Objective: To study the relationship between mental health and achievement motivation of teachers. Methods: 322 high school teachers completed SCL-90 and Achievement Motivation Scale. Results: The percent of high-score teachers with at least one SCL-90 subscale scored more than 3 is more than 5%.There is obvious correlation between the score of SCL-90 and the AMS's.Conclusion: The high level of achievement-seeking or the high level of failure-avoiding is harmful to the mental health of teachers.

Ophthalmology in China 2006;0(05):-
Objective This study is to identify the presence of superoxide anion-generating system in human lens epithelial cells using arachidonic acid (AA) as the stimulator.Design Experimental study.Participants Human lens epithelial cells B3 (HLE B3). Methods Confluent human lens epithelial cells (HLE B3) were subjected to stimulation by AA and its derivatives. The generation of su- peroxide anion was quantified with a luminometer (LumiStar BMG) immediately upon AA and its derivatives addition.Cells preloaded with superoxide dismutase (SOD) or mannitol were used as negative controls and cells mixed with 3% ethanol (solvent for AA) were used as baseline.Cells were preloaded with inhibitors 30 minutes before luminometer measurement.A time-and concentration-depen- dent study on the AA-stimulated activation of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) was carried out using western blot analysis. Main Outcome Measures Superoxide generation, phosphorylation of MAPK.Results AA at dosage of 30-150 mM proportionally in- duced luminescence in HLE B3 cells, but was ineffective in cells preloaded with SOD or mannitol.DPI,a non-specific NADPH oxidase inhibitor eliminated AA-induced superoxide anion generation partially.Leinoleic acid, stearic acid,eicosa-11Z,14Z,17Z-trienoic acid (20:3) and eicosa-11Z,14Z-dienoic acid (20:2) were ineffective. The generation of superoxide anion was not contributed by cyclooxyge- nase or the cytochrome p450 pathway since indomethacin (inhibitor for cyclooxygenase) or ketoconazole (inhibitor for cytochrome p450) could not eradicate the stimulatory effect of AA.While CDC,a specific inhibitor for lipoxygenase could eliminate superoxide generation partially. The specific inhibitor for 5-lipoxygenase AA861 completely blocked the generation of superoxide anion.Western blot analysis of the cell lysate showed that AA at the concentrations of 30-150 mM progressively activated ERK and JNK.They were transiently ac- tivated between 2.5-30 minutes. The activations of ERK and JNK were dose-dependent and time-dependent.Conclusions Inhibition of superioxide anion generation may be a new approach to block lens epithelial cell proliferation and post-capsule opacification.

Objective:To discuss the clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment experience of a case of lateral ectopic thyroid. Methods:The patient with lateral ectopic thyroid was diagnosed by thyroid color ultrasound and single-photon emission computed tomography(SPECT)-CT examination. The right thyroidectomy and the thyroid tissue in cervical section Ⅳ of the patient were removed by received the operation. The pathological examination after operation was performed. The daily usage of euthyrox after operation was 50 μg.Results:The patient recovered well, who accepted 10 months follow-up with normal life and stable condition, and had no recurrence and metastasis. Conclusion:The mechanism of lateral ectopic thyroidy is not clear yet,the surgical treatment can result in good effectiveness and better prognosis.

ObjectiveTo analysis the clinical characteristics and the high risk factors of children with cerebral palsy.MethodsClinical data of 100 children with cerebral palsy were retrospectively analyzed.Results51% of children were born with asphyxia, 42% were born prematurely, 39% were low birth body weight. 85.7% of children involved had mental retardation, 12% had hearing loss and 7% had visual impairment. 88% of children involved had abnormal cranial CT results and 46.1% had abnormal EEG. 50.0% of the children had abnormal brain stem auditory evoked potentials.ConclusionAsphyxia, prematurely birth and low birth body weight are high risk factors of cerebral palsy. Most of the children with cerebral palsy in this group are mental retarded.

AIM: To compare the safety and efficacy of conjunctival autograft transplant ( CAT ) and limbal - conjunctival autograft transplant (LCAT) for primary pterygium.
METHODS: In this prospective, randomized and controlled clinical study, 120 patients ( 120 eyes ) diagnosed with primary pterygium were collected in NO. 474 Hospital of Chinese PLA from January 2014 to January 2015. The 120 patients enrolled in the study in turn, and divided into two group by the odd and even number. The odd number underwent CAT and the even number underwent LCAT.
RESULTS:One hundred and seven patients (107 eyes) completed the follow-up of 1a, including 54 patients (54 eyes) from the CAT group and 53 patients (53 eyes) from the LCAT group. Four patients (4 eyes, recurrence rate 7. 4%) in the CAT group and 2 patients ( 2 eyes, recurrence rate 3. 8%) in the LCAT group developed recurrence. However, there were no significant in recurrence rate between CAT group and LCAT group (P =0. 678).
CONCLUSION: CAT and LCAT might be both effective treatment for primary pterygium for reducing the recurrence rate of pterygium. However, LCAT is the optimal surgical method for primary pterygium.

Objective To elucidate the effects of different modes of partial parenteral nutrition (PPN)on immunological function of T-lymphocyte in non small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients during chemotherapy. Methods Ninety-three patients with non-small cell lung cancer were randomly divided into three groups:the control group(30 patients),the low dose of PPN(32 patients) and the high dose of NNP(31 patients).Exactly the same chemotherapy was applied to each of three groups.During chemotherapy, three groups were supplied the same diet, the control group received conventional treatment;the low dose group and the high dose group received additional parenteral nutritional support besides diet. The low dose group was given 250 ml 9-AA daily and the high dose group was given 500 ml 9-AA daily. The T lymphocyte subsets CD3~+,CD3~++CD4~+ ,CD3~++CD8~+ and cells were detected respectively before and after chemotherapy. Results In all of the three groups, the percentage of NK cells,CD3~+ and CD3~++CD4~+ cells were decreased significantly before and after chemotherapy(all P<0.05),In the control and low dose groups,NK cells changed more significantly after chemotherapy(P<0.01).The percentages of CD3~+,CD3~++CD4~+,CD3~++ CD4~+/CD3~++CD8~+ of the low dose group and high dose group were higher than those of the control group before and after chemotherapy(all P<0.05),the percentage of CD3~++CD8~+,CD3~++CD4~+/ CD3~++CD8~+ of the low dose group and hight dose group did not change notably(all P>0.05). Conclusions The chemotherapy on patients with NSCLC will possibly cause malnutrition and immunosuppression. The benefits of giving 9-AA to NSCLC patients who were applying PPN and undergoing chemotherapy may include antagonizing immunological function aggravation, improving nutrition status and improving immunological functions of the T lymphocytes during chemotherapy.

Traditional mineral Chinese medicine is a characteristic part of Chinese medicine, in the development of traditional Chinese medicine has its unique role. With the development of science and technology and the increase of the medical level, traditional mineral medicine research is gradually thorough and wide-ranging. In recent years, traditional mineral Chinese medicine research mainly includes the physical properties of mineral medicine, structure, chemical composition, pharmacology and treatment mechanism research. The above several aspects of research in the mineral medicine has important practical and theoretical significance. The above several aspects of research status and the problems existing in the research were briefly summarized and reviewed in this paper, and its development were discussed, to provide reference for further studies in the future.
