3.Environment Lead Pollution Investigation of a Lead Smeltery

Objective To understand the environmental lead pollution level caused by a lead smeltery.Methods From the surrounding of the investigated factory,the farmland soil,sediment,water,ambient air,courtyard dust,waste and 7 kinds of crops were collected to determine the lead level.Results Respectively,the lead concentration was 3.1 mg/L in the agriculture irrigation water,exceeded the allowed limit by 30 times,was 0.07 mg/L in the pond water,exceeded the allowed limit by 0.4 time,was 1 101.5 mg/kg in the sediment of the pond,exceeded the allowed limit by 0.10 time,was 7 400.0 mg/kg in the river sediment,exceeded the allowed limit by 6.40 times,was 47.0-287.9 mg/kg in the farmland soil and within the 400 m bound around the lead smeltery,the average level in the soil was 195.0 mg/kg.Conclusion The lead smeltery has caused the lead environment pollution in degrees,it is the main source of lead pollution that caused high blood lead in some people living in that area.
4.Expression of monocyte chemotactic protein-1 in mouse model with oxygen induced retinopathy

BackgroundMonocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1)plays an important role in the tumor,inflammation,diabetic retinopathy and other neovascular disease,but the expression and the role of MCP-1 in the oxygen induced retinopathy(OIR) model have rarely been reported. Objective This study was to investigate the expression of MCP-1 in the retina development of newborn mouse and in mouse models with OIR.Methods C57BL/6J newborn mice were divided into two groups and 60 mice in each group.Mice in OIR group were exposed to 75% oxygen for 5 days and then to room air.All mice in normal control group exposed to room air only.Ten mice in each group were randomly chosen and sacrificed at postnatal 5,7,12,14,17,21 days.The expression of MCP-1 in mouse retina was detected with the method of immunohistoehemistry and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Results MCP-1 positive cells were seen in normal mouse retina.Up-regulation of MCP-1 positive cells was detected both in 12 days in normal control group and in 14 days in OIR group.MCP-1 mRNA was detected in mouse retina at 5 days,and a transient up-regulation of MCP-1 mRNA was observed in 12 days in normal control group.MCP-1 mRNA in OIR group significantly increased in 14 days in comparison with the normal control group( P =0.028,P =0.001 ). Conclusions Expression of MCP-1 is detectable in whole retinal development procession of mice.A transient up-regulation of MCP-1 expression is detected in the critical period of retinal vascular development in mice models with OIR,which is closely related to the retinal vascular development and progression of retinal new vessels.
5.Ventilatory Treatment of Flail Chest with Pulmonary Contusion

Objective To evaluate the early therapeutic effect of flail chest with pulmonary contusion by using different mode of mechanical ventilation. Methods Twenty-nine patients of flail chest with pulmonary contusion were analysed retrospectively. All the patients were treated with the ventilator Bear1000. Two groups were established: invasion group was treated with SIMV+PEEP(8 cases) and CPAP+PSV (7 cases), noninvasion group was treated with NIPPV(14 cases). Results There was no death in all the patients. CPAP+PSV was more effective than SIMV+PEEP not only in decreasing breath rate and improving hypoxemia but also in decreasing peak inspiratory pressure(P
6.Ultrastructure of Vascularization During Osteogenesis by Tissue Engineering Technique

Objective To observe the changes of osteoblasts and vascularization during osteogenesis by tissue engineering technique under the electron microscope and study the feasibility of improving vascularization of the tissue engineering bone by using the small intestine submucosa(SIS) as the scaffold. Methods The bone mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs) were isolated by using the gradient centrifuge method.BMSCs were seeded in the SIS.The scaffold-cell constructs were cultured in vitro for two weeks.There were no cells on the SIS as control.They were implanted subcutaneously in the dorsa of the athymic mice.The implants were harvested after(in vivo) incubation for 4,8 and 12 weeks.The changes of osteoblasts and vascularization were observed under the transmission electron microscope and the scanning electron microscope. Results The BMSCs grew quite well.BMSCs differentiated on the surface of the SIS and secreted a great deal of extracellular matrices.The scaffold-cell constructs formed a lot of bone and vessels in vivo.The scaffold degraded after 12 weeks.No osteoblasts but vascularization and fibroblasts were observed as control. Conclusion SIS can be used as the scaffold for constructing tissue engineering bone as it can improve the formation of bone and vessels in vivo.
7.Clinical observation of valsartan on chronic pulmonary heart disease with heart failure

