ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of clinical pathway teaching methord in nursing practice teaching. Methods80 junior college nursing students were randomly divided into control and experimental groups. Traditional clinical teaching method was given to control group, while the clinical pathway teaching method was given to observation group. Scores of comprehensive quality after departmental rotation and satisfaction rates of nursing students to teaching method in these two groups were evaluated. ResultsThe experimental group was significantly better than the control group ( P＜0.05 ), and the difference was statistically significant. ConclusionThe clinical pathway can significantly improve the quality of nursing practice teaching.

?AlM: To observe the effect of Qingguang'an on elastic fiber, MMP-7, TlMP-1 in scarring area of filtration canal after glaucoma surgery through the four Qingguang'an effective groups and Qingguang'an granules, to discuss and compare their mechanism of action on scarring area of filtration canal.?METHODS:Four effective components of Qingguang'an were used in groups D, E, F, G and H after glaucoma surgery, compared with group A ( blank ) , group B (model) and group C ( MMC) to observe the effect of elastic fiber, MMP-7, TlMP-1 in scarring filtration canal.?RESULTS:Compared with the preoperative basic lOP and 2d , 1, 2, 4wk postoperative lOP of groups C, E and H, the lOP of three group rose up slower than other groups, and kept the lowest data at 28d. There was significant difference compared with the rest of A, B, D, F, G groups (P<0. 05). The area and density of elastic fiber in surgery group were significantly different with that of black control group ( P<0. 05 ), but there were no statistical differences between groups C and H, groups C and F, groups H and E (P>0. 05). The difference was statistically significant among other groups (P<0. 01).?CONCLUSlON:The scarring area of filtration canal after glaucoma surgery is the major reason which lead to the failure of surgery. Qingguang'an effective group 2, Qingguang'an granules and MMC could reduced the scar tissue by restrained the elastic fiber, TlMP - 1 and increased the MMP-7. By observing the experimental results that both Qingguang'an effective group 2 and Qingguang'an granules could restrained the scarring area of filtration canal, the effects were unbiased, Qingguang'an granules group is better than effective group 2.

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of moxibustion therapy plus Liu's pediatric massage (tuina) for children with recurrent respiratory tract infections due to qi deficiency of spleen and lung. Methods: A total of 60 children who met the inclusion criteria were divided into an observation group and a control group according to the visiting sequence, with 30 cases in each group. Children in the observation group were treated with moxibustion therapy plus Liu's pediatric massage, and those in the control group were treated with Liu's pediatric massage alone. The incidence of respiratory tract infections and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) symptoms score were observed and recorded in both groups before and after treatment. And the clinical efficacy was compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.3％, and that of the control group was 83.3％. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the TCM symptoms score and total times of infections in both groups were all statistically different from those before treatment (all P<0.05). The differences in TCM symptoms score and infection frequency before and after treatment in the observation group were statistically different from those in the control group (both P<0.05). Conclusion: Moxibustion therapy plus Liu's pediatric massage has a better effect in improving the clinical symptoms and reducing the frequency of respiratory tract infections for children with recurrent respiratory tract infections due to qi deficiency of spleen and lung than the pediatric massage alone.

Objective To investigate the accuracy of low-dose dual-source computed tomography (DSCT) coronary angiography in the step-and-shoot (SAS) mode for the diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis in comparison with conventional coronary angingraphy (CCA).Methods Prospective multiple-center study, 46 patients[mean age(58±9) years;bedy mass index(BMI) (25±3) kg/m2]underwent both DSCT in the SAS mode and CCA within 14 days.The inclusion criteria for contrast-enhanced CT: (1) heart rate less than 65 times/rain (bpm).(2) regular sinus rhythm, heart rate fluctuations within the range of 6 bpm. (3) holding breath well, breath-hold time is about 12-15 s.The exclusion criteria:(1) allergy to iodinecontaining contrast medium, nephropathy (serum creatinine level 120 μmol/L), heart failure and serious arrhythmias.(2) patients with coronary stents or bypass grafts.(3) heart rate can not be controlled very well (4)the patient could not take nitroglycerin.(5)BMI 30 kg/m2.(6) other heart disease: carcliomyopathy, valvular disease etc.Sensitivity, specificity, negative (NPV) and positive predictive value (PPV) were determined with CCA as standard of reference.The Kappa value between the two modalities and the two observers was calculated.Radiation dose values were measured.Results Mean heart rate during scanning was (61±6)bpm.99.19% (614/619) coronary segments were depicted with a diagnostic image quality. The vessel-based sensitivity, specificity, PPV, and NPV for the diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis were 96.2% (75/78), 88.2% (60/68), 90.4% (75/83), and 95.2% (60/63), respectively.The Kappa value between the two modalities was 0.848 (P=0.000).The mean effective dose of the SAS-CTCA was (2.95± 0.96) rosy(1.26-4.32 mSy).Conclusion In selected patients, DSCT coronary angiography in the SAS mode have good image quality, which allows for the accurate diagnosis of coronary stenosis at a low radiation dose.

To review the application,acceptance,evaluation and funding of the General,Youth and Regional Science Fund supported by Chinese National Natural Science Foundation in traditional Chinese medicine in 2017.There were 4 472 applications in the subject,114 of which failed in the formal examination,4 358 applications were accepted in the next assessment step;1 403 applications got more than 2 recommendations after peer assessment and 637 applications were funded in the end.The major problems in every step of Science Fund were analyzed in this paper.The author hopes all applicants should pay attention to the problems,and then improve the quality of applications in the field.

OBJECTIVEThe purpose of this study was to investigate the distribution of collagen I, II , X, alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and their roles during initiation of condylar cartilage of the fetal mouse.

