Objective To investigate and evaluate the pathological features and diagnostic significance of MSCT findings in scan postprocessing for focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH).Methods A total of 24 patients with FNH who underwent MSCT scan post processing were investigated.The FNH were pathologically and clinically confirmed.Results There are single focus in 22 cases and multiple focus in 2 cases.On plane scan 16 lesions were hypodensity and other 7 isodensity,4 hyperdensity( cases with fatty liver).After contrast,17 lesions were evenly high enhanced on arterial phase;13 lesions showed still hyperdensity and other 10 lesions isodensity,4 lesions hypodensity on parenchymatous phase.Only 5 lesions were hyperdensity but 9 lesions isodensity and 13 lesions hypodensity on delayed phase.Twelve lesions in 27 were detected with central stella-formed cicatrix.There were thickening tumor feeding arteries in 24 lesions,the artery of which were entered integrated into parenchymatous lesions with soft course.Conclusion Synthesizing the charcteristic appearance on MSCT scan postprocessing,doctor could make correct diagnosis and differentiated diagnosis for FNH.

The chromatograms of pyrolysis gas chromatography (PGC) of fifteen strains of Salmonella typhi were reported to see if there is any possible relation of the graphs to serological typing and drug-resistance spectra of the bact. In the fifteen strains there were fourteen clinical strains and one reference strain (Hg01). The results indicated that the clinical strains might be divided into group A and B (7 strains each) by PGC. The graphs drawn from group A organisms were entirely the same in shape while those of group B showed only basic similarity. According to the diversity of graphs of group B organisms, the group B organisms, may be subdivided into group B1 (4 strains), B2 (2 strains) and B3 (1 strain). The graphs within each subgroup were completely the same and those of subgroup B1 exhibited close similarity to that of the reference strain. Albeit no regular connection of chromatograms with serological types and drug-resistance could be seen, the graphs yet provided useful reference for founding a bank of chromatograms, compaed with which salmonella typhi graph could then be identified.

OBJECTIVETo study immunomodulating activity of Lonicera Japonica flavone by investigating immune enzymatic activity of serum and antoxidized activity of lymphoid organs in mice.

METHODSFifty KM mice were randomly divided into control group, model group, low dose group, middle dose group and high dose group(n = 10), respectively. And low dose group, middle dose group and high dose group were given Lonicera Japonica flavone with 100 mg/kg, 200 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg every day, respectively, while control group and model group were administered with NS. After continuously giving drug 7 weeks, other groups were injected with Dexamethasome (Dex: 25 mg /kg) for 3 days by subcutaneous injection, but the control group were treated with NS. And after giving Lonicera Japonica flavone 1 week simultaneously, organ indexes , the activity of acid phosphatase (ACP), alkaline phosphatase (AKP) and lysozyme (LSZ) in serum , and the content of monoamine oxidase (MAO), total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC), total superoxide dismutase (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA) in lymphoid organs in mice were tested, respectively.

RESULTSLonicera Japonica flavone could significantly improve the organ indexes, and significantly improve the activity of ACP, AKP and LSZ in serum, and significantly improve the contents of T-AOC and SOD, but reduce that of MAO and MDA in lymphoid organs in immunosuppressed mice.

CONCLUSIONIonicera Japonica flavone can significantly improve the activity of immune enzyme in serum and the antioxidized activity of lymphoid organs in mice. It suggests that Ionicera Japonica flavone has a good immunomodulatory effects.

Objectives To compare Doppler noninvasive vascular testing and computed tomographic angiography(CTA) with vascular angiography in the assessment of arteriosclerotic occlusion of the lower limbs. Methods In this study 97 lower extremities in 64 patients suffering from arteriosclerotic occlusion underwent both Doppler and CTA plus angiography. Angiogram results were taken as golden standard.The sensitivity and specificity of Doppler was calculated,the diagnostic accuracy of Doppler scanning and CTA plus angiography was calculated and compared.The statistic analysis was performed using x2 test in SPSS 16.0 format. Results Compared with CTA,Doppler scanning is equally accurate at the segments of iliac artery,common femoral artery,superficial femoral artery,dorsal pedis artery and posterior tibial artery (P ＞ 0.05).At segment of popliteal artery,Doppler scanning yields more accurate results (P ＜0.05 ). Conclusions Being noninvasive convenient and of good accuracy,Doppler examination has a role for the diagnosis of arteriosclerotic occlusion of the lower limbs.

