Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(21):2939-2940
Objective To analyze the therapy method and the therapeutic effect of Jones fracture by using hollow screw internal fixation. Methods All the Jones fractures were treated by open reduction hollow screw internal fixation and the plaster external fixation were not used after operation. Results The 32 cases with Jones fractures got excellent 25 cases, good 6cases and poor 1 case which used by Maryland foot score system to appraisal. All the cases were followed up for 6 months to 30 months and the average follow-up time is 18 months. Conclusion The treatment of hollow screw internal fixation was a satisfactory method to cure Jones fracture, which had get advantages of simple operation, small wound, short operation time, not external fixation, quick recovery and few complications.
2.Field portable transfusion device
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(12):-
A field transfusion device without support is designed. It is in shape of cuboid, and the idler wheels of mean axis disc are driven by motor to push transfusion liquid into human body.A disc with 6 idler wheels on the edge is set in the motor axis. When motor starts, idler wheels take turns to extrude liquid from transfusion pipe to human body with transfusion speed decided by motor rotate speed.Besides,an adjustable transfusion controller, sensor for liquid pressure and transfusion alarm system are equipped. When the set transfusion volume is finished,it gives alarm.
3.CHANGES IN PLASMA ?-EP, Dyn AND LEK CONTENTS IN PATIENTS WITH ESSEN TIAL HYPERTENSION AND THEIR CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1983;0(05):-
In this study, radioimmunoassay (RIA) was perfomed to measure the contents of opiate peptide in plasma in control group and essential hypertension (EH) group before and after treatment. The relationship between the changes in opiate peptide content and mean artery pressure (MAP) was analysed. The results showed that the contents of ?-endorphin (?-EP) and leuenkephalin (LEK.) in the EH group were lower significantly (P

Objective To repair the experimental femoral head necrosis with the implantation of tricalcium phosphate (TCP) loaded with human bone morphogenetic protein-2(hBMP-2) gene transfected bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs). Methods Established the animal models of femoral head necrosis in 22 goats by the ligation of the lateral and medial circumflex femoral arteries and delivery of liquid nitrogen into femoral head. 4 goats served as the control group without any treatment. 3 weeks after surgery, necrotic bone in the other 18 goats were removed and TCP loaded gene transfer cells were implanted into the femoral head with BMP-2 gene transfected BMSCs in right side and ?-gal gene transfected BMSCs in left side. BMP-2 concentrations in femoral head were tested by the ELISA at 1st, 2nd, 3rd week after implantation. Histological observation was done before and at 6th, 10th, 16th week after implantation. New bone volumes (NBV) were measured at 16th week after implantation by the histomorphometry method. X-ray was taken at 16th week after operation in untreated group and after treatment in BMP-2 group and ?-gal group. Results The concentration of BMP-2 in femoral head of BMP-2 group was higher than that of ?-gal group at different time point. Empty lacunae and fibrotic marrow were demonstrated before implantation. New bone was evident in the implantation field of BMP-2 group while fibrous tissues were evident in that of ?-gal group at 6th, 10th and 16th week after treatment. Histomorphology analysis indicated that the NBV in BMP-2 group was significantly higher than that in ?-gal group. Articular surface collapse were observed in the X-ray photograph of untreated group. Regular shape and normal density of femoral head in BMP-2 group compared with the irregular shape and low density of femoral head in ?-gal group could be demonstrated in the X-ray photograph 16 weeks after treatment. Conclusion Implantation of the TCP loaded with human BMP-2 gene transfected BMSCs could repair early-stage experimental femoral head necrosis.

Objective To study the effect of rat angiotensin Ⅱ receptor (AT2R) gene transfer mediated by adenoviral vector on neointimal proliferation after rat carotid artery injury. Methods AT2R gene was transducted into the carotid artery by adenoviral vector with GFP after carotid balloon injury. Restenosis models were established in Wistar rats. Immunostaining was performed to examin the expression of AT2R in local arteries. Neointima/media area ratio at day 21 after gene transfer was measured by morphometric analysis. Results The transduction rate of AT2R gene in rat carotid arteries was 40% and the gene expressed constantly in the vessel walls. Neointima/media area ratio of the gene transduction group was significantly reduced (48%) compared with the control group at day 21 after gene transfer. Conclusion The results suggest the possibility that AT2R gene transfer can inhibit proliferation of arterial intima after balloon injury and it is a potential therapeutic approach to prevent neointimal hyperplasia.
8. Interaction between ciprofloxacin and ferric-ion binding protein from pathogenic bacteria
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;30(7):808-811
Objective: To investigate the interaction between ciprofloxacin (CIP) and ferric-ion binding protein (FBP) from pathogenic bacteria, so as to determine whether FBP is the target of CIP. Methods: Reactions between ciprofloxacin and FBP from N. gonorrhoeae, which was expressed in E. coli, were monitored by UV-visible and NMR spectroscopy. Results: Fe3+ was removed from holo-FBP by CIP in 10 mmol/L Tris-Cl buffer, pH 7.40, at 298 K, and half of the loaded Fe3+ was taken off when 50 molar equivalence of CIP was present. Conclusion: CIP can remove Fe3+ from holo-FBP, indicating that CIP can interfere with the Fe3+ capture of the bacteria and influence the growth and virulence of the bacteria.

Objective To investigate the plasma separation after samples to laboratory under different centrifugal conditions of b-type natriuretic peptide (BNP)the influence of the test results. Methods Randomly selected 20 cases of hospitalized patients at our hospital, the vacuum EDTA-K2 anticoagulant blood, respectively from several different centrifugal speed and time after centrif-ugal separation of plasma, the Siemens ADVIA Centaur CP on automatic chemiluminescence meter yet. Results Based on the same patients at the same time of blood specimens, under different centrifugal conditions and preparation of plasma BNP results meas-ured by comparative analysis, the centrifugal rotational speed of 3 000 r/min,the centrifugal time reach more than 5 min for the plasma specimens centrifugal conditions required by the test results and the kit standard preparation of plasma determination results difference has no statistical significance (P >0.05).Conclusion As soon as possible in order to determine the BNP as a result,es-pecially emergency specimens at night, when the centrifugal rotational speed and time to meet the 3 000 r/min and 5 min,can ob-tain accurate detection results, for clinical results as soon as possible for the BNP,diagnosis heart failure to win the time.