METHODSCoronary sections of mandible of mouse embryo aged from 14th to 18th day were studied under light microscope after stained by immunohistochemical method with antibody of types I, II, X collagen and ALP.

RESULTSOn the 14th day of mouse embryo, it was found that mesenchymal cells condensation continuous with the periosteum. Type I collagen and ALP were positive behind the terminal of the ossifying mandibular periosteum where future condylar will form. On the 15th day, positive staining for types I, II collagen was found in mesenchymal cells around hypertrophic cells and type X collagen was detected in hypertrophic cells. ALP was positive in both mesenchymal cells and hypertrophic cells. On the 16th day, type I collagen was observed from periosteal osteogenic cells and mesenchymal cells of the fibrous cell layer to the upper hypertrophic cell layer while Type II collagen was restricted from the lower polymorphic cell layer to the bottom of the hypertropic cell layer. Type X collagen was positive in the hypertrophic cell layer. ALP was positive in periosteal osteogenic cells and hypertrophic chondral cells, but not in the polymorphic cell layer.

CONCLUSIONDevelopment of condylar cartilage is different from that of limb bone. Types I, II, X collagen are expressed in the condylar chondrocyte on the early stage of endochondral ossification. The histology evidence supports the conjecture that condylar cartilage is derived from differentiated mesenchymal cells of the preperiosteum or periosteum of the mandible where ALP is positively expressed.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effect of actovegin (Nycomed, deproteinized hemoderivative of calf blood injection) on intestinal mucosa in rats with acute radiation enteritis, and observe the changes of expression of apoptosis-related bcl-2/bax genes.

METHODSAn abdominal irradiation in a dose of 9.0 Gy X-ray of linear accelerator was performed once on a group of Wistar rats to establish a model of acute intestinal radiation enteritis. The experimental rats were randomly divided into five groups. Group 1 was normal control group; group 2 was model control group; groups 3, 4 and 5 were treated with low, middle and high dose of actovegin, respectively. After the model was established, actovegin injection was given intraperitoneally for successive 4 days. Corresponding intestinal tissues were taken for morphological examination with an image analysis system. The expression of apoptosis related bax and bcl-2 protein in the intestinal mucosal epithelial cells was determined by immunohistochemistry.

RESULTSThe groups 4 and 5 had significantly higher height of intestinal villi, the depth of crypt, the thickness of the mucosa and entire wall (254.66/261.71 microm, 166.47/165.41 microm, 510.44/511.71 microm, 610.38/608.98 microm), compared with those of the model control group (239.12 microm, 151.45 microm, 420.27 microm and 579.32 microm), respectively (P < 0.05). Treatment with middle and high doses of actovegin also significantly down-regulated the expression of activating apoptosis protein bax (24.54/23.24) compared with that of model control group (59.32) (P < 0.05) and up-regulated the expression of inhibiting apoptosis protein bcl-2 (55.54/52.21) compared with that of model control group (20.32) (P < 0.05). The ratio of bcl-2/bax was significantly higher in the groups 4 and 5 (2.2632, 2.1275) compared with that in the model control group (0.3425) (P < 0.01).

CONCLUSIONActovegin accelerates the recovery of the acute radiation-injured intestinal mucosal epithelium by decreasing apoptosis via down-regulation of the expression of activating apoptosis protein bax and up-regulation of inhibiting apoptosis protein bcl-2.

AIMThe purpose of this study is to compare the effects of the two clutches on recording the condylar movement.

METHODOLOGYTen subjects (6 women, 4 men; mean age 25.4 years) participated in the study. The mandibular movement, sagittal condylar inclination angle, and transversal condylar inclination angle of each subject were recorded with the CADIAX using the two clutches, respectively. The characteristics of the tracings of the protrusion, opening, and mediotrusion were analyzed with the t-test statistics at a = 0.05 level. The Kappa values were calculated for an assessment of the congruence of the tracings.

RESULTSThe results showed that the contour, direction, and dimension of the tracings in the two clutches were approximately same, but the tracings determined by the functional occlusal clutch were more regular and congruent. In the group segment recorded with the tray clutch, opening/closing paths of one subject showed crossed and time curves of three subjects appeared peak-like changes of velocity, but none were statistically different (P>0.05).

CONCLUSIONThe research suggests that the functional occlusal clutch should be preferred in the evaluation of the mandibular function, as the tracings with the tray clutch are more likely to produce false positive results.

Objective To investigate the influence of Nan-stress test (NST) and abnormal umbilical blood flow S/D on fetus in late pregnancy, and to explore the effective nursing. Methods A total of 105 cases with abnormal NST, above 25 weeks pregnancy, were selected to be undergone umbilical blood flow graph and effective nursing interventions. Retrospective data of 98 cases were selected as control group. Results According to the results of NST positive eases of the case group, 103 cases with NST Fischer score 5 ～7(98.1% ), 2cases with less than 4 ( 1.9% ). Umbilical blood flow S/D of 87 cases were normal ( 82.9% ), 16 cases were mild abnormity( 15.2% ), 2 cases were severe abnormality( 1.9% ). Umbihcal blood flow S/D of mild abnormity was (3.716±0.432), it became lower (3. 132±0.398) after Oxygen was given to the cases. The rates of fetal distress ,neonatal asphyxia, low birth wight neonatal and perinatal mortality in case group were lower than that of the control group. Conclusions NST and umbilical blood flow monitoring should be done as routine tests in late pregnancy in order to detect the fetal abnormal potential reserve, carry into effective monitoring and nursing and reduce neonatal complications , asphyxia and perinatal mortality.
