Objective: To prepare chicken egg yolk antibody(IgY) against Candida albicans and to study its biological properties in the interest of its further application.Methods: Ten 25 weeks old laying hens were immunized with Candida albicans.IgY was isolated from the yolks of eggs by the water dilution(WD) method.Its yield,purity,and molecular weight were measured by Bradford method and Tris-tricine gel electrophoresis,respectively.The antigenicity of IgY was determined with Western-blot method.The specific combination of IgY and Candida albicans was assayed with immunohistochemistry method.The activity of IgY was evaluated by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results: The yield and purity of IgY were 7.9 g/L and 91.5%,respectively.It had the same molecular weight and antigenicity in comparison with IgY of chicken serum and normal chicken IgY.It could specifically combine with Candida albicans.Its titer was 1:12 000.Conclusion:The production and purity of IgY were high.Its titer was good and did not decrease under a body temperature condition after 48 h.The IgY antibody had a combination capacity of specificity for Candida albicans in vitro.

Objective To optimize the extraction process of Zushima Gel Cream.Methods Setting the content of daphnetin as an investigating index, and the amount of solvent, soak time and the extraction time as investigating factors, the orthogonal experiment was used to optimize the extraction process.Results The best extraction process was as follows:adding 30 mL water to degreasing Zushima Gel Cream;soaking for half an hour;extracting one time for two hours. The average content of daphnetin was 9.83 mg/g.Conclusion The extraction process is stable, reliable, and energy-saving. The study provided experimental evidence for the preparation process of Zushima Gel Cream.

Introduced in the paper is the development and building of motor medical equipment in China,namely vehicle-mounted field hospitals,cabin hospitals,hospital ships,and rescue helicopters among others.It is pointed out that such development falls far from complete in the country,as evidenced in the poor development for airborne,and an integrated medical rescue system covering land, sea and air needs to be further enhanced in the future.

OBJECTIVE: To study the effects of Shengji Huayu Recipe (a traditional Chinese medicine compound recipe for resolving stagnation and promoting granulation) and its decomposed formulas (Huayu Recipe for resolving stagnation and Shengji Recipe for promoting granulation) on the synthesis of collagen types I and III in granulation tissue of rats in early wound healing. METHODS: Twenty-four male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats with full-thickness skin lesion were randomized into 4 groups: Shengji Huayu Recipe-treated group, Shengji Recipe-treated group, Huayu Recipe-treated group and untreated group. Collagen types I and III in granulation tissue of the rats were tested with immunohistochemical methods and image analysis. RESULTS: On the third day of wound healing, collagen I of the rats in both Shengji Huayu Recipe-treated group and Shengji Recipe-treated group was higher than that in the untreated group, and collagen I of the rats in Huayu Recipe-treated group was lower than that in the untreated group (P<0.05). Collagen III of the rats in the three treated groups were lower than that in the untreated group (P<0.05). On the seventh day of wound healing, Collagen I of the rats in both Shengji Huayu Recipe-treated group and Shengji Recipe-treated group was higher than that in the untreated group (P<0.05), and collagen III of the rats in both Shengji Recipe-treated group and Huayu Recipe-treated group was higher than that in the untreated group (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: Resolving stagnation and promoting granulation therapy can promote the wound healing in rats.

BACKGROUND:As a conventional internal fixation method, anatomic plate has some shortcomings. Recently locking plate has been widely used in treatment of Pilon fracture. How to effective reconstruct articular facet at the distal tibia and to reduce soft tissue damage have attracted increasing attentions. OBJECTIVE:To compare the curative effect of locking compression plate versus anatomic plate internal fixation in treatment of Pilon fracture. METHODS:A retrospective analysis was performed among 72 patients of Ruedi-Al gower II and III Pilon fracture, who were selected from Sanshui People’s Hospital of Foshan between January 2010 and August 2014. The involved patients were randomly divided into two groups:36 patients of observation group were treated with locking compression plate internal fixation, and 36 patients of control group were given anatomic plate internal fixation. The average operation time, postoperative recovery time, postoperative complications, curative effect and postoperative fracture situation were compared between the two groups. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The average operation time and the average postoperative recovery time of observation group were significantly better than that of control group (P<0.05). In terms of postoperative complications, there were less cases of delayed healing and non-union in the observation group than in the control group. 26 cases of observation group and 22 cases of control group recovered wel after internal fixation, observation group was better than control group. There was no significant difference in the radiological evaluation results of postoperative recovery between the two groups (P>0.05). Compared with the anatomic plate internal fixation, locking compression plate internal fixation can shorten the operation time and postoperative recovery time, reduce the incidence of delayed healing and nonunion after internal fixation, and improve clinical curative effect in treatment of Pilon fracture.

