system in patients with extreme lateral lumbar disc herniation has less blood loss and shorter hospital stay, and it is effective and safe.
