1.Relative cytokines in uveitis and experimental uveitis
International Eye Science 2015;(7):1172-1175
Uveitis is a group of inflammatory diseases causing serious impairment of visual function. The precise etiology and pathogenesis remain unclear. lt can be induced by infection, trauma, tumor or autoimmune response, of which autoimmune response is the most common. ln recent years, the cytokines in the process of inflammatory autoimmune diseases role has become one of research hot spots, its role in the pathogenesis and the relationship between the disease activity more and more attention. This article reviews the effects of interleukin, tumor necrosis factor, interferon and transforming growth factor-β in the pathogenesis of uveitis.

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(15):-
[Objective]To study the effect of femoral offset and hip joint center on joint function after total hip replacement, radiographic measurements were taken postoperation.[Method]A series of 92 hip joints(87 patients)were followed up.The average follow up priod was 25 monthes. The femoral offset and the position of the prothesis head center were measured in the orthophoric hip joint X-ray photograph and were compared with anatomic Fo and HJC.H arris evaluation system was used to evaluate joint function in four groups. The results were statistically analyzed, with Fisher' exact probability and P value less than 0.05 indicating significant difference.[Result]The coincidence rate of group A(both FO and HJC,27 hips)was 29.35%,group B(only Fo,23 hips)25.00%,group C(only HJC,31 hips)33.70%,group D(neither FO nor HJC,11 hips)11.96%.93.0% patients got the Harris score more than 80 for group A,73.19%(group B),74.19%(group C),27.27%(group D).The difference of Harris evaluation between A and B,A and C,A and D was significant statistically.[Conclusion]Based on the results of the study, the recovery of femoral offset and hip joint center should be considered to contribute to the healing effect after total hip replacement directly.

Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a heterogeneous disease affected by patient' s age, immunologic subtype, genetic and molecular features. In the 54th ASH annual meeting, lots of new discoveries about the biology, prognosis and treatment of ALL were reported. Here highlights of genomic profiling, new targeted therapy and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for ALL presented in this meeting are introduced.

Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2009;0(13):-
OBJECTIVE To investigate the classification and antibiotics resistance of Staphylococcus in children with septicemia in recent two years and to provide data for clinical treatment. METHODS All the blood specimens delivered by pediatrics were identified and detected the antibiotic resistance with Microscan Auto SCAN4. RESULTS Totally 268 Staphylococcus strains were collected. Among them,S. aureus was 114 strains (42.5%),coagulase-negative Staphylococcus were 154 srains. Among 114 S. aureus strains,meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) were 79 strains (69.3%). Among 154 coagulase-negative Staphylococcus strains,meticillin-resistant coagulase-negative Staphylococcus aureus (MRCNS) were 102 strains (66.2%). The drug sensitivity results showed that meticillin-resistant staphylococcus (MRS) were highly resistant to 15 commnly used antibiotics than meticillin-sensitive Staphylococcus (MSS) and showing multi-drug resistance. No vancomycin-resistant strains were found.CONCLUSIONS Children with septicemia infected by Staphylococcus are increasing recently. Identification and antibiotic resistance of clinical isolated Staphylococcus must be strengthened, and give the effective data for clinicians.

Objective To investigate the milieu-dependent differentiation of primordial germ cells(PEGs) in the acute damaged liver microenviroment. Methods After PGCs were cultured and proliferated, these cells were labelled with 5-bromo-2-deoxyuridine(BrdU),then transplanted into the acute damaged liver by CCl_4 through tail vein. Two and four weeks later, the liver was extracted and 10?m-cryostat continuous sections were obtained. The existing and differentiation of the transplanted cells were identified by immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence double staining and histochemistry for BrdU and hepatic-specific ALB,and the glycogen. Results Transplanted PGCs were found to be incorporated into the acute damaged liver and differentiated into hepatocytes, compensating for acute liver failure. Conclusion PGCs can be induced to differentiate into hepatocytes in the acute damaged liver microenvironment, and can be used for cellular hepatoplasty to treat severe liver disease.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(01):-
Aim To investigate the antagonistic action of EGCG on apoptosis of rat PC12 cell induced by MPP+.Methods PC12 cells were cultured and the apoptosis induced by MPP+(900 ?mol?L-1)was observed. The cells were randomly divided into 6 groups:blank group without any treatment,MPP+ control group, vitamin E group and EGCG groups(10,50,100 ?mol?L-1).After treatment of drugs, cell viability, leakage of LDH,morphological changes of mitochondria and apoptosis were detected by MTT,Hoechst 33342 staining, transmission electron microscope and flow cytometry, respectively. Results After treatment of cultured PC12 cells with MPP+,cell viability was decreased, leakage of LDH and apoptotic rate were increased, and mitochondria swelling, vacuole and cristae breakage were observed.Vitamin E and EGCG en-hanced cell viability, reduced the leakage of LDH and apoptotic rate, and decreased the damage degree of mitochondria. Conclusions EGCG possesses the ability of inhibiting rat PC12 cell apoptosis induced by MPP+,and its protective action may relate to its function of keeping mitochondria integrality.