Objectives To evaluate the safety and efficacy of endovascular angioplasty for extracranial vertebral artery ( VA ) stenosis caused by atherosclerosis. Methods We analyzed retrospectively data of the 24 patients with extracranial vertebral artery stenosis who had been placed endovascular angioplasty from April 2006 to March 2010. According to Mori classification, there were 21 type A and 3 type B among all cases.The artery stenosis rate was 60％ -95％ , the average was 79％ ± 10％. Results Twenty-four balloon mounted stents were placed, the successful rate was 100％. Postoperatively the stenosis rate decreased to 4％ ± 6％. Patients were followed up from 3 to 36 months, the average was 22 months. Symptomes disappeared in 15 out of 17 patients. Postoperative restenosis on the treatment site with transient brain ischemia occurred in one patient. The symptoms in another patient of multiple cerebral infarction with ataxia and episodic vertigo were not relieved, although the patient didn't suffer from apoplectic seizure after the intervention. Postoperative color Doppler ultrasound revealed an over 50％ residual stenosis in 5 patients. The postoperative restenosis rate was 20. 8％. According to Malek scoring, 22 patients were scored 1 point, 1 patient scored 2 and one scored 4. Conclusions Endovascular angioplasty with stent placement is a safe and effective treatment. The restenosis rate could be futher reduced by technology improvement.

OBJECTIVEGas chromatography (GC) was used to investigate the cellular fatty acid (CFA) composition of 141 Acinetobacter baumannii and 32 A. calcoaceticus isolates from different locations in China and to find chemical markers to differentiate these two closely related bacteria.

METHODSWhole cell fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) were obtained by saponification, methylation, and extraction for GC analysis, followed by a standardized Microbial Identification System (MIS) analysis.

RESULTSAll A. baumannii and A. calcoaceticus strains contained some major fatty acids, namely, 18:1 ω9c, 16:0, Sum In Feature 3, 12:0, 17:1ω8c, 3-OH-12:0, 17:0, Sum In Feature 2, 2-OH-12:0, and 18:0 compounds. Although most of the total CFAs are similar between A. baumannii and A. calcoaceticus strains, the ratios of two pairs of CFAs, i.e., Sum In Feature 3/18:1 ω9c versus 16:0/18:1 ω9c and Sum In Feature 3/18:1 ω9c versus unknown 12.484/18:1 ω9c fatty acids, could differentiate these two closely related bacteria. A. baumannii could be easily classified into two subgroups by plotting some ratios such as Sum In Feature 3/16:0 versus 17:0 and Sum In Feature 3/2-OH-12:0 versus 17:0 fatty acids.

CONCLUSIONThe ratios of some CFAs could be used as chemical markers to distinguish A. baumannii from A. calcoaceticus.

Abstract: Objective To analyze the industry characteristics of new occupational pneumoconiosis in Foshan from 2007 to Methods 2021. The data of new cases of occupational pneumoconiosis in Foshan City from 2007 to 2021 were obtained from “ ” ， “ the China Disease Prevention and Control Information System subsystem the Occupational Disease and Health Hazardous ”， Results Factors Monitoring Information System and the industry characteristics of the cases were analyzed. From 2007 to ， ， （ ） 2021 there were 886 new cases of occupational pneumoconiosis in Foshan mainly include silicosis 68.3% in males （ ）， （ ） 94.2% and stage Ⅰ pneumoconiosis cases 75.9% . The median age of cases at the time of diagnosed disease was 47 years ， old and the median working age of dust exposure was 11.2 years. The enterprises where all cases are located involve eight top ， ； ， - industry categories of which manufacturing industry accounted for 97.6% and 30 major industry categories of which non （ ） ， metallic mineral products industry was the highest 60.5% . There were 554 sporadic cases and 332 cluster cases and the ， ， Conclusion industries were mainly non-metallic mineral products accounting for 55.0% and 69.6% respectively. ， - Occupational pneumoconiosis in Foshan is dominated by silicosis and the key industries are non metallic mineral products.

