Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2015;(6):522-524
Objective To investigate the value of three-dimensional color power angio(3D-CPA)in the prenatal diagnosis of pernicious placenta previa (PPP ) with placenta increta. Methods The ultrasonographic findings of PPP with placenta increta diagnosed in our hospital by 2D-CDFI and 3D-CPA were reviewed and compared with pathologic histology examination. For each of the two imaging methods, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and prenatal diagnose accordance rate were summarized. Results For 3D-CPA,sensitivity,specificity and positive predictive value were 91.1%,88.9% and 93.3%, respectively. The results of 3D-CPA were higher than those in 2D-CDFI (sensitivity 76.4%,specificity 66.7%,positive predictive value 81.5% ),and were statistically significant (P <0.05 ).The diagnose accordance rate of 3D-CPA was statistically higher than that of 2D-CDFI (90.4% vs 73.0%;P <0.05). Conclusions 3D-CPA can display abnormal vascular reconstruction between the placenta and uterine wall from various angles, and is more accurate than 2D-CDFI.3D-CPA plays an important role in the prenatal diagnosis of PPP with placenta increta.
3.The clinical application of plug mesh in the repairment of abdominal hernia
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2001;0(09):-
Objective To assess the value of plug mesh tension free hernia repair in the treatment of abdominal external hernia. Methods 123 tension free repairs of hernia in 115 patients performed in our hospital from April 1988 to May 2000 were retrospectively reviewed. 50 4% (58/115) of cases were complicated by diseases such as cardiopulmonary dysfunction, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, prostate hypertrophy, cirrhotic ascites and thrombocytopenia. Results All patients had healing by first intention with no incisional infection or death , and they were discharged 3~7 days after operation(90% of patients were discharged 3 days after operation).90 4% of patients were followed up with an average of 20 months (1~25 months). There was no recurrence during the follow up.Conclusion Plug mesh tension free repair has the advantages of less trauma, little postoperative discomfort, rapid recovery and low recurrent rate.
5.Roles of microglia and immune receptors in Alzheimer's disease.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2014;49(6):774-780
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a most common neurodegenerative disease. The mechanisms underlying AD, especially late-onset AD, remain elusive. In the past few years, results from genome-wide association studies (GWAS) and systems approaches indicated that innate immune responses mediated by microglia played critical roles in AD. Functional analysis on animal models also showed that immune receptors or proteins expressed in microglia mediated Abeta-induced inflammation, or Abeta phagocytosis by microglia. Microglia plays double sword roles in AD. More work is warranted to elucidate the exact roles of microglia in AD, which will facilitate our better understanding of the mechanisms underlying AD.

6.Therapeutic effect of a new warm moist air device assisted with eyelid massage on office dry eye
International Eye Science 2017;17(8):1489-1493
AIM: To investigate the therapeutic effect of a new warm moist air device assisted with eyelid massage in the treatment of office dry eye (ODE).METHODS: Sixty ODE patients were recruited, and these patients were randomly divided into two groups. One group received artificial tear treatment, and the other group received a new eyelid warm moist air device combined with eyelid massage treatment.Subjects completed the ocular surface disease index (OSDI),which was followed by fluorescein tear breakup time (BUT),corneal fluorescein staining (CFS),Schirmer I test (SⅠt) and meibomian gland secretion function evaluation at baseline, and 2 and 4wk after treatment.RESULTS: In these 60 patients,48 patients(23 in artificial tear treated group and 25 in the new warm moist air device assisted with eyelid massage treated group)were positive for meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD).Compared to artificial tear treatment, the new warm moist air device assisted with eyelid massage treatment showed favorable therapeutic effect on OSDI (FGroup=41.63,P<0.01),BUT (FGroup=60.47,P<0.01) and the grade of meibum quality (FGroup=12.12,P<0.01) during 4wk treatment in this study. No significant difference was found in SIT (FGroup=0.17,P>0.05),CFS (FGroup=1.79,P>0.05) and meibomian gland expressibility (FGroup=0.68,P>0.05) between the two groups during 4wk treatment.CONCLUSION: This new eyelid warm moist air device assisted with eyelid massage has favorable therapeutic effect over artificial tear in ODE treatment.
7. Expression of PTPeta in human hepatocellular carcinoma tissue and SMMC7721 cells and its significance
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2012;37(10):800-803
Objective To investigate the expression of protein tyrosine phosphatase eta (PTPeta) in hepatocellular carcinoma tissue and SMMC-7721 cells, and observe the effects of SMMC7721 cell density on PTPeta expression. Methods Immunohistochemistry method was used to detect the protein expression of PTPeta in hepatocellular carcinoma tissues and SMMC-7721 cells. RT-PCR was employed to detect the mRNA expression of PTPeta in different growth density of SMMC-7721 cells (1×103, 5×103, 1×104, 5×104/cm2). Results Immunohistochemical detection demonstrated that the PTPeta was positively expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma tissue. Immunofluorescence study showed that PTPeta was also expressed in SMMC-7721 cells, and it was mainly localized in cell membrane. RT-PCR study indicated that the degree of expression of PTPeta mRNA was 0.425±0.031, 0.659±0.041, 0.771±0.043 and 0.885±0.045 respectively in cell density of 1×103, 5×103, 1×104 and 5×104/cm2. The expression of PTPeta mRNA was increased along with increase of tumor cell density with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion PTPeta may by expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma tissue and tumor cells, and the expression may be increased by an increase in cell density. PTPeta may play an important role in proliferation and migration of malignant tumor cells by increasing the adhesiveness of hepatocarcinoma cells and maintaining the homeostasis of malignant tumor cells.
8. Methylation status of DLEC1 promoter in colorectal cancer patients and its clinical relevance
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;31(8):842-845
Objective: To detect the methylation status of DLEC1 promoter in the tissue and serum of colorectal cancer (CRC) patients and to evaluate its clinical relevance. Methods: Genomic DNA was extracted from the tissues (cancer tissue and. corresponding adjacent normal tissue) and sera of 71 CRC patients; serum genomic DNA was also obtained from 20 patients with benign gastrointestinal diseases and 20 healthy donors. Promoter methylation status of DLEC1 gene was detected by methylation-specific polymerase chain reaction (MSP). Results: The incidence of aberrant methylation of DLEC1 promoter was 45.1% (32/71) in CRC tissues, which was significantly higher than that in the adjacent normal tissues (7.1%, 4/56) (P< 0.001). The hypermethylation status of DLEC1 was not correlated with the clinicopathological features and CEA/CA19-9 levels of CRC patients. Moreover, DLEC1 promoter methylation was also found in 28 of 71 (39. 4%) CRC serum samples and only 1 (2.5%) of the other 40 cancer-free serum samples (P<0.001); the methylation was in accordance with that in the tumor tissues. Conclusion: Hypermethylation of DLEC1 promoter is frequently seen in CRC patients, suggesting it might be a promising biomarker for the early diagnosis of CRC.
