Protective effects of chlorpromazine on ischemic heart and its mechanisms were investigated in rats with acute myocardial infarction (MI). 30 SD female rats were divided into three groups. the ischemia group, being subjected MI by coronary ligation, the MI+chlorpromazine group and the control. All samples were taken at 2 hours after operation. Objective:To investigate the influential factors of mental health in rural high-school students by structural equation modeling.Methods:447 rural high-school students were tested by Mental Health test,Adolescent Self-rating Life Events Check list,Social Support Scale and Trait Coping Style questionnaire,then theoretical model were established and confirmed for the relationships of life events,social support,coping styles and mental health of rural high-school students.Results:The structural equation modeling fitted the data very well(?2/df=3.56,GFI=0.940,AGFI=0.902,NFI= 0.913,CFI=0.901,RMSEA=0.048),the theoretical model suppose was supported by the use of structural equation modeling.Conclusion:Social supports and coping styles have direct influence on mental health of rural high-school students.Life events have indirect influence on mental health through social supports and coping styles.

This article reviews the effects of interleukin, tumor necrosis factor, interferon and transforming growth factor-β in the pathogenesis of uveitis.

In order to understand the research status of HUANG Fu-mi's A-B Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, 83 pieces of literature that have been publically published since 1978 were analyzed. A summary was performed according to 7 aspects including version origin, emendation, arrangement and summary, theory discussion, clinical research, value evaluation, the rest questions, etc. It is believed that deep research work has been done on explanations, emendation and translation regarding A-B Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion. However, the exploration work on the theory and application is far from enough. Therefore, beginning from historical and cultural background, we should analyze the humanistic spirit of HUANG Fu-mi combined with A-B Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion to perform a deep exploration, so we could have a thorough and comprehensive research on HUANG Fu-mi's academic thoughts.

0.05). In 30 eyes of diabetics with phacoemulsification, 11 eyes had new macula edema after surgery and 3 eyes had significant retinal thickening. In 6 eyes with macular edema before surgery, the macular edema were aggravated in 3 eyes after surgery. The macular structural changes were not found in two control groups. Conclusion The thickness of retina is inreased after phacoemulsification in deabetics,and morbidity and its severity of postopevative macular edema are increased as well.

Objective To observe the changes of macula in patients with high myopia after phacoemulsification. Methods In 20 patients with high myopia with ocular axial length≥27 mm, optical coherence tomography (OCT) was performed on the operative and contralateral eyes 1 week before and after monocular phacoemulsification, respectively, and the OCT images of macula of the operative eyes were observed and compared. Results One week before and after phacoemulsification, the mean macular fovea thickness of the patients with high myopia was (131.6?16.37) ?m and (189.75?45.69) ?m, respectively, with a significant difference (t=2.805, P=0.01). Simultaneously, the mean macular fovea thickness of the contralateral eyes was (133.5?15.12) ?m and (133.5?14.63) ?m, respectively, with a non-significant difference (t=1.367, P=0.853). In 20 operative eyes 1 week after phacoemulsification, 3 had vitreous strand around the macula with retinal thickening, 1 had retinoschisis in macular area, and 2 had obvious retinal thickening with slight retinal edema. Conclusion Retinal thickening occurs in the patients with high myopia after phacoemulsification. Traction of retina by vitreous strand or subclinical retinoschisis may occur in some patients.

ObjectiveTo identify the differential expressed proteins,and to investigate the relationship between altered expression of annexin A4 during window of implantation [ WOI ( at day-6 after ovulatory day )] in infertile patients with endometriosis and endometrial receptivity.MethodsTwo-dimensional fluorescence differential in-gel electrophoresis (2D-DIGE) and matrix-assist laser desorption ionization-time of flight-mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS) were used to detect protein expression in endometrial WOI in 10 infertile cases with endometriosis as endometriosis group and 10 infertile cases with tubal factors as control group.The semi-quantitative validation of annexin A4 in the eutopic endometrial tissue during WOI was analyzed by western blot.Results By comparing protein profiles,there were 7 meaningful differential proteins during WOI in infertile patients with endometriosis.One protein with an isoelectric point of 5.84 and relative molecular weight of 36 100 were down regulated 348％ in samples of endometriosis group.It was identified as annexin A4 by mass spectrometry.By western blot,relative intensity of annexin A4 in endometriosis group was 7.2 ±0.9,which was lower than 17.8 ± 2.6 in control group significantly (t =7.654,P =0.002 ).ConclusionLower expresssion of annexin A4 during WOI in infertile patients with endometriosis might be associated with the decrease of endometrial receptivity.