Objective To study and analyze the clinical effect of valsartan on chronic pulmonary heart disease. Methods 100 cases of heart failure patients with pulmonary heart disease treated in our hospital from January 2015 to October 2016 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group,50 cases in each group.Two groups of patients were given the basic treatment of diuretics,low salt diet, digitalis and nitrates,so as to ensure that the patients had enough rest.Patients in the control group were treated with benazepril,and the patients in the experimental group were treated with valsartan.The clinical indexes of the experimental group and the control group were compared and analyzed. Results After corresponding treatment,the number of effective treatment was 48 cases.In the control group,the total effective number was 41 cases. The effective rate of the control group (82.0%) was significantly lower than the experimental group(96.0%) (P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was 8.0%, and the fatality rate was 10.0%. The incidence of adverse reactions in the control group was 10.0%, and the fatality rate was 12.0%.There was no significant difference between two groups.After treatment,the indexes of LVEDD and LVESD in the experimental group were better than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Valsartan was effective in the treatment of chronic pulmonary heart disease with heart failure.It can improve the treatment efficiency and security in a certain extent,and has the significance of further popularization and application.
8.OBSERVATIONS ON THE REORGANIZATION OF THE SEMINIFEROUS TUBULES OF THE RAT TESTIS IN VITRO

The Sertoli cell-rich or Sertoli-germ cell aggregates of 15-21 day immature rat testis were cultured in serum-free Ham F-12 medium for observation of the reorganization of the seminiferous tubules in vitro. The results showed that after first week of culture, the cell aggregates were spreaded on the bottom of culture dish as a monolayer consisted of Sertoli cells as well as spermatogenic cells. While after second week these monolayer cell cultures rearranged and transformed into cellular cords which connected each other to form a cellular rete. During this time, there were many small cells with long cytoplasmic processes appeared in the cultures. They looked like immature spermatozoon-like cells which were released from the cellular cords and floated in the medium, however no movement was detected. After third week, the cellular cords developed into a solid or tubule-like structures consisted of Sertoli cells and spermatogenie cells in different stages of spermatogenesis.These cultures have been studied by phase-microscopy in vitro, light and electron microscopy on semithin and ultrathin sections. These studies revealed that the Sertoli cells and Sertoli-germ cell aggregates of immature rat testis, in vitro, not only developed into monolayer cell culture as mentioned, but were also able to be further reconstructed, or reorganized, in some extent, to solid and tubule-like structures. The possible significance and mechanism were discussed.
9.Investigation and Application of Two-Point Two-Line Vein Pricking of High Pressure Injector

Objective To design two-point two-line vein pricking for avoiding pain for patients and blood osmosis out of the vein caused by the high-pressure and fast-speed of the current high-pressure injector.Methods 19G butterfly-wing vein transfusion needle in the length of 19mm was used.The first point was needled with the needle tip under the skin and the first needling line was above and parallel the blood vessel in the length of 10-12mm.The second point was needled,with the second needle tip and needle line in the blood vessel,and the length of needling is 7-9mm.Results 100 persons were subjected.All the contrast medium and the physiologic saline were injected in vein in 98 persons,among which 2 had little hard tubercle in injecting area.Conclusion The two-point two-line vein pricking is safe for high pressure injector injecting in vein,and can prevent blood osmosis out of the vein.
