International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2008;29(10):892-893
Objective To investigate the relationship between immune condition and stages of tumor in patients with coloreetal cancer by detecting the activites of peripheral blood T cells and NK cells. Methods The activites of T cells and NK cells in peripheral blood from 90 patients with cancer of colon and 40 healthy controls were detected by flow cytometry. Results The CD3+ ratio,CD4+ rati-o,CD4+/CD8+ and NK cells were decreased in cancer of colon group. CD8+ ratio was increased com-pared with that of healthy control group. This chang became more significant following by accreseence of Dukes classification. Conclusion The cellular immune function disorder exists in cancer of colon pa-tients which a aggravation with the pathogenetic condition progress.

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(16):-
[Objective]To discuss the effects of DHS and compression screw application on femoral intertrochanteric fracture.[Method]Internal fixation was performed with DHS,DHS and compression screw,Ender nail and proximal femoral anatomical plate in 185 patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture. The main outcome measures were operation duration, coxa adducta rates and postoperative Sanders scoring.[Result]All patients were followed up for 9-48 months.Operation duration was similar in the four groups. There were significant differences in coxa adducta rates and postoperative Sander's scores.According to the Sander's scores, the excellent to good rates in DHS and compression screw,DHS,Ender nail and proximal femoral anatomical plate groups were 94.6%,85.3%,75.4% and 80.6%,respectively.The coax adducta rates were 2.4%,9.5%,22.2% and 19.2%,respectively.[Conclusion]All the four kinds of internal fixation can be used for femoral intertrochanteric fracture, but DHS and compression screw is the best one for its good restoration of joint function and has no or little complication.

Two kinds of Cu-containing intrauterine contraceptive device (Cu-IUD) has been evaluated through the study on the release of copper ion and corrosion of copper surface in artificially formulated fluid. The result showed that the copper ions were released profusely from the stainless steel stents Cu-IUD in the first week of soak (25-12 microg/d), and then it became slowly and steady. The release of the copper ions from the titanium nickel shape memory alloy stents Cu-IUD were always slowly and steady in two months (0.5-5 microg/d). It obviously shows that the corrosion on copper surface of stainless steel stents Cu-IUD were more serious than titanium nickel shape memory alloy stents Cu-IUD by using 200 times microscope testing before and after soaking in formulated fluid.

Objective To investigate and evaluate the pathological features and diagnostic significance of MSCT findings in scan postprocessing for focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH).Methods A total of 24 patients with FNH who underwent MSCT scan post processing were investigated. The FNH were pathologically and clinically confirmed. Results There are single focus in 22 cases and multiple focus in 2 cases. On plane scan 16 lesions were hypodensity and other 7 isodensity,4 hyperdensity( cases with fatty liver). After contrast,17 lesions were evenly high enhanced on arterial phase;13 lesions showed still hyperdensity and other 10 lesions isodensity,4 lesions hypodensity on parenchymatous phase.Only 5 lesions were hyperdensity but 9 lesions isodensity and 13 lesions hypodensity on delayed phase.Twelve lesions in 27 were detected with central stella-formed cicatrix. There were thickening tumor feeding arteries in 24 lesions, the artery of which were entered integrated into parenchymatous lesions with soft course. Conclusion Synthesizing the charcteristic appearance on MSCT scan postprocessing, doctor could make correct diagnosis and differentiated diagnosis for FNH.

Objective To observe the effect of δ-opioid receptor on proliferation and migration of human epidermal stem cells (hESCs) in vitro so as to offer treatment theory for skin injury. Methods hESCs from fresh foreskin tissues of normal young volunteers were isolated and cultured by enzyme digestion and differential adherence technique.Immunofluorescent staining was used to determine expression of integrin β1 and cytokeratin 19 (CK19) and flow cytometry was used for cell count.Second generation of cells were cultured for 5 consecutive days with keratinocyte serum-free medium (K-SFM) supplemented with 1 nmol/L (D-Ala2,K-Leu5)-enkephalin in Group A,with K-SFM supplemented with 1 nmol/L naltrindole and 1 nmol/L (D-Ala2,K-Leu5)-enkephalin in Group B,and with isolated K-SFM in Group C.Cellular division and proliferation were detected by MTT method. An in vitro 100 μm scratch-wound model was created on the confluent monolayer cells at 24 hours of incubation.Cells migrating from the wound margin were determined by inverted phase contrast microscope at 24,48,72,and 96 hours after wound formation, while wound closure rate was calculated at 72 hours. Results Primary cultured hESCs presented cobblestone-like shape after adherence growth,Immunofluorescence staining showed positive results for integrin β1 and CK19 and cell purity reached 95.6%.Moreover,MTT findings revealed proliferation of hESCs enhanced significantly in Group A,but lowered in Group B as compared to Group C (P < 0.05).hESCs migrated from the wound margin in all groups at 24 hours. However, more migrated cells were seen in Group A than in Group C and less in Group B than in Group C.Rate of wound closure was (89.5 ±0.7)% in Group A,(76.1 ±0.3)% in Group B,and (81.1 ±0.6)% in Group C at 72 hours, indicating significant differences among groups (P < 0.05).Conclusion Activation of δ-opioid receptor promotes the proliferation and migration of hESCs in vitro and may be implicated in wound healing.

Objective To explore the clinical effect of lubar intervertebral disc protrusion treatment with ozone injection combined radiofrequency thermocoagulation. Methods 36 patients with lubar intervertebral disc protrusion confirmed by clinical and imaging examination were underwent radiofrequency thermocoagulation followed ozone injection guided with CT. Results All the patients were followed up for 3 ~6 months, and statistic the improvement rate was evaluated according to Macnab standard. The total effective rate was 94.4%, and the improvement rate was 86.1%. Conclusion CT guided treatment could greatly elevate the accuracy of puncture. Radiofrequency target point thermocoagulation combined with ozone injection was a minimally invasive、safet and markedly effective method for lubar intervertebral disc protrusion treatment.
