Objective To evaluate the effect of simultaneous open prostatectomy and inguinal herniorrhaphy through Turner-Warwick incision.Methods 12 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasis and inguinal hernia,underwent simuhaneouly suprapubic or retropubic prostatectomy and inguinal herniorrhaphy through Turner-Warwick incision.Results In this series,no infection of ineisional wound occurred.All the patients were followed up for 3 months to 3.5 years.and there was no recurrence.Conclusion Simultaneous open prostatectomy and inguinal herniorrhaphy through Turner-Warwick incision is simple and effective.The infection rate of incision or the recurrence rate of hernia Wag not inereased.

Objective The purpose of this study was to determine the contents of metallic elements of K,Ca,Mg,Zn,Mn,Cu and Fe in Polygonatum odoratum cultivated in Anhui province.Methods Atomic absorption spectrophotometry was utilized to determine the contents of metallic elements.Results The average contents of K,Ca,Mg,Zn,Mn,Cu and Fe were 12.7047mg/g,1.59083mg/g,0.55495mg/g,0.02034mg/g,0.01839mg/g,0.00664mg/g and 0.11791mg/g,respectively.The data were analyzed by t test.There was no significant difference between groups of each metallic element.Conclusion The contents of metallic elements of K,Ca,Mg,Mn and Fe incultivated Polygonatum odoratum were influenced easily by the culture base.

Objective To establish immortalized bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) from SD rats in vitro for further research on the characteristics and clinical application of BMSCs.Methods By using L ipo-fectamine TM 2000 -mediated gene transfection, plasmid pCMVSV40T/PUR containing the simian virus 40 large T antigene gene (SV40Tag) was transfected into BMSCs.BMSCs were screened by puromycin and then cultured on an extended scale.Their cell morphology and growth conditions were observed.Growth curve of cells was graphed.The expression of SV40Tag in transfected cells was identified by enzyme digestion method for the detection of tumor forma-tion.Results The growth rate of the experimental group of BMSCs after the 7th generation was significantly higher than that of the control group.No tumorigenicity was found in BMSCs after the 7th generation.Conclusion In vitro, the immortalized BMSCs by pCMVSV40T/PUR can provide basis on a large scale for its application in clinic and sci-entific research.

Epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine-kinase inhibitors (EGFR-TKIs) have elicited curative effects on patients with advanced non-small celllung cancer and with activating mutations in the EGFR gene. However, acquired resistance to EGFR-TKIs is eventually developed after an initial response is induced;as such, patients with acquired resistance must be treated with more ef-fective strategies to delay or possibly overcome the resistance. This article reviews available data on the treatment of patients who have failed to respond to EGFR-TKI.

Objective To observe the postoperative analgesia effect of ultrasound-guided trans-versus abdominis plane block (TAP)in patients received lower abdominal surgery.Methods Ninety patients undergoing lower abdominal surgery were randomly divided into group A (received TAP), group B (received patient controlled intravenous analgesia with sulfentanil),and group C (received patient controlled epidural analgesia with sulfentanil and ropivacaine)for postoperative analgeda.All patients received combined spinal and epidural anesthesia.VAS score at postoperative 2,4,8,16 and 24 h,as well as the side effects related to postoperative analgesia,were observed and recorded for each patient.Results Comparing with group A,VAS scores of group B at postoperative 2,4,8,16 and 24 h were obviously higher (P< 0.05);Comparing with group A,VAS score of group C at post-operative 24 h was obviously lower (P< 0.05).Comparing with group A,nausea and vomiting,pru-ritus,and somnolence were more obvious in group B (P < 0.05);nausea and vomiting,sensory and motor abnormality of lower limbs and urinary retention occurred more frequently in group C (P <0.05).Conclusion Ultrasound-guided TAP can effectively relieve postoperative pain 24 hours,and has no obvious side effect in patients received lower abdominal surgery.

Objective To investigate the myocardial remodeling inhibition effect of bisoprolol combined with trimetazidine in the treatment of hypertensive myocardial hypertrophy.Methods 86 cases with hypertension and cardiac hypertrophy in Lingwu People’s Hospital of Ningxia from June 2015 to June 2016 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,43 cases in the control group received routine clinical treatment,43 cases in the experiment group received more with bisoprolol combined with trimetazidine treatment.Blood pressure,ultrasonic cardiogram,levels of serum TNF-α, MMP3 and CRP were compared before and after the treatment.Results Compared with before treatment,levels of blood pressure,IVST,LVPWT,LVMI, MMP3,TNF-αand serum CRP significantly decreased after treatment,and compared with the control group,levels of blood pressure,IVST,LVPWT, LVMI,MMP3,TNF-αand serum CRP in the experiment group were lower,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05),and the effective rate in the experiment group was higher than the control group ( P<0.05 ) .Conclusion Bisoprolol combined with trimetazidine can effectively inhibit the remodeling of hypertension in patients with myocardial hypertrophy,has good clinical efficacy.

The muscarinic receptor family expressed in smooth muscle throughout the body is thought to be composed of five subtypes coupling to distinct signaling systems,respectively.The population in smooth muscle is composed of mainly M 2 and M 3 subtypes in a 80% to 20% mixture. The muscarinic receptor, mainly M 3 receptor, play an important role in regulating gastrointestinal smooth muscle contraction. Selective muscarinic M 3 antagonist should have therapeutic utility in the treatment of gastrointestinal disease.
