1.Trace Metal Contents in Human Hair of Korean.
Korean Journal of Preventive Medicine 1979;12(1):79-87
Analysis for 6 metals (Cd, Zn, Cu, Ni, Pb, Mn) by Atomic absorption spectrophotometer were made on hair samples of healthy 135 in urban area and 130 in rural area who have not dealt with the above metals in their daily working life. Marked variations were found. Samples of urban area contained more cadmium, copper, lead and manganese than those of rural area. No sexual difference in mean value could be observed and the amount of metals in hair did not increase with age. And no age dependency was found. There was a statistically significant correlation between the concentrations of cadmium and lead in both urban and rural people; Pb=1.50 Cd + 6.69 (r = 0.213, p<0.05) in urban area. Pb=1.44 Cd + 3.67 (r = 0.327, p<0.001) in rural area.

3.Prediction of abnormal neurodevelopment in children with congenital heart disease
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2015;(7):658-661
A lot of children with congenital heart disease have an abnormal development of nervous system. A variety of biochemical and physical examination indices can be used to predict adverse outcome of neurodevelopment caused by congenital heart disease and they contribute to early intervention and improvement of neurodevelopmental disorders. In recent years, new progresses in the laboratory tests, neurological physiccal examination and perioperative management of the neurodevelopmental abnormalities caused by congenital heart disease have been made. The predictive factors of abnormal neurodevelopment caused by congenital heart disease were reviewed in this article.
4.A Study on the Attitude Toward the Perodic Health Screening for Workers in Korea: Attitude of Personnels in Health Screening Institutions and Enterprises.
Korean Journal of Preventive Medicine 1987;20(2):270-279
In all enterprises of Korea employing workers more than five, employees have a duty of conducting a periodic health screening for improvement and maintaining healthful living and working conditions of employees. The health screening is performed annually in line workers and biennially in table workers under the supervision of the government. But there are some argument to the health screening programme in view of effectiveness, efficiency, reliability and etc. In order to obtain basic reference materials for increasing the efficiency of periodic health screening programme for workers and understand the attitude of health screening institutions and enterprises toward the periodic health screening, mail questionnaire survey was conducted in July 1987. The questionnaire went to 950 health screening institutions and 700 enterprises in whole land but they were returned from 254 health institutions and 187 enterprises, which were analyzed. The results were as follows: 1) The attitude of the respondents toward the necessity and benefit of the periodic health screening was showed highly positive responses in both of screening institutions and enterprises, and it was more positive in screening institutions. The attitude toward the affirmative and the contentment was showed less positive than that of the necessity and benefit. 2) The respondent recognized may problems on regard to the screening programme. The health screening institutions lie in the state of competition with other institutions for undertaking the screening programme. 3) One of major complaints from enterprises was the lack of sincerity in performing the screening programme. They wanted more practical and reliable health screening examination rather than showy one. 4) Health screening institutions and enterprises showed some mutual contradictions in the matter of screening fee, and so the screening fee should be adjusted to the appropriate cost.

Objective To explore the relationship between high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) DNA and biological behavior of cervical carcinoma. Methods Sixty-six patients of cervical carcinoma with cytological examinations and 103 patients of cervical carcinoma followed-up after surgical operation were selected for high-risk HPV DNA test with second-generation hybrid capture technique (HC2 Ⅱ). Results ①HPV DNA was positive in 62 and negative in four of 66 patients of cervical carcinoma with an overall prevalence of 94%. ②There was no significant difference in positive HPV DNA of patients with cervical carcinoma between their varied clinical stages and pathologic grades. But, HPV positivity and HPV DNA load in patients with myometrial invasion were higher than those in patients without invasion (P < 0. 05).③ HPV DNA conversed to negative in 99 of 103 patients (96%) with cervical carcinoma after surgical operation from positivity before operation. Conclusions High-risk HPV infection may correlate with angiogenesis, invasion and metastasis of cervical carcinoma and HC2 Ⅱ can be used as an effective method to detect HPV DNA.
7.Untrastructure of Melanocyte in Penile Melanosis.
Annals of Dermatology 1990;2(1):58-62
Penile melanosis is a new disease entity which is benign and different from pigmented nevus and acral lentiginous melanoma in situ. A 20-year-old man had hyperpigmented macules on the glans penis and penile shaft for 5 years. Clinical and histologic findings were consistent with penile melanosis and giant melanosome complexes were observed ultrastructurally.