Objective To study the diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of sinonasal neuroendocrine carcinoma.Methods The clinical data of 11 cases with sinonasal neuroendocrine carcinoma treated in Zhejiang Cancer Hospital from 1998 to 2010 were analyzed retrospectively.Ten cases were small cell type and one case was atypical carcinoid.Two cases were Kadish stage A,six cases were Kadish stage B and three cases were Kadish stage C.One case was treated by only operation,one case by only radiotherapy,one case by only chemotherapy,two cases by radiotherapy and chemotherapy,and six cases by combined treatment(surgery followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy).Results All cases were followed up for 2 months up to 12 years.Of six cases by combined treatment two cases died in 3 years and in 4 years after treatment respectively,three cases survived tumor-free for 12,8 and 8 years and one case was still in treatment.Of other five cases,four cases died in 12 months and one case died in 18 months after treatment.Conclusions There's no standard treatment plan.Combined treatment based on surgery should be adopted to nasal neuroendocrine carcinoma.Recurrence is common and the prognosis is poor.The key to improving the survival rate of the disease is early accurate diagnosis and combined treatment.

OBJECTIVETo introduce the procedure of carotid stenting, and to summary experiences of 55 cases. To study the theory and clinical significance of carotid stenting for carotid artery stenosis.

METHODSFifty-five patients with severe carotid atheromatous stenoses were treated by stent implantation. Fifty-eight stents were implanted. Forty-one of these stents were Wallstent, 14 were Smart stents and 3 were OptiMed stents. Cerebral protection device was furnished for 18 patients.

RESULTSDuring operation, there were 2 cases of small stroke and 2 cases of major stroke. One patient suffered from left eye area deficit, who had a little signs after 3 months. Another patient had consciousness loss and right-side paralysis and had a recovery in consciousness after salvage. The incidence of nervous system complications was 6.9%. Serious stroke rate was 3.5%. The incidence of circulatory system complications was 10.3%. Those patients who received cerebral protection device did not have nervous complication.

CONCLUSIONCarotid stenting is effective for the treatment of carotid artery stenosis. The experienced surgeon can make this procedure safe. The procedure's safety is enhanced by using cerebral protection device.

Objective To evaluate the safety and efficacy of endovascular intervention to revise peripheral bypass problems through prosthetic approach.Methods Among 17 cases undergoing graft bypass anastomotic stenosis and graft thrombosis was identifled in 16 cases(inflow or outflow obstructive lesions in 10),inflow obstructive lessions in 1(without anastomotic and graft thrombosis).All revision procedures were taken under local anesthesia,16 patients were treated by means of surgical thrombectomy followed by endovascular intervention through prosthesis itself in addition to one who had no thrombectomy.The graft patency and clinical outcome were observed.Resuits Thirteen stents were implanted in 13patients with distal anastomotic stenosis and 1 with proximal anastomotic stenosis including 10 stentings/PTAs in iliac popliteal,posterior tibial or anterior tibial arteries.One stent was implanted in 1 patient with common femoral stenosis.Stenting were not used(abandoned)in 2 patients,of which one underwent a foot amputation and calf gangrene occurred a week later,and the other had a redo of grafting.Follow-up time is 1-35 months.with an average of 12±4 months.One had a below-knee amputation two months after intervention,the other had symptoms recurred and treated with a redo 3 months afterwards.the third died of myocardial infarction six months later.Grafts remained patent in the rest 13 patients at follow-up.Conclusions Endovascular intervention through prosthesis is a safe and effective method,which offers an alternative means to treat anastomotic stenosis.inflow or outflow obstructive lesions.
