Objective To compare two kinds of music therapy to improve the anxiety of ICU patients in order to explore the best setting of individual music therapy and improve efficiency of music therapy. Methods According to enrolling order,60 patients who had been in ICU for more than 1 week were divided into the test group and the control group with 30 cases in each group. The two groups both received conventional nursing. The test group listened to different music without time constrain every day.The control group received fixed music timing every day. Before and after intervention, the two groups were investigated with self-rating anxiety scale(SAS).Results The SAS score of the test group significantly decreased after intervention, showing statistical difference(P<0.01).The SAS score of the control group decreased after intervention as well, but showing no statistical difference(P>0.05).The score of the test group was lower than that of the test group after intervention, showing statistical difference(P<0.01).Conclusions The therapy using different music without time constrain has better effect on reducing the anxiety of ICU patients than that using timing and fixed music.

Objective To explore the effect of health education improvement on promotion of timely vaccination among migrant children in community and to provide references for community health service center. Methods A total of 155 migrant children's parents were recruited from July 2015 to February 2016,and improved health education intervention was carried out on the basis of routine health education to promote parents' health belief on timely vaccination. The compliance of parents' participation in health education activities, the health belief of parents themselves on timely vaccination at different stages of intervention and parents' satisfaction, and the rate of timely vaccination of migrant children before and after intervention were evaluated. Results Regarding the compliance of health education activities for parents in 12 weeks, the first 3 weeks was 85% ~ 91%,the last 4 weeks were 95% and above.Six months after intervention, the score of parents' health belief on timely vaccination was higher than that after 3 months of intervention and before intervention, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The timely vaccination rates in the study group for migrant children was higher than that in the historical groups (P<0.05).After intervention, the satisfaction rate for parents was 95.484%.Conclusion Health education improvement could effectively promote parents' health belief on timely vaccination, satisfaction rate and rate of timely vaccination among migrant children.

Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2016;22(6):829-832
Objective To deep understand the working emotional experiences of general ICU nurses and to provide references for nurses to better understand and cope with the emotional stress, in order to further develop their personality. Methods A qualitative method was applied to this study. 12 general ICU nurses were in-depth interviewed and the data were analyzed by Colaizzi. Results Three main themes were extracted including the sense of responsibility and pressure;sense of pride and inferiority;sense of ambivalence and guilt. Conclusions The ambivalent emotional experiences existed in general ICU nurses. Thus, the administrators should pay more attention to the working emotional stress and should enhance self-construction and organizational as well as family support, in order to improve their quality of nursing.

Objective To translate the self-assessment of fall risk questionnaire for hospitalized patients (SAFR) into Chinese and test the reliability and validity of the instrument. Methods After obtaining permission from the original author, we translated the SAFR to Chinese and to do back-translation as well as cultural adjustment. And then, the Chinese version of SAFR was confirmed and its content validity was tested. Besides, the retest reliability, internal consistency reliability and construct validity of the Chinese version of SAFR were tested in nursing unit of our hospital. Results The Chinese version of SAFR was with high reliability and validity with 0.80 for the retest reliability ICC (P<0.05) and 0.688 for the Cronbach's α reliability coefficient. The content validity index (CVI) was 0.97 with the method of Delphi expert consultation. The construct validity of the instrument was measured by factor analysis. There were two common factors (eigenvalue >1) extracted by exploratory factor analysis with 57.588% for the cumulative variance contribution rate. Conclusions The Chinese version of SAFR has high reliability and validity with convenient and fast operation. The instrument can be considered a primary screening instrument of self-assessment of fall risk for hospitalized patients.

Cognitive frailty is a heterogeneous clinical syndrome with cumulative effects in the negative events. The key link of prevention and management of cognitive frailty is to carry out community-based screening, effectively integrate and identify the predictive factors of cognitive frailty, early control the risk factors of cognitive frailty, and reduce the incidence. Building risk prediction models for disease diagnosis and risk prediction gradually becomes a research hotspot. This paper summarizes the risk factors, overview of risk prediction models, and comparison of different risk prediction models for cognitive frailty among the elderly in the community, in order to provide reference for grassroots medical and nursing staff to intervene in cognitive frailty among the elderly in the community.

Objective To conduct a scoping review of studies on online health information-seeking behavior interventions for older adults to determine the specific content, outcome indicators and effects of online health information-seeking behavior interventions for older adults, and to provide references for future research and practice. Methods Computer search was conducted to retrieve studies related to health information-seeking behavior intervention for older adults based on digital technology from PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,CNKI,Wanfang Database, and China Biomedical Literature Database. The search period was from the construction of the database to 18 January 2024.The included literature was screened and summarized by 2 researchers. Results 19 papers were included.Pre-intervention preparation for an online health information-seeking behavior intervention for older adults included participant recruitment, baseline surveys, and material preparation.Intervention content elements included training in basic computer and Internet knowledge and skills, knowledge and use of online health resources, evaluation of online health information quality, and application of online health information. The intervention sites were mainly places where older people live and work.Intervention time and frequency were 1-3 hours for one-time intervention training,1-2 times/week for 4-6 weeks for short-term intervention in ongoing intervention support,1-3 times/month for 3-4 months for long-term intervention. The outcome indicators are mainly related to computer knowledge and skills indicators, health attitudes indicators, online health information seeking behaviour indicators, and health behaviour indicators. Conclusion Online health information-seeking behaviour interventions for the elderly are feasible and effective, and high-quality empirical studies can be conducted in the future to improve online health information-seeking behaviour of the elderly and promote health management by improving intervention preparation, integrating technological innovations, and promoting the development of personalized intervention programs.

Objective To understand the current status and influencing factors of patient perception for humanistic care in China hospitals, and to provide a basis for developing nursing humanistic care measures and improving the quality of nursing humanistic care services. Methods A total of 30,099 outpatients and inpatients from 107 hospitals in 30 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)from July to August 2022 as survey subjects.A general information questionnaire and the Relational Caring Questionnaire-Patient Form were used for a cross-sectional survey, and a single-factor analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of patient relationship care. Results Finally,29 108 valid questionnaires were collected, and the effective questionnaire recovery rate was 96.7%.The patient evaluation of relationship care was(65.72±8.61)points.Single-factor analysis showed that gender, age, marital status, children's situation, education level, occupation, place of residence, average family income, medical insurance type, visiting department, and location of the visiting hospital, and whether or not surgery were influencing factors of patient relationship care(P<0.05).Conclusion The evaluation score of caregiver-patient relationship care among Chinese hospital patients is above average, but there is still room for improvement in western and rural regions, seriously ill and outpatient patients,low-income and low-medical insurance reimbursement populations, and non-surgical patients.Medical institutions at all levels should optimize and improve nursing humanistic care services based on influencing factors, and further enhance patients'perception of nursing humanistic care.
