Lung transplantation is the only effective treatment for final stage pneumonopathy. However, bronchitis obliterans, as the main of complication, can prevent the long term survival after lung transplantation. Tracheal epithelium cell is the main target organ of the tardive reject reaction. This paper briefly explains the immunologic mechanism regarding the development of bronchitis obliterans, and the role of tracheal epithelium cell in the study, with aim of exploring the initial relationship between tracheal epithelium cell and bronchitis obliterans, and to find a method to solve the long-term survival of lung transplantation.

Objective To investigate the postmortem redistribution of Avermectin in acute poisoning death of rabitts. Methods According to the minimum lethal dose intragastric of 250mg/kg avermectin, the avermectin contents in the heart blood and major organs and tissues of the rabitts after death of 0h~72h were assayed by HPLC method. Results Determination of clinical death time was 120.6±9.2min(x±s, n=10)by intragastric 250mg/kg avermectin to the rabitts; Lethal blood concentrations and lethal tissue concentrations of Avermectin were determined; Presence of postmortem redistribution of avermectin contents in the heart blood and major organs and tissues of the rabitts after death of 0h~72h were proved; Determination of the liver, kidney and lung were the best tissue samples for toxicological anaysis. Conclusion The data of Avermectin postmortem redistribution in the rabbits have important reference value for the forensic management of such cases.

BACKGROUND: Levodopa substitutive therapy is essential and effective method for PD for a long time, but it can not delay the course of PD. Side effect is more and more and severe, for taking levodopa long term. It is benefit to patients to postpone the usage of levodopa or decrease the dosage of it.OBJECTIVE: To systematically investigate the curative effect of the selfmade Bushenpingchan formula combined with madopar on pathogenetic condition of PD patients after onset.DESIGN: Randomized controlled observation.SETTING: Senile Disease Research Center, Xuanwu Hospital, Capital University of Medical Sciences.PARTICIPANTS: Seventy patients diagnosed as having PD were recruited from the Xiyuan Hospital of Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine between December 1999 and May 2002. Inclusive criteria: The patients must be diagnosed as PD finally; ②be at 1.5-4 grade of modified Hoehn & Yahr measuring scale; ③less than 80 years old; ④The Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnosis was deficiency of liver and kidney. Exclusive criteria: ①secondary PD; ②accompanying with other sever central nervous system diseases. ③patients with severe diseases of heart,lung, kidney or multi-viscera-failure; ④mental sickness patients; ⑤drug and alcohol abuse; ⑥severe adverse effect.METHODS: Totally 70 patients were divided into two groups based on the proportion of one to one: There were 35 patients in treatment group containing 22 males and 13 females. The average age was (67.9±16.5)years. There were 35 patients in control group including 25 males and 10females. The average age was (65.5±16.5) years. There was no significant difference in their general condition. Patients in the control group received 62.5-500 mg madopar (250 mg in each pill), 2-4 times a day (to change the dose according to patients' condition). The patients in the treatment group were given with 62.5-500 mg madopar (250 mg in each pill), 2-4times a day orally and 200 mL self-made Bushenpingchan formula (twice a day) in addition, which was composed of 20 g tuber fleeceflower root, 1 g hairy deerhorn, 10 g tall gastrodia tuber, 15 g gambirplant, 12 g Chinese thorowax root, 15 g twolobed officinal magnolia bark, twice a day. The course of medication was 3 month in patients of the two groups. The patients were determined with unified Parkinson disease rating scale (UPDRS) before treatment and at weeks 2, 4, 8 and 12 after treatment, respectively. The symptoms in traditional Chinese medicine after treatment were measured. The dose of madopar before and after medication as well as the adverse effect were observed.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Score of UPDRS before treatment and at weeks 2, 4, 8 and 12 after treatment in patients of the treatment group and control group; the dose of madopar before and after treatment and the adverse effect after treatment.RESULTS: Total effective rate was 69% and 51% in the treatment group and control group, respectively after treatment. There was no significant difference in therapeutic efficacy (x2=0.86, P=0.222 3). ①The score of UPDRS reduced significantly 8 weeks after treatment in the treatment group as compared with that before treatment (t=2.18 ,P ＜ 0.05). ②The daily dosage decreased in the patients of the treatment group after treatment as compared with that before treatment, which had significant difference (t =2.862 8,P ＜ 0.01 ). The daily dosage in the patients of control group had insignificant difference with that before treatment (t=2.320 3,P ＜ 0.01 ). ③There were 2 cases with lightly dry mouth, nausea, dizziness,which could relieve two weeks later in the treatment group; 5 patients with nausea and 2 patients with light dizziness in control group, which could relieve. The blood pressure had no significant change in the two groups before and after treatment.CONCLUSION: The Chinese medicine Bushenpingchan formula combined with western medicine can decrease the UPDRS score in PD patients,can improve the syndromes in Chinese medicine.

