Objective: To study the effect of emotion on blood pressure of patients with primary hypertension Method: 100 patients with primary hypertension completed SAS (self-rate anxiety scale) and Type A Behavior Questionnaire 62 of them had typical type A behavior, they were divided into two groups by results of SAS, 34 were SAS negative, 28 were positive The 28 patients were randomly divided into two groups, 14 received Lorsartan 50 mg daily for 30 days, the other 14 received both Paroxetine 20 mg daily and Lorsartan 50 mg daily for 30 days The 34 SAS negative patients also received Lorsartan 50 mg daily for 30 days Result: The positive rate of SAS was significant different between type A patients (28/62, 45 2%) and non-type A patients (4/38, 10 5%) In treatment of hypertension, the effective rate of Lorsartan in patients neither anxious nor type A predominant was 79 4%, that in the 14 patients with both anxiety and type A behavior was only 57 1% While in those using Lorsartan and Paroxetine, the effective rate was 78 5%, similar to that in patients neither anxious nor type A predominant Conclusion: Anxiety is much more common in hypertension patients predominant in type A behavior Treatment of anxiety is helpful to treatment of hypertension in patients both anxious and type A behavior predominant

Objective To investigate the changes in molecule levels of Ras-ERK signal pathway of K562 cells treated with simvastatin in vitro,and to illustrate that simvastatin inducing the changes in molecule levels of Ras- ERK signal pathway is involved in regulation of proliferation and apoptosis of K562 cells. Methods K562 cells,the chronic myelocytic leukemia(CML) cell lines,were cultured and treated with simvastatin in vitro and proliferation activity of K562 cells was detected by MTT. The changes of apoptosis rate and cell cycle of K562 cells were measured by flow cytometry(FCM). The molecular changes of Ras-ERK signal pathway were analyzed by RT- PCR in transcriptional level. Results The proliferation of K562 cells was inhibited by simvastatin,and G_0-G_1 arrested in K562 cells and significant apoptosis rate was observed with FCM. Most molecules of Ras- ERK signal pathway expressed differentially at transctiptional level. Conclusion Simvastatin probablely inhibit proliferation and induces apoptosis of K562 cells,depending on Ras-ERK signal pathway which is involved in cell proliferation and apoptosis.

This paper studied the protective effect of gypenosides (GPS) on oxidative damage of myocardium of guinea pig, Using xan-thine-xanthine oxidase (X-XOD) producing free radicals. In the isolated guinea pig papillary muscles, X- XOD produced the quick positive inotropism at first and then the continuous negative one, shortened the functional refractory period (FRP) and elevated the excitability and increased the automaticity induced by adrenaline, inhibited the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and increased the content of malondi-aldehyde (MDA). GPS inhibited the negative inotropism of papillary muscles produced by X-XOD,resisted the changes of FRP, automaticity and excitability induced by X- XOD. Meanwhile, GPS antagonized the effect of X-XOD which decreased activity of SOD and increased the content of MDA. These studies indicate that GPS can protect the myocardium from oxidative damage.