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2015;17(6):532-535
Objective To explore the impact of partial or complete rupture of the tibiofibular syndesmosis on the biomechanical properties of the ankle joint. Methods Six fresh cadaveric specimens of adult ankle were used for creation of 3 models of tibiofibular syndesmosis. In model A,the medial and lateral ligaments of the ankle joint and the tibiofihular syndesmosis were intact. In model B,only the anterior lower tibiofibular ligament was broken. In model C,all inferior tibiofibular ligaments were broken. The 3 models were tested with an electronic pressure sensor in a BOSE material testing machine respectively at 5 positions:10° dorsal extension,20° inversion,20° eversion,20° plantar flexion, and neutral position. The peak values and locations of the compressive stresses of the 3 models at 5 positions were recorded. All the data were collected and analyzed using IBM SPSS 22.0 statistical software. Results Model A exhibited the smallest average stress at all the 5 positions, followed by model B and model C,with significant differences between groups (P < 0.05).The locations of main compressive stress at the neutral position,10° dorsal extension, and 20° plantar flexion in model B and model C tended to expand outwards compared with model A,especially in model C.Conclusions Rupture of the anterior lower tibiofibular ligament and inferior tibiofibular ligaments may increase the compressive stress on the ankle joint, especially rupture of the inferior tibiofibular ligaments. The location of main compressive stress tends to expand outwards when the anterior lower tibiofibular ligament and inferior tibiofihular ligaments are broken, especially the inferior tibiofibular ligaments.

Chinese Archives of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery 2006;0(03):-
OBJECTIVE Approach the cause of esophageal perforation and the analysis of diagnosis, therapy and its outcome in this disease. METHODS We retrospectively review 11 patients of esophageal perforation between1997 and 2004 in our department. There were 9 cases were taken out foreign bodies from their esophageal, another 2 cases haven't been found any foreignbodies and 1 of 2 was caused by iatrogenic reasons. Perforation occurred in the cervical esophagus was 4, and in the thoracic esophagus was 7. Their symptoms were dysphagia or pain, retrosternal-pain, dyspnea, subcutaneous emphysema, fever, hematemesis or melena. RESULTS 7/11 cases visited the clinic during 24 hours after foreign-body occured, 4/11 cases visited after 24 hours and the last visited clinic on 27th day late. Dysphagia was the most common presenting symptom specially with pain in eating, noted in 9 cases (81.8 %); retrosternal-pain and fever were noted in 8 cases (72.7 %), subcutaneous emphysema in 5 (45.5 %), dyspnea in 2 (18.2 %), hematemesis and melena.in 1 (9.1 %). 5 cases were died and the common mortality was 45.45 % (5/11). The mortality in primary repair with surgery treatment was 66.7 % (2/3); the mortality in conservative management was 37.5 % (3/8). The mortality of the perforation in cervical esophagus was 25 % (1/4), in thoracic esophagus was 57.14 % (4/7). The mortality of the visit time in 24 hours was 28.57 % (2/7),and out of 24 hour was 75% (3/4). CONCLUSION Sophageal perforation is usually caused by foreign body or iatrogenic in ENT-Head&Neck surgery. The esophageal perforation will been cured that decided in early visiting, taking away of foreign-boby, the right choice of antibiotic, nutritional support, primary healthy statement of esophagus. We regard that should perform non-operational conservative therapy in the patients who resulted in esophageal perforation except abscess or remain causing by foreign body. And the high risks in mortality of the repairing in surgery should been noticed.