Objective To observe the expression of both type 1 (AT1) and type 2 (AT2) receptors of angiotensin Ⅱ (AngⅡ) in human hypertrophic scars, and to explore theirs role in collagen synthesis of fibroblasts in human hypertrophic scars. Methods The expression of both AT1 and AT2 receptors in fibroblasts of hypertrophic scars was detected with immunohistochemical staining and radioligand receptor binding assay. Collagen synthesis was examined in cultured in vitro fibroblasts of hypertrophic scars by measuring [~3H]proline incorporation into collagenous proteins. Results Positive staining signals of both AT1 and AT2 receptors were found in fibroblasts of hypertrophic scars. Similar results were also got in cultured in vitro fibroblasts of hypertrophic scars, expression level of AT1 and AT2 receptors were 10.69?2.15fmol/10~6cells and 4.9?1.05fmol/10~6cells respectively. ObjectiveTo study the changes of iodine uptake of the follicular thyroid carcinoma cell line (FTC-133) and nude mice bearing human follicular thyroid carcinoma after the induction with alltrans retinoic acid (ATRA),trichostatin A (TSA) or ATRA combined with TSA.MethodsAfter the induction with ATRA,TSA,or ATRA combined with TSA in different concentrations for 96 h,the iodine uptake of FTC-133 cells was observed.The concentrations for different groups were as follows:ATRA 1.0 ×10-6 mol/L(Alow group),ATRA 1.0 × 10-4 mol/L(Ahigh group),TSA 1.65 ×10-7 mol/L(T group),Alow +T group,Ahigh +T group and ethanol (control group).Cell quantities and morphology were observed by HE staining.FTC-133 cells were subcutaneously injected into nude mice.Twelve nude mice were randomly divided into 4 groups after tumor formation:ATRA group (2 mg/kg,intragastric administration),TSA group (10 mg/kg,intraperitoneal injection),combined therapy group (ATRA + TSA,the same doses as above) and saline control group (10 ml/kg,intragastric and intraperitoneal administration,respectively).Drugs were administered to the tumor-bearing mice according to the mouse body mass daily.At the 22nd day,the tumor-bearing mice were injected with 37 MBq 131I intraperitoneally.The biodistribution of 131I and gamma imaging were performed at 4,6,12 and 24 h after the injection respectively.Histopathological examinations of the tumor samples were taken after imaging completion.The results were analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) with SPSS 13.0.ResultsThe cellular iodine uptake were (23 885 ± 616.0 ) and ( 13 849 ±728.2) counts · min-1 · 10-6 cells in the Alow + T group and Ahigh + T group respectively,and the data were (985 ± 84.2) - ( 17 600 ± 782.7 ) counts · min-1 · 10-6 in the other groups ( F =600.879,P ＜0.001 ).The ％ ID/g of tumor at 6 h was 6.17 ±0.46 in the combined group and it increased to 9.34 ±0.61 at 12 h and 11.19 ± 0.98 at 24 h.The ％ ID/g of tumor in the other groups were from ( 1.97 ± 0.34)to (5.14 ± 0.65 ).The tumor qualities of the 4 groups were significantly different ( F =3.723,P ＜ 0.05 ).ConclusionThe iodine uptake of the tumor could be enhanced in the tumor-bearing mice administered with ATRA combined with TSA,a potential way for treating follicular thyroid carcinoma.

[Objective]To obtain the normal linear parameters of different resection levels of normal proximal tibia in Chinese people, and discuss the influence of the gender and resection level on the design of the tibia prosthesis. [Methods]Thirty-six normal Chinese people (36 left knees, 18 males and 18 females), with an average age of 43 years (range 18～55 years) were enrolled in this study.Original CT image data were used to set up three-dimensional model of Chinese normal knees.The related linear parameters of different proximal tibia sections were measured and compared.[Results]Parameters of mediolateral (ML) ,medial and latera anteroposteriordimensions(MAP/ LAP) and the aspect ratio(AP/ML) of the resect proximal tibia surface were obtained. The parameters were confirmed by statistics analysis.[Conclusion]The geometry and anatomy of the knee in Chinese people have significant differences from the western people.The prosthesis designed by western people should be choosen carefully.Sex and resection levels should be taken into account in designing tibia prosthesis and or choosing the imported prosthesis in the total knee arthroplasty.

