1.A randomized controlled clinical trial of acupuncture to prevent nausea and vomitingafter breast surgery
The Journal of Practical Medicine 2015;31(23):3950-3952
Objective To investigate whether acupuncture can prevent postoperative nauseaand vomiting (PONV)in patients received breast surgery. Methods Two hundred and forty patients were randomly divided into the acupuncture group and the control group. Patients in the acupuncture group were treated at bilateral Hegu (L4) and Neiguan (P6) after surgery. Patients in the control group received no any interventions. The occurrence of postoperative nausea and vomiting, the number of complete remission and the remedial treatment were record ed. Results The incidences of nausea and vomiting in the acupuncture group were lower than those in the control group from 2 h to 6 h post-operation, with less need of remedy treatment (P < 0.05, respectively). Conclusion Acupuncture in preventing nausea and vomiting after breast surgery owns a certain value in the early postoperative (6 h) stage, with effectively reducing the occurrence of postoperative nausea and vomiting.
2.Related factors for postoperative urinary retention in patients with intrathecal anesthesia
The Journal of Practical Medicine 2014;(18):2970-2972
Objective To investigate the related factors for postoperative urinary retention in patients with intrathecal anesthesia. Methods Collect 230 patients of orthopaedic surgery with intrathecal anesthesia in our hospital from June 2012 to June 2013. Prospective analysis the related factors of postoperative urinary retention in patients with intrathecal anesthesia. Results 48 cases have postoperative urinary retention from 230 patients of orthopaedic surgerywith intrathecal anesthesia. Difference of urinary retention group and unurinary retention group is statistically significant (P < 0.05)in age, urine excretion before anesthesia, operation time, intraoperative rehydration, dose to anesthesia, postoperative analgesia. Difference of urinary retention group and unurinary retention group hasn’t statistical significance (P > 0.05) in Sex, body mass index, smoking history, the mode of anesthesia Age, operation time, intraoperative rehydration, anesthetic dosage ≥11.25 mg and postoperative analgesia are the risk factors of postoperative urinary retention with multiariable Logistic regression analysis. The urine excretion before anesthesia are protective factors. Conclusion postoperative urinary retention with intrathecal anesthesia is many factors caused by a temporary performance of bladder dysfunction , Perioperative appropriate management (minimize anesthetic doses, shorten the operation time, control intraoperatie rehydration , preoperative try to drain urine ) can reduce the occurrence of postoperative urinary retention.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(3):209-211
OBJECTIVETo observe the acupuncture effect on urinary retention after spinal anesthesia.
METHODSOne hundred and fifty-four patients with spinal anesthesia were randomized into an observation group (80 cases) and a control group (74 cases). In the observation group, the electroacupuncture was applied to bilateral Fushe (SP 13) and Shuidao (ST 28); 2 Hz/50 Hz, retaining for 30 min. One treatment was required. In the control group, no any intervention was applied after operation. The incidence of the postoperative urinary retention, the time of the first automatic micturition since 30 min after spinal anesthesia, the volume of the first micturition, the postoperative urine condition, the lower abdominal distention, incomplete urination and the others were observed.
RESULTSThe incidence of urinary retention in the observation group was lower than that in the control group; the first automatic micturition in 30 min after spinal anesthesia was earlier than that in the control group; the comfortable urination rate was higher than that in the control group; the incidence of incomplete urination and lower abdominal distention were lower than those in the control group. The differences were significant in comparison of the two groups (all P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONAcupuncture apparently shortens the time of first automatic micturition after spinal anesthesia and promotes the recovery of bladder urinary reflection. This therapy acts on promoting urination and reducing postoperative urinary retention.

Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2014;39(10):1056-1060
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the nucleolus expression in the diabetic cardiomyopathy.
METHODS:
The rats were divided into a control group and a type II diabetic cardiomyopathy group (model group). In the model group, rats were fed with high-fat and high-sugar food (rats were intravenously injected with 60 mg/kg chain urea with cephalosporins in the 5th and 6th weeks in mice). The level of blood glucose was determined at the end of 8th week and the level of fasting blood glucose was examined at the end of 20th week. The ratio of the heart mass and body mass was calculated, and the pathological changes in myocardial morphology were observed. The immunohistochemical method and Western blot were used to detect the expression level of myocardial nucleolin.
RESULTS:
The level of fasting blood glucose was significantly increased in the diabetic model group than that in the control group (P<0.05). Rats in the model group were found hypertrophic cardic cells, with fracture, dissolusion, and disordered arrangement. Immunohistochemical staining and Western blot showed the protein levels of myocardial nucleolin in the model group were obviously higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).
CONCLUSION
Nucleolin may play a role in the pathogenesis and development of the diabetic cardiomyopathy.

This study explores the application effect of the case-based teaching method based on Xuexitong learning platform in the online teaching of Digestive System, and analyzes the learner's emotional experience, learning behavior, and learning effect in the case-based online teaching. The results of the study show that the case-based online teaching model based on Xuexitong learning platform improves students' online learning interest, and the students have good emotional experience, high learning enthusiasm, good classroom interaction, enhanced self-learning ability before and after class, and good learning effect. In addition, precise teaching can be used for individual students who are not enthusiastic about online learning.