Objective To investigate the neuropsychological and functional neuroimaging features in patients with cerebellar infarction (CI).Methods We analyzed 59 CI patients (27 left CI,32 right CI) and 26 healthy control subjects who received standard and experimental cognitive testing and neuroimaging study.We compared the cognitive manifestations between the groups with Student' s t test.Results Patients with CI(left/right) achieved significantly lower scores in auditory verbal learning test (AVLT) of memory test (12.27 ± 1.37 vs 9.33 ± 1.90/10.25 ±2.20,t =6.46,4.26,P ＜0.05),Associative Learning of Clinical Memory Scale (22.77 ± 3.07 vs 18.67 ± 1.98/16.84 ± 3.55,t =5.74,6.69,P ＜ 0.05),symbol digit modalities test (SDMT) of visuospatial test(42.54 ±6.32 vs 20.85 ±9.57/34.84 ± 16.10,t =9.68,2.47,P ＜ 0.05),and errors responses (RE) of Wisconsin card sorting test for executive function (16.77 ± 2.64vs 52.22 ± 16.29/54.47 ± 16.27,t =11.15,12.89,P ＜ 0.05).Patients with left CI had significantly lower scores in correct responses percentage (RCP; 58.71 ± 10.93 vs 78.43 ± 5.26,t =-8.41,P ＜ 0.05)and significantly higher scores in the trials to compete first category (RF; 23.59 ± 9.79 vs 14.12 ± 3.75,t =4.68,P ＜ 0.05).Those finding suggests left CI would cause impairment on abstract conceptualization and concept formation; The patients with right CI had significantly lower scores in total memory quotient (86.69 ± 7.56 vs 112.02 ± 9.70,t =-11.17,P ＜ 0.05),higher scores in perseverative responses (RP ;44.59 ± 17.50 vs 8.23 ± 3.46,t =11.47,P ＜ 0.05) and nonperseverative responses errors percentage (nRPE; 44.00 ±20.67 vs 10.58 ± 2.35,t =9.07,P ＜ 0.05).It means right CI would cause serious deficits on memory,cognitive shift and attention.The fibers between cerebellum and frontal,parietal lobe were reduced in CI patients,compared with healthy control.Conclusions These results suggest that cerebellum participated in the formation of part of cognitive function by connection with cerebrum.After CI,that the fibers contacted with the prefrontal and parietal reduced is the possible mechanisms for cognitive impairment.

Objective To supply evidence for determining the optimal collecting period for Sambucus chinese.Methods A RP-HPLC method was established to determine chlorogenic acid contents from Sambucus chinese in various collecting periods.The chromatographic conditions were as follows: Hypersil-ODS2(250 mm? 4.6 mm,5 ? m)column,acetonitrile-1 % formic acid aqueous solution(9 ∶ 91) as mobile phase with a flow rate of 1.0 mL? min-1,column temperature at 35 ℃ and the detection wavelength at 326 nm.Results Content of chlorogenic acid in the samples collected in May(pre-blossom period)was the highest and the content in leaf was higher than in the stem and root.Conclusion It is suggested that Sambucus chinese should be gathered before blooming when the leaves are in luxuriance.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of three kinds of dose of pulmonary surfactant (PS) in neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (NRDS), and to determine the optimal dose. Methods One hundred and seventy-four cases of NRDS were divided into A group (59 cases), B group (57 cases) and C group (58 cases) according random digits table. Based on the conventional treatment, children in A group were given large dose of poractant alfa injection 250 mg/kg, children in B group were given 200 mg/kg, and children in C group were given 100 mg/kg. After treatment for 1, 6, 12 and 24 h, the arterial oxygen saturation (SaO2), inspired oxygen concentration (FiO2), arterial oxygen tension (PaO2), oxygenation index (OI), arterial/alveolar oxygen tension ratio (a/APO 2), ventilator using and oxygen using time and the incidence of complication were compared. Results After treatment for 12,and 24 h, the levels of SaO 2 in A group and B group were significantly higher than those in C group: 0.936 ± 0.018, 0.935 ±0.019 vs. 0.857 ±0.027;0.941 ±0.017, 0.946 ±0.015 vs. 0.847 ±0.053, and there were significant differences (P<0.01). After treatment for 12 and 24 h, the levels of SaO 2 in A group and B group had no significant differences ( P>0.05). After treatment for 1, 6, 12, and 24 h, the levels of FiO 2 and OI in A group and B group were significantly lower than those in C group, and the levels of PaO 2 and a/APO2 in A group and B group were significantly higher than those in C group. There were significant differences (P<0.01). The levels of FiO2, OI, PaO2 and a/APO2 in A group and B group had no significant differences ( P>0.05). The ventilator using time in A, B and C group were (108.6±23.5) , (119.6±32.8), (156.3±27.3) h, and there were significant differences (P<0.05 or<0.01). The oxygen using time in A and B group had no significant difference ( P>0.05). The oxygen using time in C group was significantly longer than that in A and B group: (186.5 ± 52.8) h vs. (148.7 ±24.4), (154.6±28.2), P<0.01. The incidence of complication in A and B group had no significant difference ( P>0.05).The incidence of complication in C group was significantly higher than that in A and B group:29.31%(17/58) vs. 13.56%(8/59), 12.28%(7/57), P<0.05. Conclusions Poractant alfa injection 200 mg/kg is optimal dosage for poractant alfa injection in the treatment of NRDS, and it can effectively improve oxygenation and ventilation function, reduce the incidence of complication, shorten the course of disease and improve the prognosis and increase the cure rate. Excessive dose is waste, and little dose can not get effective treatment.