BackgroundThe study of the molecular mechanism of visual plasticity is helpful for the explaining and prevention of strabismus and amblyopia.The effect and significance of NogoA in the strabismus and amblyopia formation are attracting more attention.ObjectiveThe present study was to investigate the expression of NogoA in 21a area of visual cortex in strabismic-induced amblyopia cats and explore the possible molecular mechanism of strabismic-induced amblyopia.MethodsSixteen 4-week old clean cats were randomizedly divided into normal group and strabismic-induced amblyopia group and eight for each group.The strabismic-induced amblyopia models were created by cutting off the external rectus in 8 cats.Pattern visual evoked potentials ( P-VEP ) were recorded 1 week after operation and compared with normal cats,and depression of amplitude and prolongation of implied time of P100 wave were as the successful criterion of model.The 200 ml paraformaldehyde was infused via heart to fax the brain under the deep anesthesia and then the cats were sacrificed and the brain cortex sections were prepared.The morphology of 21a zone of cat visual cortex was examined by haematoxylin and eosin staining,and the expressions of NogoA in 21a area of visual cortex were detected by immunohistochemistry with a monoclonal antiNogoA antibody.The use of the animals complied with the Regulations for the Administration of Affair Concerning Experimental Animals by State Science and Technology Commission.ResultsThe implied time and amplitude ratio of VEP P100 wave were (98.10±7.07)ms and (0.83±0.14) in normal group,and those in strabismic-induced amblyopia group were (108.50±6.95 )ms and (0.35 ±0.09 ),showing significant differences between two groups (t=4.450,P=0.005 ; t =5.970,P =0.005 ).The numbers of neurons were similar in 21a area of visual cortex between the two groups,but the volume of the neurons was lessen in strabismic-induced amblyopia group.The positive cell densities for NogoA were ( 387.37±2.01 ) cells/mm2,( 354.58± 1.85 ) cells/mm2 and ( 289.68± 1.81 ) cells/mm2 in layer Ⅱ/Ⅲ,Ⅳ and V/V[ respectively in strabismic-induced amblyopia group,and those in normal group were ( 161.39± 1.98 ) cells/mm2,( 128.93 ± 1.26 ) cells/mm2 and ( 96.25 ± 1.49 ) cells/mm2,indicating a significant increase in model cats ( t =- 160.400,- 201.890,- 164.740,P =0.000 ).Conclusions NogoA may play an important role in the regulation of the sensitive developmental period of visual sense and its plasticity.

Objective To explore the application of video laryngoscope in patients with pituitary adenoma during endotracheal intubation.Methods Fifty-one patients (19 males, 32 females, aged 18-71 years, ASA physical status I or II) scheduled for resection of pituitary adenoma under general anesthesia were enrolled.These patients were randomly divided into two groups: Macintosh laryngoscope Group (group M, n=25) and Video laryngoscope Group (group VL, n=26).When performing endotracheal intubation, Macintosh laryngoscope was used to expose the glottis in group M, and video laryngoscope was used in group VL.Head tilted backward angle, mouth opening, thyromental distance, neck circumference, mandibular ramus length, modified Mallampati classification and the difficulty classification of mask ventilation of the patients in two groups were recorded during peri-operation period.The Cormark-Lehane grade, needed pressing of the cricoids cartilage, the ratio of a second attempt during intubation and the intubation time consumed were recorded.Results Less patients in group VL needed cricoids cartilage press (7.7% vs 48.0%) during the intubation than that in group M (P<0.01).Compared with group M, the Cormack-Lehane grade was significantly lower (P<0.01) and the intubation time consumed was significantly shorter in group VL [(32.4±11.7)s vs (45.8±12.6)s] (P<0.01).Conclusion In patients with pituitary adenoma,video laryngoscope may improve the glottis exposure and the success rate of intubation, as well as shorten the intubation time.
