Chinese Journal of Infectious Diseases 2008;26(9):547-549
Objective To investigate the prevalence of SEN virus(SENV)infection in patients with chronic hepatitis gravis before and after plasma exchange, and its influences on liver function. Methods Two subtypes of SENV,SENV-D and SENV-H were detected in sera from 40 patients with chronic hepatitis gravis before and after plasma exchange. The changes of liver function were also tested before and after plasma exchange.Data analysis was done by t test and ehi-square test. Results Among 40 patients with chronic hepatitis gravis,SENV-D positive rates before and after plasma exchange were 27.5%(11/40)and 42.5%(17/40),respectively,and SENV-H positive rates before and after plasma exchange were 27.5%(11/40)and 50.0%(20/40),respectively,which were all significantly different(X2=4.17,X2=7.11,both P<0.05)between before plasma exchange and after plasma exchange. And after the treatment of plasma exchange, serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT)level was(164±75)U/L in SENV positive patients, which was significantly higher than that in SENV negative patients[(48±12)U/L,t=3.13,P<0.05].But there were no significant differences of other liver function indexes between SENV positive and negative groups.Condusions SENV can be transmitted via plasma exchange.SENV coinfection may influence the restoration of liver function in patients with chronic hepatitis gravia after the treatment of plasma exchange.
2.Current status and outlook of pancreatic islets transplantation research
Journal of Interventional Radiology 2006;0(10):-
Diabetes is a common disease, serverely harmful to the human's health and life quality. The pancreatic islets transplantation can correct the patient's hyperglycemia, stop or even reverse the progress of the complication and thus decrease the mortality of diabetic patients. It is the most safe and efficient therapy for diabetes.Since the Edmonton Protocol got success in pancreatic islet transplantation in 2000,it has been more and more interested because of its great clinical curative effect.Research strategy of islet transplantation is now focussed on increasing the acquired islets with normal viability, selecting the best transplantation pathway, and improving the immunosuppression protocol. The shortage of human pancreatic donor is an ever unsolved problem in clinical application. The potential resolutions may include acquisition from xenogenic-islets;islets originated from stem cells, and islets from the living-donor human pancreas. The islets transplantation will open a new application field for interventional radiology.(J Intervent Radiol,2006,15: 577-579)

Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the diagnostic value of the intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) for discriminating nonmetastatic from metastatic mediastinal lymph nodes in lung cancer. Methods IVIM was performed preoperatively on 66 patients with lung cancer during October 2015 to June 2016 in Capital Medical University Affiliated Beijing Chaoyang Hospital.Preoperative examination including the chest MRI scan, chest CT,head MRI,bone scan-ning and the cardiopulmonary function.None of the patients was undergone any kind of treatment about the cancer before the examinations, the neoadjuvant chemotherapy or radiation therapy, immunotherapy and gene targeted therapy were included.Measured the short axis diameter and the IVIM parameters of the mediastinal lymph nodes, apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC),diffusion coefficient(D),pseudo-diffusion coefficient(D *),and perfusion fraction(f).All the patients underwent the lobectomy or wedge resection and lymph node dissection or systematic sampling.By comparing the IVIM parameters of the nonmetastatic and metastatic mediastinal lymph nodes according to the pathological examination, draw the ROC curves to find the best cutoff value for diagnosis. And 42 cases were used to comparing the value of the MRI and CT in differential diagnosis. Results MRI measured 184 groups mediastinal lymph nodes, including 164 groups without metastasis,20 groups with metastasis. The ADC,D,D *,f values and short axis diameter of the nonmetastatic lymph nodes(n =164) were(2.880 ± 0.785) × 10-3 mm2/s,(0.670 ± 0.179) × 10-3 mm2/s,(0.383 ± 0.123) × 10-3 mm2/s,0.422 ± 0.119,(6.546 ± 1.932) mm,respectively, and (1.897 ±0.657) × 10-3 mm2/s,(0.472 ±0.210) × 10-3 mm2/s,(0.354 ±0.130) × 10-3 mm2/s,0.412 ±0.090,(7.510 ± 2.773) mm respectively for the metastatic lymph nodes (n =20).The ADC and D value of the nonmetastatic lymph nodes were significantly higher than the metastatic lymph nodes(P <0.01).While the other paraneters(D *,f,and short axis diameter) between the two groups did not show significantly different.Optimal cutoff values(area under the curve, sensitivity, and specificity) for distinguishing metastatic from nonmetastatic lymph nodes were as follows:ADC =1.890 × 10-3 mm2/s (0.871,92.7%,80.0%);and D =0.648 × 10-3mm2/s(0.740,70.0%,84.1%).Conclusion IVIM is useful to distinguish metastatic from nonmetastatic lymph nodes in lung cancer. The ADC and the D values are significant higher in metastatic lymph nodes, which more sensitive than the other parameters(D *,f,and short axis diameter). As a result,IVIM can be used in the N-stage diagnosis of lung cancer.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the improvement effect of Prostatitis capsule on chronic non-bacterial prostatitis(CNP) model rats. METHODS:60 rats were randomly divided into sham operation group (distilled water),model group (distilled wa-ter),Pule'an tablet group(positive control,2 g/kg)and Prostatitis capsule high-dose,medium-dose,low-dose groups(16,8,4 g/kg). Except for sham operation group, other 5 groups were injected Xiaozhiling injection 0.2 mL to reduce CNP model. After 7 d of modeling, they received related medicines,ig,once a day,for 45 d. After 24 h of last administration, prostate lesions were ob-served by eyes and wet quality was weighed. White blood cell(WBC)count and lecithin body(SPL)count were conducted under microscope, and prostate tissue slices were pathologically observed. RESULTS:Compared with sham operation group, prostate showed gray nodules, adhesion in glands and surrounding tissue;wet quality of prostate and WBC,SPL count in prostate tissue were significantly increased(P<0.01);under microscope, there were significant congestion, edema and a variety of inflammatory cell infiltration in prostate interstitial. Compared with model group, gray nodules in prostate in Pule'an tablet group and Prostatitis capsule group were reduced,as well as adhesion degree in prostate and surrounding tissue;wet quality of prostate and WBC,SPL count in prostate tissue were significantly decreased(P<0.01);pathological changes had improved to varying degrees under micro-scope,especially the changes in Prostatitis capsule high-dose group, and prostate tissue only showed mild congestion, edema and little inflammatory cell infiltration. CONCLUSIONS:Prostatitis capsule has a certain improvement effect on CNP model rats.