OBJECTIVETo explore the expression of hepatitis B-virus X gene (HBX) in adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) and determine its clinical significance.

METHODSBetween June 2008 and October 2012, in-hospital patients with salivary gland tumors who were treated at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Affiliated Stomatology Hospital of Kunming Medical University, were enrolled to this study. HBeAb-positive patients were defined as those exposed to hepatitis B virus (HBV) or harboring persistent HBV infection regardless of being HBeAg positive or negative. According to the pathological results, all patients were divided into ACC group and control group. Immunohistochemical staining and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) were used to detect HBX expression in ACC group and control group.

RESULTSHBX expression was mostly detected in the cytoplasm of ACC cells. Minimal HBX expression was detected in the nucleus. HBX expression was significantly higher in ACC than in Warthin's tumor. A significant difference was observed between the two groups.

CONCLUSIONHBX is expressed in ACC and may be associated with the development of ACC. HBX might serve important functions in the carcinogenesis and development of ACC.

Objective To observe the effect of δ-opioid receptor on proliferation and migration of human epidermal stem cells (hESCs) in vitro so as to offer treatment theory for skin injury.Methods hESCs from fresh foreskin tissues of normal young volunteers were isolated and cultured by enzyme digestion and differential adherence technique.Immunofluorescent staining was used to determine expression of integrin β1 and cytokeratin 19 (CK19) and flow cytometry was used for cell count.Second generation of cells were cultured for 5 consecutive days with keratinocyte serum-free medium (K-SFM) supplemented with 1 nmol/L (D-Ala2,K-Leu5)-enkephalin in Group A,with K-SFM supplemented with 1 nmol/L naltrindole and 1 nmol/L (D-Ala2,K-Leu5)-enkephalin in Group B,and with isolated K-SFM in Group C.Cellular division and proliferation were detected by MTT method.An in vitro 100 μm scratch-wound model was created on the confluent monolayer cells at 24 hours of incubation.Cells migrating from the wound margin were determined by inverted phase contrast microscope at 24,48,72,and 96 hours after wound formation,while wound closure rate was calculated at 72 hours.Results Primary cultured hESCs presented cobblestone-like shape after adherence growth,Immunofluorescence staining showed positive results for integrin β1 and CK19 and cell purity reached 95.6％.Moreover,MTT findings revealed proliferation of hESCs enhanced significantly in Group A,but lowered in Group B as compared to Group C (P ＜ 0.05).hESCs migrated from the wound margin in all groups at 24 hours.However,more migrated cells were seen in Group A than in Group C and less in Group B than in Group C.Rate of wound closure was (89.5 ±0.7)％ in Group A,(76.1 ±0.3)％ in Group B,and (81.1 ±0.6)％ in Group C at 72 hours,indicating significant differences among groups (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Activation of δ-opioid receptor promotes the proliferation and migration of hESCs in vitro and may be implicated in wound healing.

Objective:To explore diagnostic value of nocturnal ST-T changes in 24h dynamic electrocardiogram (DCG)for coronary heart disease (CHD)and its clinical significance.Methods:A total of 103 cases,who showed ST-T changes in 24h DCG,received selective coronary angiography (CAG).Among them,the 56 patients with in-termittent nighttime significant ST-T changes were regarded as research group,while the other 47 patients with per-sistent ST-T changes were treated as control group.CAG results were compared and analyzed between two groups. Results:Compared with control group,there were significant rise in CAG positive rate (31.9% vs.67.9%),inci-dence rates of dyspnea and chest pain (27.7% vs.66.1%),hypertension (48.9% vs.71.4%),hyperlipidemia (31.9% vs.42.9%)and diabetes mellitus (17.0% vs.46.4%),percentages of lesions in left anterior descending artery (LAD,21.3% vs.57.1%),left circumflex coronary artery (LCX,14.8% vs.37.5%)and right coronary artery (RCA,12.8% vs.35.7%)in research group,P <0.05 or <0.01. Conclusion:Nocturnal ST-T signifieantly changes in 24h DCG,it possesses more diagnostic value for CHD,which can be regarded as a more sensitive index diagnosing myocardial ischemia.
