Objective To explore the effects of intestinal trefoil factor (ITF) on interleukin-8(IL-8) and malondiadehyde (MDA) of neonatalrats' intestinal tissue post necrotizing enterocolitis(NEC), to investigate whether ITF has some protective effects on NEC.. Methods Thirty-two neonatal tats of NEC model were devided into four groups, (1)NEC+FTF 0.5 mg, (2) NEC+ITF 0.2 mg, (3) NEC, and (4) all others. After NEC model of neonatal rats was established and the ITF was treated, all the neonatal rats were returned to their mothers. In the 4th day, all the subjects were put to death. Intestinal tissue located at the boundary of ileum and cecum was obtained to observe hostological changes. Other intestinal sissue was removed to homogenate. Than the homogenate was centrifuged, supernates were used to determine the content of IL-8 and MDA. Results Content of IL-8 was dramatically less in group A and B than group C, respectively (29.722?7.134)、(30.512? 8.230)、(39.379 5?4.420) [pg/(mg?pro)](P0.05). Content of MDA was dramatically less in group A and B than group C, respectively(2.267?0.267)、(2.154?0.301)、(3.378?0.835)[nmol/(mg?pro)](P

Objective:To sutdy effects of Compound Anmei Oral Liquid on spontaneous activity, sleep, convulsion of experimental mice. Methods: The effects of oral liquid were observed in the spontaneous activity and the sleep time of mice when they were given Nembuta in a threshold dose or a subliminal dose and its anti convulsant effect to investigate the actions of oral liquid. Results: This oral liquid could inhibit the spontaneous activity and cooperate with pentobarbital sodium to effect the sleep time of mice. It also resist convulsion. Conclusions: Compound Anmei Oral Liquid has obvious sedation, hypnosis and anti convulsant effect.

BACKGROUND:Biocompatibility is a key parameter in drug delivery systems. In general, to obtain a proper microparticle carrier, the materials themselves should have excellent biocompatibility. Besides, spherical degree and surface smoothness both have significant influence on biocompatibility.OBJECTIVE: To obtain spherical and smooth poly (lactide-co-glycolide)microparticles, so as to improve the property of biocompatibility.DESIGN: Open experiment.SETTING: Research Laboratory of Biomaterials, Jinan University.MATERIALS: The experiment was conducted in the Research Laboratory of Biomaterials, Jinan University, between June 2004 and January 2005.The materials included poly(lactide-co-glycolide), lysozyme and poly (vinyl alcohol). The other reagents were analytical pure. The instruments included a homogenizer, a mechanical stirrer, an ultrasonic cleaning instrument, a scanning electron microscope and an atomic force microscope.METHODS: ① Preparation of microparticles: Lysozyme was selected as a model protein for encapsulation into poly(lactide-co-glycolide) using a dou-ble emulsion solvent extraction/evaporation method. Three separation methods, namely direct vacuum freeze-drying, filtration and centrifugation, were investigated and compared. ② Observation under the scanning electron microscope: We observed the effect of three separation methods on the shape of microparticles. All the samples were attached to copper mounts and coated with gold, and then were observed with an electron microscope.③ Observation under the atomic force microscope: The morphological structure of the surface was analyzed with atomic force microscope.RESULTS: ① Observation results of scanning electron microscope: Compared with direct vacuum freeze-drying and filtration, centrifugation method was more efficacious in obtaining spherical and smooth microparticles based on the scanning electron microscope pictures. But results also warned us to be more careful when we prepared scanning electron microscope samples using ultrasonic to separate the aggregates. ② Atomic force microscope results indicated that the surface was smooth with the average roughness of 48.55 nm.CONCLUSION: By investigating the influence of different downstream processes, we can obtain spherical and smooth products. Besides, a new one-step method is put forward in constructing some microparticle-combined polymer based scaffolds because the combined scaffolds and microparticles are formed synchronously.

OBJECTIVETo study the influence of three kinds of retainers on the abutment movement of removable partial dentures (RPDs) for restoring the dentition with unilateral distal-extended tooth missing.
METHODSThe combined clasp, the extension clasp and the telescopic crown were designed to retain RPDs. When food chip was masticated between dentitions, the displacement of abutments was measured by a high-sensitive-laser-transferring-detector, and then the data was statistically analyzed.
RESULTSAll of abutments showed the inclination, torsion and vertical translocation. Of them, abutments with telescopic crowns had the lowest horizontal torsion (P < 0.01) and the highest vertical translocation (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONSCompared with the combined clasp and the extension clasp, the telescopic crowns enable abutments to bear the load more axial and the stress to be distributed more even, so the design of the telescopic crown may be considered more favourable for the health of abutments.

Objective:To investigate mucosal injury after high-dose methotrexate (HD-MTX) chemotherapy in treatment of children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), and to analyze the association with methotrexate blood concentration, risk stratification and clinical efficacy. Methods:The data of 95 children with ALL who received 539 times of HD-MTX chemotherapy in the First Hospital of Harbin from November 2015 to October 2018 were retrospectively analyzed, and the association of mucosal injury with methotrexate blood concentration, disease risk degree and clinical efficacy was also analyzed. Results:Among 95 children who received 539 times of HD-MTX chemotherapy, the total incidence of mucosal injury was 8.4% (45/539); the incidence of mucosal injury was 4.6% (11/239), 7.6% (8/105), 13.3% (26/195), respectively in the low-risk group, middle-risk group and high-risk group. With the elevation of disease risk, the incidence of mucosal injury was increased ( χ2 = 10.787, P < 0.05). There was no correlation of the degree of mucosal injury with methotrexate blood concentration and disease risk degree (all P > 0.05), and the mucosal injury was not related with the clinical efficacy ( P > 0.05). Conclusion:After the application of HD-MTX in children with ALL, adjustment of the dose of rescue drug by monitoring of methotrexate blood concentration can improve the safety of therapeutic drugs.

The male patient of middle-age was admitted to Zhujiang Hospital, Southern Medical University on September 5, 2020, due to wear and rupture of the left foot hallux for more than 10 days, gradually developed swelling and blackening of the left foot and accompanied by drowsiness for 1day. Results from etiological examination of his wound secretions suggested the mixed infection of Wohlfahrtiimonas chitiniclastica and Enterococcus faecalis. The disease progressed rapidly and the patient still died of septic shock after anti-infective treatment. The infection of W. chitiniclastica is rare and has a great relationship with poor hygiene and chronic open wounds. It is necessary to use matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry or 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing for strain identification. Moreover, it is recommended to use cephalosporins or carbapenems as first-line drugs due to the poor prognosis of patients with bloodstream infections.