Objective Approach to safe and effective lung protection strategies on ventricular septal defect infants during perioperation.Methods There were 4 groups as blank control group,ambroxol group,methylprednisolone group and ulinastatin group.We tried to find a safe and effective stratege on lung protection by comparing each other on the respiratory function indexes and inflammation biomarkers.Results Postoperation of VSD repair,respiratory function indexes such as Ppeak,oxygenation index inspiratory resistance and mechanical ventilation time were significantly different (P ＜ 0.05) among the 4 groups.The inflammation biomarkers such as WBC,CRP and PCT had no differences the first day(P ＞0.05),and were statistically significant the third day (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Ambroxol,methylprednisolone and ulinastatin all are effective drugs for lung protection.Considering about the clinical curative effect and side effects,ambroxol is more safe and effective relatively.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the protective effects of ginkgo leaf extracts on spinal cord after ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury in rabbits and to find out its possible mechanism. METHODS: Twenty-seven New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into three groups, which were sham-operation group, untreated group and ginkgo leaf extracts-treated group. The locomotor scores of hindlimbs in rabbits after 24 and 48 h of reperfusion were evaluated, and the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) in ischemia spinal cord were examined. The apoptotic index (AI) of neurons in spinal cord was detected by terminal deoxyribonucleotidyl transferase (TdT)-mediated dUTP-biotin nick end labeling (TUNEL) method. The expressions of Bcl-2 and Bax proteins were examined by streptavidin-biotin peroxidase method. RESULTS: The locomotor scores of hindlimbs in rabbits after 24 and 48 h of reperfusion in the ginkgo leaf extracts-treated group were obviously elevated as compared with those in the untreated group (P<0.05). The activity of SOD was higher and the level of MDA was lower in ischemia spinal cord in the ginkgo leaf extracts-treated group than those in the untreated group (P<0.01). The decreased neuron AI and the expressions of up-regulated Bcl-2 protein and down-regulated Bax protein were also observed in the ginkgo leaf extracts-treated group. CONCLUSION: The protective effects of the ginkgo leaf extracts against spinal cord injury induced by IR may be related to scavenging oxygen free radicals, reducing lipid peroxidation injury and inhibiting apoptosis.

Objective The aim of this study was to analyze the influence of combined therapy with L-carnitine and erythropoietin on renal anemia and nutritional status in patients treated with maintenance hemodialysis.Methods The combination of computer and manual searches were used.A Meta analysis was made regarding the effect of combined therapy with L-carnitine and erythropoietin on the improvement of renal anemia and nutritional status in patients treated with maintenance hemodialysis.The quality of the 9 studies was evaluated with the Jadad score.Statistical analysis was carried out by RevMan 5.0.Results A total of 428 patients in 9 reports were analyzed.Metaanalysis showed that there were significant improvement in hemoglobin (Hb) [WMD =9.21,95％ CI (7.69 ～10.73)] and hematocrit (Hct) [WMD =2.61,95％ CI (2.28 ～ 2.93)],albumin (ALB) [WMD =1.64,95％ CI (1.04 ～ 2.24)] and total protein (TP) [WMD =2.72,95 ％ CI (0.67 ～ 4.77)] in the treatment group compared with the control group.The level of erythropoietin dosage [WMD =-38.24,95％ CI (-76.87 ～ 0.39)] was decreased significantly.But there were no significant differences in triglyceride and serum phosphorus.Conclusion Combined therapy with L-carnitine and erythropoietin in patients treated with maintenance hemodialysis leads to significant improvement of renal anemia and nutritional status.

AIM: To establish the analytical methods for determing paeoniflorin,paeonol and ?-cyperone in Baixiangdan Capsule(extract of Radix Paeoniae alba,extract of paeonol,volatile oil of Rhizoma Cyperi). METHODS: The contents of paeoniflorin,paeonol and ?-cyperone in the capsule were determined by HPLC respectively. RESULTS: The linear range of paeoniflorin was within 0.6125.508 ?g(r=(0.999 3)) and the average recovery was 98.16%(RSD=1.18%,n=5).The linear range of paeonol was 0.150 4 ?g-1.353 6 ?g(r=(0.999 8)) and the average recovery was 98.16%(RSD=1.52%,n=5).The linear range of ?-cyperone was(0.271)-2.439 ?g(r=(0.999 9)) and the average recovery was 98.02%(RSD=1.58%,n=5). CONCLUSION: The method is reliable,accurate,feasible and reproducible and can be applied to the quality control of Baixiangdan Capsule.