Objective To compare and evaluate the efficacy of diagnosis and excision for appropriately selected breast multi-focal lesions and solitary lesion by ultrasound-guided vacuum-assisted biopsy (UGVAB). Methods Among 392 appropriately selected patients, 187 patients with multi-focal lesions and 205 patients with solitary lesion were treated by the 8-gauge UGVAB from May 2007 to June 2009. All lesions were removed as completely as possible. The patients with benign pathology underwent physical and ultrasound examinations at one week and 6 months after procedure. Results During the procedure, only three patients had vasovagal syncope and twenty others complained of other intraoperative discomfort. An accurate pathological diagnosis was obtained in all lesions. There was no apparent false-negative result among the 696 lesions with benign pathology at a follow-up of 6 months after procedure. The rates of malignant or premalignant pathology, postoperative complications and residual lesions in patients with multi-focal lesions were higher than those in patients with solitary lesion. If each lesion was considered as a subject of study, there was no significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion UGVAB is an effective method for diagnosis and excision of appropriately selected breast multi-focal lesions and can be used routinely.

When we did compatibility testing, we found a case of leukemia with irregular antibody. The antibody specificity was identified as anti-Ce using panel-cell, and was IgG antibody. The anti-Ce antibody had both anti-C and anti-e activity. It is very difficult to find a Ce antigen negative blood for transfusion. The compatible donors rate is very low, only 2%-3%.

Objective To investigate the prevalence of the occupational hazard of organic solvent and noise in printing and Methods record medium production enterprises in Longgang District of Shenzhen City. A total of 56 printing and record medium production enterprises were selected as the study subjects by judgmental sampling method to analyze the worksite Results survey of occupational health and the key occupational hazard factors. There were 256 organic solvent samples ， detected in 56 enterprises which included a total of 148 terms and 1 358 categories of volatile constituents. The top three （ ）， - （ ） （ ） volatile constituents were toluene 35.5% n hexane 25.7% and methanol 23.8% . The top three detected samples of the （ ， ， ， ， - ， ，- ， eight key chemical occupational hazard factors benzene toluene xylene ethylbenzene n hexane 1 2 dichloroethane ） ， - ， trichloroethylene and chloroform were toluene n hexane and ethylbenzene. In the workplace air toluene was the most risk ， factor of occupational hazard factors in enterprise and in sample detection while no trichloromethane was detected. The toluene in workplace air was found to exceed the national standard with the rate of 2.6%. It showed that 27.9% of the work sites were found occupational noise hazard which was over national standard in the 10 key work sites. Only 64.3% and 57.1% enterprises - performed occupational hazard factors detection and occupational health examination. Both none or invalid toxicant proof - facilities accounted for 33.9% of the enterprises. Both none or invalid noise proof facilities accounted for 78.6% of the Conclusion ， - enterprises. The occupational hazards factor of toluene n hexane and noise were serious in printing and record ， medium production enterprises in Longgang District of Shenzhen City and the occupational health management was imperfect. The occupational regulation should be enhanced in this industry.
